I love these shoes! I had a pair back in high school and getting this new pair reminds me they are as wonderfully classic as I remembered. Perfect pair of sneakers. Versatile with lots of outfits. Plus, as always, Zappos shipping was incredibly fast. I highly recommend!

Great shoes but they run quite big. Had to go 2 sizes smaller than what I usually wear.

Let me start off by saying that I have never ever left feedback on any site in my life and I make tons of online purchases. I ordered these in a size 8 from Journeys and they were too small. They wanted 8 bucks to return them and then another 8 bucks to ship me the new pair in an 8.5. That's just crazy so I came here and ordered them around 7p.m. and got the free 4-5 day shipping. They came the next day! I was blown away. Free shipping and they were delivered to my door in less than 18 hours, that's insane! Thank you so much Zappos! You're amazing! I love the shoes too, I had an old pair that I ruined by trying to wash them and put them in the washing machine and drying them in the dryer, not a good idea.

When I was a kid, we called these "Chucks". But I have flat, thin, skinny feet, and Chucks were not kind to me. However, I still love the look! I took a chance on these, and they were so comfy that they went straight from the box to vacation, walking all over the place. I am no spring chicken, at 55, but they still look great with my knit dresses, skirts, leggings and tunics, etc. Now, nobody has an excuse to pass on these. They are comfy, and can be styled however you like (no cocktail dress, I'm afraid, but pretty much everything else).

It is just the best sneaker I've ever bought. Very comfortable and beautiful. Looks good with jeans and shorts.

Actually order these on my uncle's behalf. Every since he's put them on, he's been raving about how much he loves them and how comfortable they are. Even said he plans on ordering another pair of two.

Great casual sneaker. What more do you need me to say? If you have ever worn the Converse Chuck Taylor, then you will like this sneaker.

Love the retro look! They're a tiny bit rough on the pinky toe and heel, but since they're canvas I'm hoping they'll soften up with some wear. Right now I'm using some moleskin for protection.

Perfect summer sneakers. Very cute with dresses and can be worn with anything! I wore mine to a wedding and got many compliments. Keep in mind these run very narrow in the front. I normally wear a 8.5 womens in Chuck Taylors but I had to move up to a 9 in Jack Purcells. They do fit true to size but I believe these shoes were designed to be worn without socks hence the narrow design.

A great summer shoe. Much more comfort and support than the classic cons. Jack Purcells have a special insole that gives them a little more arch support and some added comfort.

Great shoe, love it. I wear a mens 9 in regular Converse and 10 in these.

Very comfortable and stylish looking. The metal aglets on the laces are a nice touch, too. If you have wide feet, you may need to go half a size up. I normally wear 11.5 E shoes, size 12 D in these fit great.

My husband loves these, and they look so great in the summer! They do, however, run a bit big - he usually wears a 14 and the 13 worked fine.

I've worn JP's for the past few years as my go-to, subtle fashion accessory. they pair well with 501s, chinos, or shorts. the insert alone is cushiony and supportive and could probably be sold on their own. I wore these for a couple weeks while tooling around Vietnam (tons of pavement walking mixed in with jungle here and there), and I didn't develop a single blister or any muscle stiffness. And this is coming from a guy who has balky knees and hips. This is pure comfort. Don't let the casual appearance deceive you.

Cute, classic and comfy! The new design with the extra cush is amazing! I walked around Disney World for 3 days in these and they were the only shoe I own (and I own a lot) that could have done it. One day in my running shes and I ended up with blisters, I was saved the next day when I put my feet back in these babies. I highly recommend these, in fact I'll get another pair in white and the blue ones too.

I ordered these because I needed a cute pair of sneakers that wasn't a pair of gym shoes. These are comfier than Chuck Taylors and not as expected. They look great and people always comment on them.

Love 'em! However, it took me ordering them a couple of times to get the right fit, because I followed the previous reviews. I always order regular Converse shoes 1 full size smaller, but a lot of people said to order the Jack Purcell a 1/2 size bigger. This did not work for me at all, and the final proper fit came a 1/2 size smaller than my regular shoe size. I have pretty normal sized feet, not wide, nor narrow. Just wanted to let those with regular feet know. :)

My first pair of Jack Purcell's and I have to say I'm pleased. Great classic look that will wear well with shorts, jeans & khakis. I normally wear a 10.5 which is what I ordered. It was a perfect fit. Thanks Zappos for such great service!

I've always been a huge fan of Chuck Taylor's. I've had back problems for a few years now, and I couldn't handle the lack of cushion in those shoes. I bought these after reading that they come with their own insert, and I'm glad I did! These shoes are great. I plan to buy the black ones as soon as I have some extra cash. My only (very minor) complaint about them is that the "smile" on the shoes are different sizes. Would have been nice for them to match. The metal aglets on the laces are a nice touch. I love Jack Purcells. They are comfy and cute with almost everything.

It takes a few days to break these in and you might suffer from a blister or two, but after that they are perfectly classic.
