These boots are great! This is my first pair of Docs and I love them. I much prefer this look to the stupid riding boot trend going on right now. Also I normally wear an 8½ to a 9 and I ordered the US size 8 in these and they fit perfectly. I love the purple color too. These boots just rock.

Receiving these boots in less than 24 hours made me almost giddy with joy, knowing that I would have three solid days to break them in before a big European vacation. They do fit true-to-size but are roomy enough for thick socks! It did take a few days to get them to not feel like torture chambers but no blisters, just had to get used to the higher boot length. They are perfect for hiking and I felt cool enough in London. I know that everyone is wearing skinny jeans and knee high leather boots BUT I love the patterning on the leather and find a lot of my wardrobe coordinates with it. My 21 year old kid greeted me in Ireland and immediately complimented me on them. Oh, and people kind of just smile at me; I think the boots send a general message of happiness! Just buy them, you know that you will love them!

I bought these for my daughter to wear with a very beautiful ballerina style dress that had a tulle skirt to her 13th birthday party. It was a Glam Rock theme. My daughter loved them with her dress! They are a very rich blue color that has a hint of peacock in them, but they are well made and the leather is beautiful with a slight sheen. They are calf length boots with a narrow circumference, which was perfect for my daughter, because she has very thin legs. I was just excited that they were delivered the day before her party and worked well with her glamorous dress. Zappos always delivers over night and they never disappoint! My daughter said that they were comfortable as she did have them on for six hours for her party. Thank you, Zappos!

I love these boots! The color is gorgeous. I wanted something that wasn't an "in your face" purple and I was pleased to see that these are nearly eggplant in color. I have muscular 17 inch calves and had trouble getting the 20I to lace up all the way but these are just perfect. They are a wee loose around my ankles but it's not a problem. Breaking them in so far has been easy and relatively short even though I've only worn them a handful of times.

Amazing yummy purple color, instantly comfy, delivered super fast! As always, highly satisfied with the Doc Martens product and Zappos superior service!

I completely love these boots! The color is sensational and the fit is terrific. Although I need to wear heavy socks with them. If I could afford it, I would buy them in every color.

Most comfortable Docs I have ever owned! Just love them. The fabric upper is so flexible and cozy. I wear them with skirts, jeans, work pants! Get so many compliments every time. Love, love, love them!

These boots are more peacock blue than navy. Which means they have a slight teal undertone. That being said, I get more compliments and requests on where I bought these. People love them! As I do. Comfortable. You can wear them totally laced or untied and just zipped. The perfect boot from the perfect store!

I ordered Dr. Martens 1B99 W in oxblood color. It looks amazing! Consider stylish dress/skirt because these boots are outstanding and require corresponding clothes. The only disadvantage is the time it takes to lace them up; takes 5 extra minutes in the morning to get ready.

Nice details on the east meets west gray swirl design - Quality, design, and stitching are great. The non design light gray segments are faintly pearly/iridescent and a crackly texture like old paint. My calves are short and not exactly thin so the top hits the widest point of my calves and just makes it. Whew. Keeping them.

Love them! Just got rid of my old boots of 15 years. LOVE these! Comfy and stylish.

Comfy and Sassy! Besides meeting my expectations of the quality and comfort of Doc Martens, these have got to be the cutest boots ever made! It's impossible not to feel cute and sassy while wearing them.

Love Em!! I got these for Christmas after eyeing them for months and I absolutely love them! No disappointment here! They are super comfy! With some of Docs I own, the top tends to chafe a little but these do not whatsoever. I can stand, walk, and work in them for hours without any discomfort. Not only that, but they are so unique and different that I get many compliments. They can be dressed up a bit with a skirt or worn as regular with jeans – so versatile. I am in love!!!

WONDERFUL! The fabric is soft & very comfortable. Can wear them all day, without getting blisters on the heels like some other Docs I have. I get tons of compliments!

very particular but trendy - These boots are very particular but at the same time classic. They are very comfortable and the zipper on the side is very handy. Warm and soft on the inside. I love them and got very good comments on them.

Awesome - These boots fit great, nice for a larger calf. True collectors of docs may not appreciate that they are not made in England, otherwise look excellent.

Awesome! They arent that comfy...but add some Dr scholls and you'll be good to go. They look so awesome too!

Adorable, but... The boot printed in tan, orange, and other fall colors is very cute and very loud. These shoes will wear you, n my humble opinion. Also, I'm not prepared to break them in. I guess Dr Marten's are just not for me.

I bought these for my daughter for her birthday...I would really like to keep them for myself! Since I have may pairs of Doc Martins, I feel comfy completing the review.

Gah! I wish they still made these boots!!! 10 years later and I'm still wearing these. I had to take them in to get the zipper repaired after about 8 years, but I will do anything now to keep them alive. I STILL get compliments on them when I wear them. 10 whole years later!
