This is my second pair of Sperry Topsiders. I'm as satisfied with this pair as I was my first pair, purchased over a year ago. The shoes are perfect for casual wear and will not fall apart even if worn while swimming in the ocean. In fact, despite my hammer toe, these shoes were able to be worn upon delivery and once I got them wet and wore them until they dried the soft supple leather formed to my feet and I have worn them every day since. I'll be ordering a second pair, soon.
One thing, I noticed others comment on the lack of arch support; these shoes will conform to your feet with wear. The lack of initial arch support has never been a problem while wearing these shoes.

This is the most comfortable shoe I own. I wear them outside, on my boat and around the house as slippers. Quality and fit are excellent. I like them so much that this is my third pair. Note: pair number 2 is still going strong but I fear someday they'll discontinue them.

these shoes are excellent; they are functional, timeless, classy, really comfortable once you break them in, even more so than the gold cups in my opinion, and will honestly pair well into any wardrobe. I've owned a pair of gold cups and Ao's, they're both great but in the end these are more durable, they are just as stylish, and they will last you longer than any gold cup could

My wife bought me these boat shoes in amaretto for Father's Day to replace a very worn pair that I already had. As soon as I put them on, they felt comfortble. I plan on using them to do a lot of walking on our upcoming trip to Europe. The only negative thing that I could say about these boat shoes is the eyelets. They are a very bright tacky gold in color and stick out like a sore thumb! My wife wanted to send them back but I said no. Both of us feel that they could blend in with the shoe more.

I bought my first pair of navy blue Sperry Top-Siders some years ago, and clearly am still a fan. Unlike the older pair, these have a more pebbly texture to the leather. I was a tad skeptical about that when I read the description, but when they arrived, I was quite pleased. I like them in dark blue because it's a nice variation on the usual brown. I wear socks as infrequently as possible in warm weather, and these shoes are definitely comfortable without them. Try 'em, I bet you'll love 'em as much as I do.

These are great shoes...black is not an easy color to find. They are soft but sturdy, I wear them mainly for traveling internationally, so the slip on/slip off style is perfect for running through airports and taking on and off at US security, and slipping on/off during long-haul flights to get up and walk around. They have held up very well, a couple of years now that I have had them. They look stylish and are very comfortable. I am now on the hunt to see if Sperry makes this exact shoe in other colors, like a dark brown with a dark sole!
