I have been a loyal fan of these shoes for the last 12 years, purchasing 4 pairs a year. They have been my "go to" stabilty shoe and I am disappointed that they are not updating the website with new colors for Fall 2019. According to Armando from their online team, they are not offering any addtional colors than the "Umber/Black/Hawaiian Sunset". Looks like I will need to find another brand...

I worked in my XA Pros until I finally wore through the mesh on the sides. I covered hundreds of miles through forest, swamp, mud, sand, rivers, and mountains, never on trails. So why the 1 star? The color selection now is terrible. Absolutely abysmal that I can't even buy a new pair of my favorite shoe, and I wear these shoes when I'm working alone in the wilderness! I wish I could give zero stars.

In the last 2 years I used 2 pairs of regular XA PRO 3D and they always eventually tore up at the sides because they weren't wide enough, so I was really happy when I found this Wide series and I purchased a pair of them. But unfortunately I'm really disappointed with them because they are NOT wider from my old pair (that aren't wide) and maybe it's even a bit narrower because after a few days of use I got blisters at the side of my foot which never happen to me before so I guess they are narrower... I will not buy Salomon again and will make sure to spread the word that they are not what they used to be and it's too bad because 2 1st 2 pairs I really enjoyed and used them on a daily basis until they tore up...

I got them as a present from my daughter, they fits me well, at the begining they were great because even when the grass was wet in the morning my feet were dry, till I star getting them wet, i look at the sole of the shoe at notes it star coming a part, I wish the company has some kind of guaranty and replace them.

I bought these and was holding on to them to wear a lot this summer while I wore out the old pair. I only wore them a few places until recently, but now the Plastic has come through the heel area, again. This is the second pair! I bought the current pair while still wearing out the old pair. The plastic on the old pair dug into my heal and I had worn them quite a bit and hoped these would be different. The padding needs to be better or plastic must go.

Cela fait prs de 10 ans que je suis fidle aux XA PRO 3D, au rythme d'une nouvelle paire tous les ans. Je ne leur trouvais qu'un dfaut : ne pas durer plus de 1000 km. Je viens de racheter une paire les yeux ferms, j'aurai d les essayer en boutique !! Le chaussant a manifestement volu avec la nouvelle dnomination (mountain trail -> trail running) : le 46 dans lequel j'tais trs confortable est dsormais bien trop petit. La bande lastique sous la languette apparue il y a quelques annes, qui enveloppait le cou de pied et constituait l'intrt MAJEUR de ce modle, a disparue ! C'est une norme dception. Cette bande avait notamment pour effet d'empcher le pied de taper contre l'avant de la chaussure en descente. Par consquent je ne suis pas surpris par les commentaires faisant tat d'ongles noirs et autres blessures. Pourquoi, mais pourquoi diable faire voluer une paire tout simplement parfaite ? Je la retourne illico, et me rsous partir en qute d'une nouvelle chaussure de rando, avec une infinie tristesse, et le mince espoir que Salomon revienne la prcdent mouture la prochaine saison.

While I like the grip and how comfortable these are, the fact that they are advertised as waterproof and yet leave my feet wet after a short walk through wet grass is inexcusable.
