Great shoes -
These are very comfortable shoes that needed only a small amount of breaking in. I've always been happy when buying Ecco shoes in the past - they are both durable and comfortable and I'm always able to get my money's worth of use out of them. The sizing is consistent with Ecco sizing but I find Ecco shoes run a little larger than other brands.

Very comfortable out of the box. Modern style. I had a pair of Eccos from 3 years ago and these are much lighter and wearable. They do feel a full size larger and I had to return a pair but Zappos was great with the exchange. I may stop buying shoes in stores all together.

Century Tie-
A fine shoe, but stiffer and a bit less comfortable than my first pair of Eccos. The front part of the shoe curves up a bit more than I would like.

Great Shoe - Except For Wear -
I'm familiar with the ECCO brand and reputation for quality, so I was disappointed when my new Eccos wore so poorly. Within a month or two, the nose/tip was extremely scuffed and the stitching between the sole and the shoe was fraying. I guess I'll go back to Kenneth Cole. At the price of the Eccos, I expected a lot more.

Didn't work for me - arch support...
Didn't work for me due to the arch support and length. They run larger vs marked - so I ordered a size down which worked for toes, but pressed the side of my foot at the front (but was good on width for the heel and instep).

Nicely made, not comfortable -
These are obviously high quality, beautiful shoes. The details are exquisite. HOWEVER, I put them on and the praise stops there. The insoles are contoured, which should be a plus, but the contours are in entirely the wrong place. There is some overly firm padding directly under the toe that bends your foot backwards very uncomfortably. I would also like to ask, where is the cushioning? The insoles are very firm, shall we say? And the sizes are a full TWO American sizes off. Plus the difference between size 43 and 44 is approximately an inch inside! Very disappointing for me since they really looked nice...
