The new style is eh, I can't wear them anymore because of the way the leather curves down the side is uncomfortable, I personally also feel it looks kinda weird and the extra stitching on the toe of the shoe seems unnecessary. At least they still feel quality, better than converse for sure. I miss the old style for both brands. I, unfortunately, won't be buying them again, but if you can stand how they fit and, unlike me, don't think they look bulky and kinda dumb, they'll probably last you a nice long time.

This is the exact shoes I purchased because I "designed" my Sk8-Hi vans. I have had my particular pair of SK8-Hi shoes for a little over a year I don't wear them a lot because they began falling apart about a month after I received them. I now have to keep a tube of E6000/Shoe Goo on hand just to keep the soles from falling off. I have never had to do this to any pair of shoes I have owned. With that being said the shoes are comfortable to wear and the tread still looks very nice with very minimal wear but that's all because I don't wear them due to them falling apart. Keep in mind I don't skate I don't ride bikes anymore and the most I have done in these shoes is lift weights in the gym and go to the store in them.

I was really excited to get these shoes. I ordered a size 7 because i'm normally a size 7 but they were too tight and fit too small and left blisters on my feet :(

I love vans, they're my go to shoe. When looking for a new pair, I chose to go with brown to match some outfits. However, when they arrived they were more maroon than brown. Will return for another pair

I have 10 pairs of Vans, all are 9.5 in size. This shoe is way to tight.

Material have different colors.

Love the color and style, but the sizing is off. I got my normal size, too! Sad about this! Two stars because of the funky sizing.

Daily middle school use, as part of a compulsory uniform. Not used for PE or sports. Uppers completely separated from soles. 2 stars for comfort.

Just received these and they are not monochromatic. The suede upper is more of a muted sage green, while the sole is kind of a brownish green. Too bad - the grey mono hi's I own are a perfect color match top and bottom. These are going back.

2 stars because they're Vans, would get zero for the canvas. I'm an old fogie that's been wearing Vans since 1978. These canvas SK8 His are a joke. Zero durability on the toe. Worse if you skate. Can't seem to find the classic black on black with leather toe and uppers. At least, not on the site.

They're actually grey. Your have to like study the shoe to see any of the green in them. I also thought the leather around the ankle was uncomfortable.

Love the look of this shoe for my son, but after just a few wears, the rubber and canvas are coming apart at the crease where the foot bends. Disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of this shoe.

I love them but the color Red is not true to size. I ordered 7.5 women's in black and red. The black for perfect but the red are too big.

Bought myself some green vans sk8-hi on december 27th.i only wear them on weekends because i wear boots for work during the week. ive never taken them camping, out of town, or performed any kind of work in them. Its been 87 days and they are completely falling apart seemingly out of nowhere. Im sure vans knows their shoes are purchased for fashion not for function. Ive been wearing vans EXCLUSIVELY for almost 20 years but its hard to justify being a customer when i can spend the same amount on other brands and get 5x the performance out of them.

Vans needs to get on their A game. These classic Velcro vans are never in stock Holidays are approaching. Do better Vans!!!!!

Within less than a month of my son wearing these shoes, they have started to fall apart. Not made well at all. I have tried to either get a new pair or a refund from the company and they have dragged their feet. Terrible customer service in my opinion. I sent pictures and then more pictures and now I have to send a third set of pictures. Would never order them again.

These are not only the worst Vans I've purchased, but one of the worst pairs of shoes I've ever worn. My heels are cut up and my feet hurt.

Not only was the sizing completely wrong but I paid for over night/next day shipping and the shoes show up 4 and a half days later!!!!

The laces are hard to adjust & the shoe itself is super wide! I'd have loved to have been able to just slip them on (being I ordered a whole size up to do so)

I only say this because they have yet to restock. I've been consistently checking for months now. Can't find the color I want anywhere.

This is the third pair of shoes that are not sized right that I have bought. I have always been an 8 in woman's and these are atleast 2 sizes to big even though they say size 8.

Been wearing Vans for about 20 years now, and never had a pair split open after only a month of use. Customer service was ZERO help. Do not recommend.

I've worn size 12 Vans for years. Currently own 3 pairs. Ordered these, wore them out for the first time. Bigger than 12. Not same sizing. Bummer.
