Bought this for my son since he's been looking for the perfect Topsiders. I wanted the exact pair for myself, but hey didn't have smaller sizes in these (mens 4 or 4.5). Anyway, he loves it! It is what Topsiders represent--classic summer preppy polished casual look. Sizing is awesome, and he is picky, he will not wear anything not comfortable for the sake of looking good. Well, this one ticks off all the boxes for him (and me!). Zappos even expedited delivery, so, so nice!

They fit great and look great. You can make little micro adjustments if you need too. I'd recommend breaking them in while wearing socks.

My husband was very happy with this gift. He has a wide foot and the wide width I ordered fit perfectly.
The shoe is comfortable and very sharp looking in the powder blue.

I buy these shoes when I want shoes for casual work that are also suitable to wear to dinner. When they are worn I use them working in the garden. These are my favorite because of the wider with. On the older shoes I do have a little tying the laces, they become a little stiff after being wet a few times.

Wonderful shoes! Soft supple leather makes it comfortable from the first time you slip them on. Plus, having it in black allows you to match it the other half of your wardrobe and almost, yes almost, makes it into a "dress" shoe.

No Surprises, here. It's the shoe you wore in high school in the 80's and 90's with board shorts and long hair. As usual, breaking these in while sock-less might bruise your feet and/or toes not because the leather's stiff, or the shoe is tight, but because -if you're like me- your feet haven't walked on boat shoes in a while. Totally worth the temporary inconvenience. And at least in NYC every other stylish guy is wearing them (though theirs may have the built-in wear and comfort that comes from thrift store or hand-me-down acquisitions) so it's a "comforting" thought, no pun intended.. My suggestion: This is the one pair of shoes that don't look silly dangling from your hands, should your feet or toes require a break from your new Sperrys on those long walking days out. Pull up to a park bench, or sidewalk cafe and enjoy conversation and something cool for a spell. Roll up your trouser legs while you're at it. Sperrys were made for a casual lifestyle. Chances are it'll look intentional and very hip.

This shoe has been a long-time favorite. The fit is true to its sizing. Looks good with shorts or with casual khakis. And, of course, great on the boat.

I have to say that I am a fan of the boat shoes with no socks. As a matter of fact, that's how I am wearing them right now. These were the perfect shoes to bring in Spring and Summer. I put insoles in all of my shoes, but I do have to say that the break in period was really short (shorter than my Docksides). These shoes are really comfortable and pretty versatile. I can wear them to work and in the park along the lake.

I got the shoes for my husband's birthday. Because he's a size 15 we can only buy his shoes here at Zappos! They were a perfect fit. The navy matches everything. They are even better in person. If you are looking for a good boat shoe, this is it!

My favorite shoe in the world - I wear them every day (they don't have good arch support, but I don't care). My only complaint is that since my last pair of Top-Siders, Sperry has decided to paint the eyelets black (they used to be brass). The only reason I can think that they would do this is because they wanted the shoe to be more differentiated visually from the gold cups (the gold plated eyelets looked fairly close to the brass eyelets).

Love these! They are super comfortable, and look really good! Just be sure to get about 1/2 to a full size smaller than you would normally wear in a sneaker, as they do stretch out a bit.

Top-Siders are the next best thing to going barefoot. I own several pair and these have soft leather that doesn't need to be broken in. I don't wear them with socks.

What can I say. Simply a classic. It is exactly what is is and always has been. A perfect weekend shoe. Easy to wear. No fuss. Takes a beating. Fits well. Please excuse me though, I do wear socks. Lame, I know. Also have in several colors combinations and in suede for winter. Given the price, its easy to buy multiple pairs.

Like most of the other reviewers here I absolutely love them. They go with a wide variety of outfits and are comfortable as all hell after breaking them in. One thing to note is that the Sahara is a lot lighter in person than in the picture (which I happen to like more). Also, the laces are a bit of a pain at first but are fine after a few weeks. I've heard that wetting them helps them break in quicker.

So I got these Sperrys in the different shades of blue with white. I get so many compliments! Because it's so rare to find the limited colors on Zappos site.
