I have walked back and forth on the carpet, but they still or not the same as the Wallabees that I used to wear ten years ago. I am sorry to return them but the front is so tight and the heels flop off.

I had already shopped these retro shoes, and Zappos gave the best price. They are what they seem, comfy, informal, well made as expected.

When I first put these shoes on, I was a bit worried about the way these shoes fit in the toe area. My pinky toe kind of felt crammed. After reading other comments, I adjusted my shoe strings and then realized how comfortable they were and then I knew that these would be some of my favorite shoes in my shoe collection. I recommend the dark brown color! Enjoy your Clarks Wallabees.

My daughter wanted a pair of Wallabees, a funny thing, since I haven't worn them since the 70's. But I relented thinking she wouldn't like the cheap copies they probably have today. These were perfect. Soft and flexible, as comfortable as I remember them (she let me try them on.)The price was a little higher than in my day, but because they're Clarks, they'll last a good long time.

Cute, but not as cute as the boot. I wanted another pair of Clarks as I already own the Wallabee boot and they are a staple, cute and different. These ones didn't do it for me so I sent them back.

Had these shoes when I was little and had to get a pair when I saw them. Very comfortable and size is pretty true.

Buy a size smaller! I thought the six would fit at first but these shoes stretch out a lot! I had to start wearing 2 pairs of socks! But I bought the other color in a smaller size and they were a bit tight at first and now they fit my feet perfectly!

I love the look, but if you wear it all day, the sole of your foot will kill you the next day!

Finally! I have wanted this shoe forever and finally bought it today. I immediately put them on and walked for several hours around the mall. They are fairly true to size, but if you are a half size, I would go down to the smaller size. They also slip in the heel quite a bit, but I got used to it and it doesn't bother me too much. Very comfortable, very stylish! I am extremely pleased!

Not for Narrow Feet. I've been wearing the same pair of Wallabees purchased from Zappos for about a year now. The foot bed is very comfortable and the shoes have held up well over the course of frequent wear. However, my narrow feet slide around in them and I can't seem to ever get them tied tightly enough. I really want them to be a lot more comfortable than they are.

My Clarks experience - Have loved the comfort and style of these shoes for a long time, my entire family…the only problem is the adhesive in the sole (where the foot is) released the inner lining. Never had this happen before... your group quickly and efficiently made it right with a new pair that are as usual... GREAT! Thanks for the work that you do to keep customers happy.

Comfortable Shoe - I purchase these in recently in the leather beeswax color. I must agree these shoes are comfortable, with an exception of your heel slipping out in the back. If you wear a thicker sock and practice walking in these shoes, you will be okay. Look wise with it being real leather, you get your usual mark ups on occasions, but with a little cleaner you will be okay also. Overall this is a great shoe to wear worth your jeans, going shopping, or work. And Zappos gave the greatest service you can ever get on from online.

Good sturdy shoes - I've had and worn these shoes for about eight months and *finally* they are feeling broken in. My main complaint is that the toe box is extremely narrow (in proportion to the wide heel) and it's taken a long time for it to stretch out. Also the sole is very thick and because there is little ankle support, these probably aren't good shoes for people who tend to turn their ankles easily. All in all, they're good shoes, but for the price and being Clarks, I had extremely high expectations which they didn't quite meet. They are getting more comfortable by the day and I expect them to last for decades, though, so I'm satisfied, if not over the moon about them.

I've been drooling over these shoes for quite some time. After reading the reviews I was positive these would be perfect for me. Sadly, I was so disappointed! I got the beeswax color - the minute I slipped these on, I noticed my toes made the leather change color as I walked in them, all the spots my foot stretched the leather changed from medium brown to light brown. The shoe felt a little loose when I walked in them, but fit fine. I wear a size 10 and my feet looked so wide and the toes looked so narrow, they were hideous. I'm returning these.

Clarks Wallabee Review - These shoes feel a little larger than a size (6). They slip up and down on my heels. The tongue rubs the top of my foot when walking, so these shoes are not comfortable like I thought they would be. To tie them tighter does not help either!

I am very disappointed. I LOVE the way these shoes look. Unfortunately, they do not fit right. I tried a pair on in the store, one fit great but the other didn't. I decided to order a pair, but they didn't fit any better. I have never had a problem wearing shoes. I just wish these fit right! I have been wanting these for a few years, and finally just bought them. I will try them again though!

I am so bummed to say that I tried this shoe both in a half and whole size smaller and neither worked. Maybe it's my foot? Shame, as it is adorable.

This is a really comfortable shoe (guess that's why it's a classic). Runs a smidge big, but it's fine with thicker socks. My initial thought was that they look a bit Amish with the black on black and square toe, but when I put them on with jeans and a black patterned shirt, they were PERFECT!

This shoe was looking so fly I loved it but unfortunately it was too small like a whole size smaller than my size and I ordered the size I normally wear.

Size ran 1/2 size on the small size. Very strange because I also ordered the wallaby boo Annette ran 1/2 size larger on that type of issue issue is 1/2 size smaller

Wallabee always wins. Feels great.

I lived in Wallabees in the 60s and 70s, when i switched to running shoes and ran for years. So when i saw Wallabees on Zappo's site, i was thrilled. The comfort factor is first and foremost. They also look good in the color i ordered--black. In the old days, i only wore the light tan! If you are on your feet all day or walk a lot, try Wallabees. If you need arch support, pick up some in your pharmacy, but you may not need them. I don;t and all my other shoes have arch support. Somehow, the way Wallabees are made makes that a moot point. These come in an ankle boot version as well, for both women and men. Be ready for limousines for the feet!!!
