Jack Purcell - These shoes are the best! I have a pair in pink.

These shoes are a lot like normal Converse, but a bit comfier. These are very stylish and I love the metal shoelace tips.

Better than Converse All Star - I was originally looking for a pale pink Converse All Star-but came across these Jack Purcell's. They are way more comfortable than the All Stars - and the color is very cool as well (it is almost like a denim, washed out kind of pink- hard to see on line). I live in NYC and have never seen anyone else with a pair of these...very original and cool!!

Untitled - Can't find these shoes anywhere except at Zappos. Good style overall, although they do elongate your foot. I already have big feet for my size but with white shoes, you really can see how large they are. I would have gotent the Chuck Taylors but they don't have the colors I wanted.

The shoes are cute but a little small in the toe area - This shoe will go with anything and are adorble. However I did have some probablum with the sizing of the shoe. I had to return it because the size 8 1/2 felt like a size 9, so I order a size 8 and they fit nicely but they are small in the toe, a little uncomfterable if I were socks with them.

Very positive - These shoes are great, unique in simple, HELLA COMFORTABLE!

Comfort fine, but style changes diminish classic appeal - I really don't like the changes made from the classic design. The material doesn't seem as sturdy, and I don't like the color as much as the original blue. What's up with the metal lace tips! I like Purcell's as an inexpensive, simple, comfortable shoe. It seems like they've tried to jazz this up just to jack up the price.

They are overall nice looking but... I bought the white ones, when I first received them they were 2 different colors, gave me blisters, very tight, as time progressed and I attempted to wash them one of the shoes turned a slight yellow while one stayed completely white. Although Zappos is great at shipping and customer service.

If you don't have the smallest feet, these are not the shoes to get. They totally elongate you foot. My parents laughed when I showed them. They are marginally supportive, comfort-wise. Not impressed.

What happened to Jack - The original Jack Purcell that was comfortable and durable is a shoe of the past. The shoe has now been modified using cheap materials that diminish the comfort, durability, and styling.

LA loves Jack Purcell - I love these shoes, but the color of the pink shoes wasn't what I expected - it's a washed out, heathered, color that resembles a grey sweatshirt dyed pink instead of a true pink.

Looks Can Be Deceiving. First of All, Zappos is Excellent on Customer Service. EXCELLENT!!! Unfortunately the Shoes are not what I remember them to be. It seems I remember the bottoms being very smooth. There not. They feel too Snug, and makes your foot look too narrow and long. I'm totally unsatisfied with the Shoe But would definitely use Zappos Again.

Jack Purcell - It is not as comfortable as the one's from back in the day. It was the first pair of tennis shoes that I have ever bought that hurt my feet. I don't care for them at all.

JACK AIN'T HAPPY - Nike has turned a once proud company into a bargain basement brand. This shoe was a quality item when it was made from heavy duty canvas instead of flimsy fabric like now. Yes the shoe does feel better comfort-wise but the old Jack was a better overall shoe made of sturdy materials. I understand why Nike plans to quit making this shoe, they completely messed up the whole idea to save a few pennies. To sum up: WATCH OUT CHUCK ITS YOUR TURN NOW.
