Snake boots - Several people on my hunting crew have these boots. I found them to fit according to size and they are very comfortable. The quality of workmanship is great.

Buy these!!! NO BS!!!! I hunt in Natchez, MS which has plenty of rattlers. These boots are so light and comfortable I truly forget I am wearing boots and not sneakers. I ordered a size larger because I like to wear thick moisture absorbing socks and I have no regrets. No blisters just total happiness.

Crocodile Hunter needs a pair too! The last time I wore these boots was during a night time safari. I felt extremely safe. They have amazing calf support also. If you are more than 2 hours away from a dose of anti-venom, I would recommend getting a pair of these boots. If you are an hour or less from a fully operational snake bite trauma center, then you could get by with just flip-flops. The only thing I can say negative about the boots is the greenish color is had to coordinate with camoflaged clothing. Nearly all of my camo clothing has the pattern of mulitple colors. These boots have only one shade of green on them. That being said, enjoy!

A Boot Worth Having All Year Round - I love my new Chippewa "Vipercloth" Snake Boots. They get broken in right from the start.I wear mine often. They get looks, and great comments wherever I go. I've had a number of people ask where I bought them. They love the looks mainly. But once I tell them why they're called snake boots, and really do serve a purpose, they're sold on wanting a pair. I live in Virginia where we have all types of snakes & critters. I feel safe walking around the farm, woods, and anywhere else I happen to go. Zappos is the best place to buy your boots.

Great boots - The perfect boot for hiking in areas where vegetation scratches a lot--where you would need gaiters. With these you don't, very comfortable.
