Love it! I had been looking everywhere for this shoe and finally decided to try this site for the first time and I am completely impressed by the site, the shoes, etc. The shoes feel great! They look great with a pair of jeans or casual slacks and they have that retro feel that I wanted without a steep price tag. They are comfortable but after all day your arches can feel a little tired since there is minimal arch support compared to athletic shoes now.

Great alternative to Chucks - Great looking alternative to the Chuck Taylor All-Stars--I've been wearing Chucks for 20 years but wanted to try something a little different. These fit the bill--same great classic canvas look with a bit more comfort. Be advised that there's no need to "size down" as with Chucks--these run true to size.

Love my Jack Purcell tennis shoes - I wanted the retro Converse look with comfort. The Converse Jack Purcell gave me both. A fun shoe for knocking around in that goes just about any wear.

Super comfortable - So much more comfortable than my Chucks! They felt a little big - about a quarter to a half size bigger than marked. I was too impatient to wait for the smaller size, so I wear them anyway, and it works out fine.

Stylish alternative to the All Star - Love Chuck Taylors but wanted something a bit different. These Jack Purcell's fit the bill. Surprisingly padded and well made. These shoes fit right in to my rotation. Get yourself some.

These are possibly the best shoes I've ever owned. The size fit pretty good and seemed marked as ordered. The look was great, but at first there was some chafing on the back of my heel. After awhile it stopped. These are the best shoes I've ever owned I recommend them for anybody.

Amazing - I love them. They’re exactly what I wanted. But make sure to get a half size smaller then your normal shoe size. :]

This shoe is pretty much the same as it's always been (i.e. super-cool), but now it has an insole with some support and the shoelaces have a cool metal end-thingee instead of the plastic kind that falls apart and makes the laces fray at the ends. These are a good choice if Chucks are a little too ubiquitous for you. I said that it felt true to size, but it's probably more like an eight or a quarter size larger, but not a half.

Awesome shoe - This brand of Converse is very comfortable to walk and stand in. I love wearing them and will probably be buying more Purcell's.

So cute and comfy - They're great! Very cute, and more supportive than Chucks.

Just what the doctor ordered - I'm not a lover of running shoes. They make your feet look like small boats. I had a pair of the JP's years ago and liked the overall comfort. These "improved" JP's are so much more comfortable. When I intend to go sockless (the best way to wear these), I always buy a half size smaller. These fit very nicely and look ma, no blisters! If you're looking for a cool looking non running shoe, this is an excellent choice.

Same great style but comfort is much improved. Converse has really improved upon the original with these new Purcell’s. The tongue now has some padding so you don't have to worry about it sliding to the side of your foot and the rubber on the soles seems better as well. Overall I'd say they're pretty darn comfy and look good with all your gear.

Classic style, improved comfort - Before owning a pair of the slightly more expensive J.P.'s I was under the impression that there was no difference between the two versions. They look the same, but trust me, the difference is massive! In the extra money you are buying the ability to walk an extra couple miles. These are great shoes.

Comfy and cute! I ordered these as an alternative to the All Stars as I found those had no support whatsoever. These are very cute and now have additional cushioning so they are comfortable to boot! I only wish they came in more colors! They fit perfectly right out of the box. No break-in time required.

GREAT SHOE! My first pair of Converse is this style. I love them and the look goes with most anything. Hip and comfortable and I am happy I bought these.

Better than ever - Had owned a pair a few years ago, and liked the look and fit, but comfort was not great. New padding and interior finish now make them way more comfortable.

Great shoe - The only problem with the CP version of this shoe is that the insole is very thick. This makes for a cushioned, comfortable shoe, but the thickness tends to crowd my toes. I often wear them sockless as a result. Unlike many shoes, they are comfortable to wear without socks. The nickel shoelace ends look nice, but cause the laces to come untied because of their weight. In a sea of Chuck Taylors, these shoes stand out.

These tennis shoes are great - I find these shoes to be great fitting comfortable shoes and would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent craftsmanship-Kurt Cobain loved em' To all you people who are counter-cultural geeks, this is a bit of trivia for you. This shoe is worn by numerous celebrities including the late Kurt Cobain and if that isn't good enough for you then I don't know what will be. Also, this piece of illustrious shoe craftsmanship gives the aura of ultimate poverty and for you people who are broke or Boroque like the music then this shoe is for you. This economically laced rubber and metal rivet concoction is an excellent addition to the monetarily challenged individual. Also, with it’s ever ambiguity it creates an aura of I don't care which fits most twenty somethings, who just want to rock out. (These people are of course myself included in the mix). So, have fun, buy them, consume less and enjoy more.

Love this shoe - The white is so bright. They are a very comfortable shoe. They run a little big. The soles are kind of thin. But they are very comfortable even still. Don't need to break them in. I walked around New York all day without any discomfort. They are great with jeans. A great alternative to Vans.

Blast from the Past! I just love these shoes. I wore them as a kid and they are still as fun, hip, cool, and comfortable as they were back then.

This shoe is awesome...I've been wearing Chuck Taylors for over 20 years-not the most comfortable shoe, but loved the vintage look...But these Jack's are tremendously comfortable and they look great...very vintage!

Hail to JP - Love this shoe for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Converse has improved the shoe over time. I love the new colors. Keep up the good work Converse and I'll continue to support your ageless classic, Jack Purcell.
