Initially, I was satisfied with these shoes, but quickly became disappointed. There is absolutely no support in the arch and the shoes have no “structure”. Very flimsy, they are more limp than a pair of bedroom slippers. Very disappointed with Sperry for selling such an inferior product.

These may be called Authentic Originals, but they are not the shoes that made Sperry famous. These are cheap Chinese trash. The leather is thin and flimsy and the styling is K-mart quality. They are supposedly boat shoes, but after one week around the water they looked ten years old. If you want a good Sperry boat shoe you're going to have to buy the Gold Cup for megabucks.

The shoes where very scratched up and definetly worn. I am very dissatisfied, I bought them for a gift . Will certainly return them.

I have owned many sperry topsider boat shoes and this pair is not up to the standards of past shoes. I wonder if they are counterfit. they are to short and narrow for size 13 wide.

Although we ordered the 3E extra wide, it was much too narrow. A phone call confirmed that there is only one extra wide width--no matter how wide was selected on the order!

I wear a women's 11 AA (narrow) and wanted to order a Sperry top-sider in white or cream - which weren't available in women's - so I decided to a try a similar size in men's (10B, where 10 is close to a women's 11 and B is a narrow for men's). The shoe was a little long, indicating I should have ordered a 9 1/2, but the deal-breaker in keeping them was the width. Unfortunately, the men's narrow was still too wide for my narrow women's foot. I'm posting this so other women who might want to try a men's narrow know it's likely still going to be too wide. There are no super narrow men's widths to equal a woman's narrow size.

Don't buy Topsiders if you have a wide foot - They have stopped making a wide width which is a terrible problem for my son who is an E or EE. I purchased the medium but it did not fit.

Good shoe, feels true to size, but stretches after a few uses.

I have worn these shoes for no more than two weeks and the soles feel like I have been wearing them for two years! They are so thin I can feel every rock! I will NEVER buy these again.

I have rocker bottom flat feet and can't tolorate any arch support at all. These sperrys are perfect for me as they have no support under the arch. Like walking barefoot, so these are the only shoes I wear now for many years.

I've worn these Topsiders every year since I bought my first pair 47 years ago as a crew member on my first racing sailboat. They have never disappointed me once. I wear them until my feet are poking through to the pavement and am forced to trade them for a fresh pair. I usually have a burial a sea for the previously faithful pair. Sperry Topsiders are the most consistently manufactured shoes that I have every worn. This new pair wears just like my first pair. I hear that God wears them too. I plan on being buried in my final pair so me and the Big Guy can go sailing in the clouds.

Leather will stretch after break in period.

I was billed for these shoes Sep. 28, and a lace broke Oct. 17. I’ve worn Sperry Topsiders for years, and can only vaguely recall one other lace breaking on very old shoes, not brand new ones. Makes me wonder if margin squeeze results in Zappos receiving inferior product. I’ll be hesitant to purchase through Zappos again.

Really well made, very comfortable once they break in which doesn’t take that long. Supple leather feels great.

Ordered these shoes at 5pm on Thursday and received them the next day by 11:30am...Fantastic delivery! The shoes are top quality and fit perfectly true to size. The black color was rich and the material was soft. Perfect for the beach as well as out and about. They are after all boat shoes. I didn't find them to be be cheaply made, it's the brand I like. I've had my older pair of Top Siders for four years now and I still wear them. They never became loose or frayed and I wear them just about every day without socks.

Outstanding shoe! With a high arch and wide feet, I typically don't wear loafers as they tend to rub at the heels. These are the exception. The leather is soft, so they fit like a glove...and feel like slippers. I don't even wear my slippers anymore, because these are so much more comfortable.

My husband has been wearing these shoes for years and years. He finds them to be very comfortable. It's so easy to buy him a new pair via Zappos! Also, when adding other things to the order, that aren't tried and true, if it doesn't work out, Zappos customer service is the best. Returns and exchanges are free and easy.

I ordered the black and white Top-Siders for a weekend vacation to Omaha to go with an outfit. I was extremely happy with the speed of delivery (I ordered them the Monday before I departed and received the product by Wednesday). I wore them the whole weekend and enjoyed them! Upon returning home I was inspecting the shoes a littler closer to clean them some, and noticed that the stitching on the bottom, which is supposed to run along a seam in the footbed had missed that groove. I was nervous that this would cause them to wear out much more quickly due to wear on that stitching. I called Zappos customer support and could not be happier with the results! The process was quick and painless! The customer support representative was nice and extremely helpful! She processed my return and shipped me a replacement pair that arrived the next day! I will never buy shoes from anywhere else again! This was a truly wonderful experience!

I always go to Zappos before I use any other site for ordering shoes. It is a pleasure doing business with you even when I have to make returns. These specific shoes turned out to be perfect for my son who has to wear wide shoes due to his leg braces due to Cerebral Palsy. Sperry makes quality shoes. It was great to be able to find normal shoes that he can wear! The narrower comment is due to the top stitching being a bit tight for the instep but we were able to stretch them.

I went with some of the other reviews and got half a size smaller than normal, assuming getting my standard shoe size would run a little large. That was not the case for me. This is a true to size review here. I had to return them for my normal shoe size. I only ever have to size down for dress shoes. These look like. rocking shoes. They are a sort of perfect blend of casual and professional. I love them in black. I love Zappos.

I recently purchased Sperry Top Siders from Zappo and am very pleased with them as well as the great service I received from Zappos. I intend to be an ongoing customer. Bob

The top-siders are a classic and are great shoes overall. My only complaint, because I wear them barefoot, is the insert feels a little grainy on the bottom of my feet. For a shoe style designed to be worn without socks, that's a slight oversight that can be forgiven.

Get a new pair of these every year or few years, depending on the wear, and I love them. They're comfortable, durable, and can go with just about anything during the summer.

Excellent choice for summer use. My husband loves these and we got them for both our sons. The youth version is just as nice, great quality!
