The Wallabees of today are not the Wallabees I wore in college a hundred years ago. I needed walking shoes and recall how I trekked all over the grounds of a large university. I believe the shoes have been redesigned. Just looking at the shoe I suspected they would not fit. They didn't. The leather was very stiff (I admit I wore the suede back in the day) but these were so stiff I can't imagine how long it would take to loosen. The other problem was the vamp. The top of the tie only hit the middle of my foot. Too low. Anyway. Back they go. Thank you Zappos for your easy returns.

These are cute but not true to size. I ordered an 11 but it fit more like a 9.5. The other reviewers did not seem to have a problem though so maybe it was a fluke. I'm giving these few stars merely because of the size I received.
