Perfect casual shoes!!! I am an athlete/tomboy who mostly lives in flip flops and sneakers when not at work. I normally wear Asics Tiger Onitsukas, Pumas, or Adidas but saw this pair on someone and thought they were really cute. I got them Friday afternoon and wore them to a party/bbq that night and was totally comfortable all night (until almost 3am on my feet the entire time). Definitely recommend these! I wish they had them in red! I got them in a woman's 7 (I am normally a 7.5).

LOVE MY JACKS!! I LOVE my JACK PURCELLS!! They are cut big, so get a half size smaller. Mine are actually a women’s 7.5 and usually wear an 8.5 and sometimes an 8 but never a 7.5. I have the white ones and plan on getting the black next.

Love these shoes! I wore these every day for 3 weeks on my vacation and they are great. Very comfortable and perfect for city treks. Zappos is awesome - It was a last minute decision to get these and I was able to get these in a day just in time for my trip. I am definitely buying another pair from Zappos when these break down. They run a half size smaller - I normally wear a 9 but had to get these in a 9.5 for a perfect fit.

Good shoe - A very comfortable, casual shoe. Other reviews said this shoe felt a 1/2 size too small, but I did not find that to be the case.

I feel that this is a great fitting sneaker. It is also able to be worn with multiple types of clothing. The order was fast and efficient, I would recommend this shoe Converse has been around a very long time, they are true classic shoe.

Very Comfortable - Some months ago I developed severe lower back pain, which after days of care and treatment only got partially better. I tracked the source of the pain to a couple of things one being the heel on my regular sneakers that I wear when I am out for a casual outing or running chores. I reluctantly ordered these on the advice from the kids in my family - reluctantly because I believed these are worn only by kids and young adults. I was wrong - I now love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable - I almost feel like I am walking barefoot, with none of the discomfort of walking bare foot outside. The benefit of wearing these shoes was immediately evident to me. The first time I wore these I returned home from my usual weekend chores and I wasn't feeling the normal pain in my calves that radiated to my lower back. At first I wasn't sure if the benefit was due to these shoes, but the relief and comfort was evident every time I wore these. I love these sneakers - they have helped me rid of my back pain - they are not only very comfortable, they also look fairly nice. I almost got the regular Converse sneakers, but some how they looked awkward on me - then I found the Jack Purcell's and they looked much nicer. Also, just order them in the size that you wear in your regular shoes - don't go a size up or down. I first got a pair that is one half size smaller and I can only wear them comfortably without socks. Also - Zappos rocks. Their service has been very good. I have bought a few shoes from them since I got the first Jack Purcell's and there is never any delay or quality issue. Their return service has also been very good.

Great summer sneaker! I am very happy with my new white Jack Purcells! They will be a great summer sneaker. The arch support is better than regular Converse (I don't think I will need inserts while I definitely need inserts with my Converse). I like that they are all white with the small blue line on the toe. Very classy sneaker!

Sporty shoes - The shoes fit to size. There is little padding or arch support, so don't plan on doing rigorous activities. But for a clean, classy look- these guys are it. I did buy new shoelaces. The original laces are a little long and flap around. Get white 43" laces for a buck and you are on your way.

Cute shoe - Bought these for my daughter; typical Converse shoe. Comfortable and look good.

Still great shoes after all these years! My new Jack Purcells are as great as they were when I first bought them years ago! They are the essential bop-around-town sneaker providing comfort and hip style! They run a bit on the large size, so I would order a 1/2 size smaller.

Style and Comfort - Great Shoes, Very Styling. A true cut above the rest… by the look of the laces, sole, and toe, people will know you are wearing designer shoes. I have really flat feet and these are very comfortable. ***** 5 Stars!

This shoe is so much more comfortable than Chuck Tailors. If you like the look of the Chuck, but want more comfort, go with these. They are an amazing shoe. The size may be about a half off, but I can't really tell anymore, since so many shoes don't really offer the same sizes.

Great shoe, great Zappos - Shoe was as it looked online. I was very pleased and will wear this shoe out I am sure come spring/summertime. Also, as usual for Zappos, service was outstanding. Free shipping and the shoe came days earlier than originally promised. Yay!

Awesome! Very comfy, arrived the next day! A smidge more expensive than other sites, but totally worth the timeliness!

LOVE IT - Stylish, comfy...what else do you need?

I've been wearing Jack Purcell's for nearly twenty years - These are classics and always get lots of compliments! They look great with really wide leg pants, with skinny jeans, and with short with no socks. They hold up very well, with the exception of the cloth lining on the inside of the heels, which always gets worn away long before the shoes wear out (same as Converse high and low tops). There is a little arch support, but it's not great. I may try a pair of those little arch inserts, as I don't think a full insole would fit very well.

Love these shoes! I have been looking for the perfect canvas classic sneaker for a few years now when I saw these on Converse web site. Got them in and have worn them every day since! My jacks have gotten compliment after compliment, are comfortable with/without socks, and have quickly turned into my favorites!

Cute and comfy - A great look for spring with jeans, shorts, skirts or dresses...anything that you want to look casual and be comfortable with.

Amazing - The only pair of shoes that I keep buying over and over! So classic and preppy, I absolutely love them. I'm glad Zappos has them because I have a hard time finding them in stores.

My children like Converse - They are a good shoe for casual style and all around use. My children always want a pair of Converse to go here and there with. They do say they are not for sports. They do not seem to give them the support of feel they want for active sports.

I so wanted to love these shoes. I’m looking for a good-looking shoe I can walk in, for a trip next spring to Ireland. I normally love Mephisto, but the elastic criss-cross straps were too tight. They cut into the top of my foot. I had to return them. Everything else about the shoe was great - good support, good traction, a cute look. What I needed was another 1/2 inch of elastic.

Great shoes - Nice looking, comfortable, would recommend to anyone.
