Keen Shoes - This shoe is good for almost anything. You can even play sports in them. I like them because when I do my route in the morning it keeps my feet warm.

Worth every penny! These are my favorite shoes; even though I just got them today. If I were to design a pair of shoes. these would be my basis for inspiration.

Keen's Bronx Mesh - With my plantar fasciitis condition these shoes provide cushioning to the heel and fairly good arch support. The cushioned removable insole is seemingly forming to the shape of my foot after five or so wearings. With the style and design of the shoe with the wide toe box even in size 11.5 does not make the shoe appear like you are wearing boats. I have not had the mesh unravel yet as some are saying but if it does within the next month or two either the merchant or Keen is going to hear about it. Complaint: The tongue of the shoe does not stay centered. After wearing the shoe only for a short time the off centered tongue makes the top of the shoe uncomfortable on the top of the foot. Keen should have built a gusseted (attached at the sides) tongue into this shoe or provided an area on the tongue for the laces to go through. The tongue of the shoe is not attached to the shoe other than at the toe area. I am considering taking the shoes to a shoe shop to see if they can come up with and idea to get the tongue of the shoe to stay centered. Overall this shoe is great and has provided plantar fasciitis comfort. I can wear them for a seven hour day without feeling heel or arch pain though my condition is presently considerably better than it was in which I hope these shoes will aid in regulating my heel pain. The shoe is flexible and does not feel heavy on the feet. I am going to tape off the rubber areas and apply spray water repellant since I did find that the suede is not repelling even light rain. I have the Keen Newport H2 sandals in men’s size 11 but I had to go to a men’s size 11.5 in the Keen Bronx Mesh shoe.

Keen Bronx Mesh - One of the most comfortable shoes you can wear. Durability of the "mesh" is somewhat questionable, but overall the shoes are great!!

That new-shoe smell... I had tried to buy these locally, but no one had it in my size. I love the shoes, but I have to say, they have a strong new-shoe smell. It's like chemical nylon type of smell. I sit at work with them on and I can smell my shoes from under the desk. I presume it will wear off, but it's strong enough to prevent me from wearing them as often as I'd like. The fit and comfort are excellent though. I wear 8.5's comfortably in other brands, but the 9 was a more appropriate fit for the Bronx Mesh.

Form follows function- Having just received the Keen Bronx Mesh in "steel" color, I find them very comfortable right out of the box. However, the clog-like, stumpy look has me contemplating returning them. Yet the thinking behind the unconventional form of these shoes appeals to me. It is rare that the outward form of a shoe has much resemblance to the true form of the foot. Most shoes have superfluous volumes and shapes that have more to do with tradition and fashion than comfort and functionality. The Keen shoe design looks to me like a product of form following function. I admire them for that. So I will keep them. I think my aesthetic sensibilities will grow to think of them as very handsome shoes. A side note: The shoe that Zappos shows as Keen Bronx Mesh "steel" is not the same as the shoe I received. The sole and the shape of the mesh panels are different. The shoe I received is the same as the Bronx Mesh "fuzz" but in the "steel" color.

Keen Bronx Mesh - I own 6 pairs of Keen's, however I would say that the Bronx Mesh is my least favorite because out of the box, they were not as comfortable as the others. Zappos service is great and as with my other Keen's, I found ordering a 1/2 size larger was the route to go.

Looks & Feels Great, but buy 1/2 size larger - This is my second pair of Keens, the first being Newport sandals. The craftmanship and uniqueness of the shoes defends the price. I'd read reviews saying the Bronx ran 1/2 size small, and didn't believe it, but it's true. Thanks to Zappos' no hassle exchange policy, I'm still a happy customer.

Keen Bronx Mesh - I'm a big fan of Keens, especially since I am from the same town as the creator. I started with the Newport Sandals (perfect summer footwear) and then picked up a pair of the regular Bronx for work. The leather Bronx are a bit thinner in the materials than the Mesh, but this could be because of age. So far the Mesh Bronx are very comfortable, but they feel a bit "puffy". I expect this is because they are brand new, and this is the only thing keeping them from getting 5's all the way. A great shoe non the less.

Liking the Keen Bronx Mesh - These are great light comfy shoes. I love all the room for my toes and I really like the look as well. I wish (a little) for a little brighter look and I really wanted the Bronx mid, but these are still fantastic.

