Satisfied Customer - From the time I put these boots on it felt like I've been wearing them for years. Very durable and the sole can handle the most brutal conditions. I usually buy Wal-Mart slip on boots but Dr. Martens are the way to go, you will not be sorry. I wear a size 9 so I ordered a size 9US and they fit perfect. Thank you for the great service Zappos, I'll be doing business with you again.

Excellent Service - Like the others say, these boots run large. I wear a US 9.5 and ordered the US 9 and felt a size and 1/2 bigger. They sent me the smaller one without having to exchange the larger boot until I tried both on. Excellent service, great boot. I will recommend to everyone.

Comfy- These are very comfortable shoes, almost like wearing slippers. I find that I can wear them all day with feeling fatigued. They seem a bit wide, my foot feels like it's swimming in the boot, particularly the heel, but it's not uncomfortable. Style-wise, they are fairly cool but not super cool.

These "Docs" are The Bomb!!!!! These boots are out of the box comfortable. They did feel a about a half size bigger but, I had taken the advice of others bought some insoles and they fit like a glove. These will truly be my new favorite boots.

Comfiest, coolest boots EVER- The BEST Docs yet. Wore them all day at work and to a show (standing for three more hours) the first time I put them on. Zero break-in time and no dead-foot. Plus, they look smashing. These boots rule!

Gotta Love Em - Glad I took everyone's advice and ordered smaller! Do love the way they feel and look... Hey it even makes my foot look smaller than usual! If you are from the south or the hills and only take a bath on Saturday night.. then be warned you will have back rings where your socks don't cover your legs...LOL

Excellent boot... I ordered this boot Friday night and got it Monday morning. Excellent service from Zappos once again. I wear a size 10 shoe and ordered this boot in size 10 and it fits well. It's loose but it's not because its the wrong size but rather this boot has some extra room up and down for your foot to move. A thick sock fixes the problem pretty well, I'm going to try a gel insole though and see how that works. The boot is made very well and looks great, just like the pictures. I'm pretty thin so I have to pull the straps as far as they go so it looks kind of funny and sucked in but I pull my jeans over the boot anyway so no one would even see that. I'd recommend this boot to anyone, if you buy it during the sale it is a great deal. Hard to pass up.

Dr. Martens's 2B63 Series - I love these boots! I bought them in brown also. I will wear these all year long. I am a half size, so I expected for them to be slightly bigger, but nothing that socks can't remedy. The black boots will stain your socks and rub off on your leg, but that will stop after a while. I am a huge Dr. Marten shoe fan, they feel like slippers to me and these boots are no exception. I have a hard to fit foot and I need a larger "toe" area. These boots are perfect!

Nice boots - Great boot, sturdy, comfortable, looks like picture, No problems placing or receiving order. They are actually about a half size too big becase they don't come in half sizes so I just put a nice Dr. Scholls insert in them and they fit nice. None of the stores in Minnesota have them either so I get to be special HA HA. They are wide too which is nice for my duck feet.

Harley-Davidson riders take a "LOOK" Great riding boots! Super comfort, great fit, I truly like the fit, style, and good name of Dr. Martens. US size is one full size smaller than the UK marked size.

Great boot - Mostly very comfortable, although the top rubs my leg a little. It's a bit loose at the top, even after I tightened the buckles all the way, but it still looks good. The inside dyed my legs black, and it took a few days to come off, but that's getting better the more I wear them.

Doc Marten's sold by Zappos - For over 15 years I have purchased Doc Martens boots for work and casual wear. I have had to shop from store to store to find Doc Marten's boots in either my size or particular style. In the past I have had to order the boots that I prefer and the wait ranged from 3 days to a week. The purchase I made at Zappos.com had the boots to me within 24 hours and the right size and model. I would rather purchase future boots from Zappos.com and avoid the malls or catalogues, period!!!

Very nice - As mentioned by everyone else, buy one size down. The boots felt really loose around the ankles when I got them out of the box. So, I put on thicker socks and added a better insole (it definitely needs the beefier sole). Then it felt too tight! But, no problems. The boot has started to stretch and mold around my feet. It is starting to fit like a glove. I commute to work on a motorcycle and the boots feel great and don't slip on oil and those slick white pedestrian lane lines.

Nice Boots!! Let me start off by saying that these boots are VERY nice, the picture is spot on, they look exact in person. Super comfortable and real rugged. The boots are however about a full size larger than marked. I am usually a U.S. 9.5, I ordered the U.S. 9 and they are still a little big. Nothing a thicker insole can't fix. If you are an even size then I suggest going down a size with this boot. The Zappos service was excellent, ordered the boots at 10:00pm and received them the next day at 11:00am, I am on the east coast.

Fav boots - These boots are great! I use them everyday. They're my new favorite shoes.

Travelin Girl's favorite boot - Great make: heavy treated leather, solid boot for riding, for rain, for studio work. Love 'em. Look cool. A must have for any radical girl with lots of interests. Only problem is that I always get stopped at airport security (course, that could just be me...)and I can live with that.

Very Cool Boot - As advised I went a size bigger and the boots fit great. Comfort you would expect from Dr. Martens and an awesome look. I wear them to ride the bike and also at work for up to 9 hours at a time and they are alright on the feet.

I bought these for wearing while riding my Harley. Damn they look good. I've got some fat feet and they were difficult to pull on at first but are much better now. Felt good once they were on though.

Great boot, simple style, looks great with ANYTHING. I ordered a whole size smaller and they fit, even with a thicker sock. I do wish they had a loop in the back to help pull them on.

Dr. Marten's continue to be a shoe you don't have to break I - Ordered the biker boots for riding. Bought the boots and took them on a 6 day trip 3 days later. Comfy right from the start. Ordered the same size as my other doc's. Seemed a bit big but a slip on will always have some movement. Insoles did the trick. My husband liked the boots so much, I ordered a pair for him. Ordered a size too big and Zappos made it easy to return and re-order and we had the new size the next day! If you have a wide foot don't be afraid of this boot, he wears a EE shoe and regular width a size up was perfect. I love Zappos and will probably never shop retail for shoes and boots again!

Dr. Martens still making the best boots ever - These boots look great and wear well... I have a 94 Harley Dyna Wide Glide and these boots work great as motorcycle boots as they are advertised! I would highly recommend them as they are comfortable and tough as nails!

These boots kick butt! These boots are extremely comfortable, more so then any other Doc's I have owned. I ordered a size smaller than I usually get ( I wear an 8 in women's and I ordered a 7) after I read other reviews stating the same thing. They just beneath mid-calf, with the upper boot being pretty soft.

Dr Martens "2B63 Biker Boot" - too big for me - Ordered the UK 9 - way too wide (I know I have a narrow foot), and just a bit too long. Other Docs seem to be a UK 10 for me (although width still a problem). Boot looks nice, and well represented by Zappos online graphic. As usual, return to Zappos was easy.

Very cool! Very good looking boots. Very comfortable. As some of the other reviews stated, I added cushions to 'fill up' the boot, plenty of space inside. Although, I don't feel the boot is too big, seems like there is just too much space inside...(If that makes any sense...???)
