95% of the time Top Siders are the only shoes I wear

Sperry Topsiders have been my go to shoe for 37yrs, until this last pair. The previous pair wore out after 6 years of daily wear so I went to buy a new pair. The store did not carry 12w so I ordered them in-store. When the shoes arrived they were extremely narrow. Every pair of Sperry shoes I have purchased previously fit like a glove from day one. Managed to stretch these out enough to wear uncomfortably since the return costs to me for a problem with QC are ridiculous. The insoles came unglued within a week and one of the eyelets separated from the upper 2 weeks afterwards. A year later and the soles are failing too. These have been the worst pair of shoes I have purchased in the last 10 years bar none.

I have been trying to buy these shoes for over a month with no luck. Any idea when they will be in stock?

One of the eye holes has already popped out after owning the shoes for two weeks. Very disappointing. Not the Sperry originals of old.

My 15 year old son wore them for one week and the soul came off of the front of the shoe within a week.

I have had multiple pairs of Sperry's and have always been confident in the style, long term use and workmanship. All confidence is lost. After having a pair for 6 years (and they're still completely wearable!) my newest pair lasted under 60 days! And I only wore them for about 12 days during that time. The threading and sole completely failed after casual use. I hope this is an anomaly but my confidence isn't there to pull the trigger on a new pair.

I've been buying the original Topsiders for over 40 years. Over the last 15 years, I've settled on 11W - fits perfectly and expands just right. I just buy the same size, same model, sight unseen. BUT, my latest purchase didn't fit at all !!! I actually traced out the soles of my 6 year-old shoes and the new ones - and the new ones are 3/8" narrower and 3/8" shorter. Both "11W". So, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. None of my local retailers carry Wide in stock, so I have no way to test other sizes. SO DISAPPOINTED.

Like imagine wearing boat shoes. They look tenable and don't look good with socks so 1 star for this garbage.

I returned the subject product due to stitching on the sole not being taught and creating a loop under the shoe. I have requested a refund. Thanks.

I ordered these in the usual size I order my wide shoes in and they were quite snug at first but the recommendation is that you have to wear them a bit to break them in before they'll fit properly. After wearing them quite regularly for a few weeks now the pain has somehow gotten worse (maybe they loosened up in some spots, but not in others), to the point that I can barely even wear them around the office without severe pinching and pain. The width in the midfoot is fine but towards the toes it gets very, very narrow, so right across the spot where my toes connect to my foot is where all the squeezing is focused. Since they're broken in that also means I can't return them. If I knew this is what I was in for in a "wide" shoe I would have never ordered them in the first place.

I purchased these shoes a few months ago for my wedding that just happened this past weekend. I wore them for the ceremony and took them off for one specific picture. My shocks and bottom of my pants were died red from the amaretto shoe. I do not want to wear these shoes at all for fear of ruining other garments. I am very disappointed and wish I had not purchased these shoes.

The part above above left toes was scratched and had a possible tanning flaw. Returned without using.

Bad

I had bought these shoes for son at Christmas. He tried to wear them today for first time with the warmer weather. The leather shoelace broke on the initial tie. It is impossible to replace shoelace without taking to show repair store. Very uhappy!!

i have topsiders for decades, same size. I ordered the same size and it is way too narrow! I need to know what size my current mens 11 M should be. I want to reorder.