Re-inforced rubberized toe is great ! Pros: Good styling for this model (I thought some other Keen models had a "Dutch Wooden Shoe" look to them. The Bronx Mesh has some of those styling cues, but not as severe). Re-inforced rubberized toe. Good fit and finish. True to size. Good breath-ability with the mesh side panels. Good traction in all conditions. Cons: I am not used to wearing "low" cut shoes so my ankle bones feel exposed when its cold outside. I bought this shoes because I liked the styling and the re-inforced rubberized toe. I scuff the hell out of toe part of my shoes and I thought this extra protection would help extend the life of the shoe. I have owned this model for about a month now and I am very happy with the shoe. The rubberized toe is great. No scuffing at all!!! The shoe is also very easy to clean. Usually, just a damp rag is all that's needed to removed dirt or mud and get the shoe looking like new again. I am very happy with my choice and will buy this brand again. I am currently looking to purchase a Keen mid-top.

The shoe I been waiting for! Finally found a pair of shoes I like! Great style and comfort. I wear a size 11.5 and they are wide enough to not look too long but not so much that they look awkward. I have had the sandals for about 2 years now and they rock, held up great and still look cool! I expect the same longevity from these...

Nice looking, but not very durable. Bought them from zappos.com, and I was super excited to wear them. Most immediately I noticed is the worst part about the shoe - the laces... they’re not designed to be tied once. Can’t go more than 15-20 steps without laces coming loose, no matter how hard I tie them. Absolutely have to double knot, and I end up with this bulky ugly knot that I have to finagle to untie. What a pain. Side mesh is not durable, starts to fray after a dozen wears. Soles are durable and shoe is comfortable. Don’t get me wrong, I own another pair of Keen shoes, and I love that pair, but this here is all style, no substance. So be warned... buy the solid leather versions instead.

Looks better in the picture. I received the shoe very quickly as Zappos is the paragon of customer service. The shoe itself looks like a shoe for clowns once it gets on the foot. Perhaps in another color it may look better, but the chestnut/bark shoe was handsome only until I put it on. The shoe felt a quarter size smaller than marked, but was very comfortable. Had the shoe looked better on me I would have simply traded up for the next half size up. If I were 15-25 yrs old, I suppose the look would work. I was sad to have to send them back, but I did trade up for the Lisbon’s, which look a whole lot more refined and fit great. This is my first pair of Keens and I am happy with the manufacturer overall.

Keen's Bronx Mesh - I own several pairs of Keen shoes. The Bronx has been the most troublesome. I returned my first pair after a month because the heel padding separated from the shoe. The second pair lasted about a year before the padding started to separate. The mesh is frayed in many places and coming loose at the stitches. I love my Keen shoes they are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned.

Beware! Bronx Mesh Problem - While overall, these are one of the best shoes I've worn-lightweight, durable, very comfortable. However, the mesh sides are poorly constructed and will begin to fray within a few wearings and will develop a hole in the mesh/suede seam-particularly near the front end.

Nice Shoes but mesh falls apart - I bought these shoes specifically for a trip to Costa Rica because I knew I'd be doing some hiking. The shoes are very comfortable and look great. However after only a few days of wearing them, the mesh material near the ball of my feet began to fray. I'm going to try to return them for another pair of Keens.

Mesh Frays - I have the steel gray model, and I loved them. About six months after I bought them, the mesh began to fray and get fuzzy (and this was after only occasional wear). I thought they must have been a bad pair, so I called Zappos who kindly exchanged them. Now, six months later, they're doing it again. It's a shame, but these shoes just don't hold up.

I wanted so much to like these shoes, but... The tongue pushes down so hard on the base of my toes that it is very painful to walk in them. These shoes are extremely cute and I have a pair of Keen sandals that I really love. It broke my heart to have to return them. Although otherwise they fit, I may try a size larger to see if that makes a difference, but I think it just may be the design and/or my high arch.

Heel Blisters! I used to love this shoe style. This is my 4th pair but recently Keen changed the material in the heel. The material used to be cloth but this new leather-like material never breaks in and causes terrible heel blisters. After two months of attempting to break these in I give up. Both new pairs are going back.
