The eyelets part of the shoe could have been a little tighter, but the shoe is ultra comfortable, and very well made.

Is this shoe huge, or has my foot shrunk? I had a hard time finding a brown shoe that fit. I ordered my regular size (10 4E)--too big--I went a half size lower--still too big. I ordered a 9 4E and it fit, though it was a tiny bit snug at first, but it worked out within the 1st half hour. I much prefer the Hush Puppy Distance for looks (and true to size fit) but they didn't have brown in my size.

Great Shoe! It's hard to find nice looking, comfortable shoes for a size 14W but here they are! They even make my feet look smaller if you can believe that! I love these things! I would buy them again!

OUTSTANDING SHOE - I live in New York City and do lots of walking. This is a good shoe.

Functional shoe - Comfortable and just a do all shoe.

Good, not great, but very good - A few things. Note that there is a thin green stripe at the top of the sole. This isn't too noticeable unless you're sit with your legs crossed. Looks are nice and unlike a previous review doesn't look fake or plastic at all, looks (and is) just polished leather which lets this casual shoe style be "dressed up" if need be. Definitely fits bigger than most shoes.

Thankful - I'm just pleased to find any 6 1/2 wides to fit my small rectangle feet. I would have liked a little more arch but it was so much fun having a shoe that was just a little two big all around that I am not complaining.

Medium priced shoe designed for comfort - I am a senior citizen who is bothered by foot and heel problems, that is caused by so many hours standing and walking on concrete(type) surface floors. I tried the Hush Puppies shoes when I had ran out of options for a shoe that would help keep me on my feet and therefore an income to help meet the needs of my family. I tried two different styles of Hush Puppy shoe and the Mall Walked is decidedly the best choice for myself. The shoe fits the heel of my foot and the sizing is about as close at I could expect without going to a very expensive custom built shoe.

Comfort lacking - Really uncomfortable and hot to wear. Couldn't break them in and can't wear them anymore. Another point is that one shoe let water through on the upper seams

Hush Puppies Mall Walker - Very pleased overall with the look, weight and comfort. A tad narrower than expected. Still comfortable, just not a 5 mile plus shoe. I wear my own arch support (bad feet) so can't tell how good the arch support is without my inserts.

Good Shoes - Good shoes...shipped quick...since they are extra wide I should have ordered them 11.5 instead of 12

Ordinary - Not as comfortable as advertised.

This shoe looks classy and feels great and a good choice. I am a habitual sneaker wearer but this shoe still found its way into my rotation.

Having had three 4E's from other brands which accommodated my duck feet, I was delighted to find an offering of 5E's from Hush Puppies, a brand that I had had previous success with as far as fit and comfort goes. Unfortunately, these Mall Walkers pinch my little toes despite being too loose further back and on top of my foot. Too bad, because I like how they look.

These shoes are very comfortable and fit well. They also look nice. I'm getting to the age where I don't like wearing tennis shoes everywhere, so these fit the bill perfectly. The one and only complaint I have is the soles. My pair mark up and stain just about anything I walk on. I have a new car with beige interior, and I have to cover the floormats with a towel or these shoes will stain the mats black. I was at the vet, and after walking around the exam room, I looked down and was horrified to see the floor had black marks everywhere! I'm not sure why my pair do this. I love them, but I have to be very careful not to mark up the floor I'm walking on!

Nice for walking… in a mall Oh, I remember this shoe. I bought me a pair back in 1994. Excellent shoe all around, they’re soft and comfortable. However, the soles wore out in no time at all! This was surprising, given that this is supposed to be a “walking” shoe. Average life was about one month, no hard use, no running, just regular old fashioned walking on city streets.

Soles got to go - Everything would be great if the soles would last longer than 1year. Five stars if they could make longer lasting soles!

Hush Puppies Mall Walkers - Wide feet with bums on toes made shoes uncomfortable, but the width on the Hush Puppies Mall Walkers make my feet feel great. Glad I tried them.

Hush Puppies - These are everything I expected from a pair of Hush Puppies. They look great, but most of all, they are extremely comfortable. I am very pleased with how they feel.

Mall walker - Shoe had rough spots inside. Hard to get feet adjusted. Not a good shoe for your feet

Poor wear quality - Heel wears out too fast.

Hush Puppy - Could use more arch support, its a very durable shoe and it cleans up well with saddle soap.

Beautiful shoes. But, even though they were the ordered size and width, they fit like they are a full size too large. Quite uncomfortable. I'm trying to decide whether to return them or not. I put insoles in them to try to take up some of the excess space and this seems to have worked to some extent.

Like walking with skis on. The soles are totally inflexible. I am a pretty muscular guy, but I could not flex the shoe at all. Rides right off your heel no matter how tight you tie them.

Too Firm - I love Hush Puppies shoes but was disappointed with the Mall Walker (purchased elsewhere, so don't blame Zappos!). The quality is good but it's too firm, not cushioned well. If you want to feel your heel sink into a "pillowy" cushion when you walk, as I do, look elsewhere.
