I got these for use on our boat - they have terrific traction, don't mind getting wet and are super easy to slip on and off. Having the strap for times when you don't want to lose them is key. But being able to push that forward when you just want to move around your immediate environment is a nice alternative. My only complaint is that my second toe on one foot tends to fall just right into the drain hole - I wish it was slightly to one side or the other, but that is really my anatomy and not the fault of the shoe...
