I bought these on a whim - I've been looking for a nice summer shoe that is different from the Pumas I always wear, that were a little sharper (yet still relaxed). These fit the bill, for me, to a T.

Great shoe. Love it that it doesn't have an inner sole insert and nothing comes loose with wear and moisture.

Accurate sizing, great summer shoe! Also the typical lightning fast delivery from Zappos!

Color is exactly as pictured. Sperry's sizing is same from one shoe to another which is good for me (size 13M). They fit like most 13M from other brands.

Great shoe. I use them practically daily, I am ordering again because they are starting to look worn, not nice enough for dressier occasions. This is because of me, but no worry because these become my mess around in shoes. They are perfect in usefulness, not even close to worn out. I highly recommend these shoes if you like deck shoes. Been wearing various types of deck shoes for 30 years and have gone through all quality, types. These are up there in quality and value. I have a very high arch and these were very comfortable after a day or two of breaking in. Moderate arch support.

I've worn Topsiders for years and the more you wear them, the better they feel. It's surprising really as there doesn't seem to be anything to the shoes except a sole and leather uppers but they are comfortable especially barefoot. I introduced our teenage son to these and of course he laughed at first wearing the old man's shoes. He now has a few pairs and loves them like I do. What can I say?

I want to address the top critical review on this shoe. The New Navy color of this shoe comes in a tumbled/peppled leather that Sperry calls "vintage". It is much softer than say the Classic Brown color. I have a pair of AOs from the 80s and did a side by side comparison. The new shoes, regardless of where they were made hold up to the old standard. The Leather was of identical thickness. Personally I love how the New Blue is so soft, absolutely no break in necessary. I don't think they will hold up as well as my "Old Browns" but it is a different leather. I do not for see my new shoes having to stand up to the shenanigans I put the old ones through ( me being older, if not wiser ). I just had to add my two bits, not many shoes are still wearable 30 years later. Props. Sperry, well dench.

Two big problems: First, all of my previous Topsiders never slipped or skidded on smooth floors. For some reason or another, the left shoe constantly slides and slips on all smooth floors and even on outside surfaces. Second problem: I just noted today that the entire sole of one of the shoes has split completely in half. Given both of these problems, I am going to order the higher priced Topsiders as replacements. As someone else reviewed, these are cheaply Chinese made.

Zappos has one of the most well designed web site I have seen. I have had a pair of these shoes for 20 years. I was trying to find them again and going to Zappos made it so easy. I had my original shoe right on the desk while I surfed their site. I found them, I bought them, they fit perfectly. Zappos descriptions are totally honest. For example they described it as Authentic Original and it was. This style of shoe is a classic. There were many styles very similar to this one their site, but I knew I had nailed it when they said: Authentic Original. My one caution to you would be to make certain you are on the correct page for men or woman's styles so you order the correct size for your gender. Other than that - have fun. Great site with top quality shoes. I was not disappointed at all.
