Best Shoe Ever - I love this shoe!!!! It is the most comfortable thing that I have ever put on my feet. I love they way that they look and I do not even skateboard. I just bought two more pairs that way I have them for when they wear out. I love them.

This shoe is well worth it - This shoe is very lightweight, therefore making it very comfy. However, it did need a little extra time to break in, but you'll get that with a lot of shoes. ALSO, on the tongue of the shoe there’s like a velcro pocket that you can’t see because it is on the side that touches your feet, WHICH IS VERY AWESOME! I thought that was cool! So yes, I definitely recommend this shoe.

Very Pleased - My son wears a size 14, which is very difficult to find. We had searched many sites before we found Zappos. We placed the order on Wednesday and had the shoes by Thursday afternoon, without paying extra. We are very pleased with the shoe as well as the service we received form Zappos. I will certainly use this site again!

Great shoe - It took about 1 day of wearing to break in and they feel great on my feet.

Amazing skate shoes - I’m currently on my second pair of these Contra DVS shoes because they are the best shoes to skate in. Also they take a while to ware out, which is good because the grip tape on my board always wares out my shoes. If you do not skateboard, these are also really good shoes to walk in. I highly recommend these shoes.

Damn good shoe! These are "damn good shoes". The DVS Contras with their wide body fit make your foot feel like it is wrapped in a secure blanket of comfort. If you plan on going on ridiculously long walks, these are the shoes.

My second pair of the Contras. My first pair have lasted me about a year and a half. And they weren’t my shoes to begin with. I wear shoes for years. Until the bottom drops out most times. And this Shoe is the best at keeping things together. Hopefully in a year or two, the same design is still around.

Awesome - I bought a pair of the brown ones and they are great skate shoes. The high abrasion ones look like they would last long so I’m getting those next.

DVS Contra - This shoe makes the board feel like a feather. It has excellent looks, arch support, and comfort. Me and my friend both have DVS shoes and we love them!

My 14 year old son's shoes...... My son is growing very rapidly, as are his feet. We purchased a pair of Nike shoes for 110 dollars for him, had them sized a fitted at a shoe store in the mall. We ended up giving them to one of his friends, my son only wore them once. So I went to Zappos.. ordered the "always fit right shoe". The DVS is a great shoe, fits well holds up well to everyday were and fits on the money. My son wears a size 13, and they fit true to size. Thank again for the great company and policies you represent.

There my sons - All I can say is he loves the shoe, the style, comfort, and so on, and owes like three different styles...

Sweet shoe - Although I was originally looking for the DVS Hudson, I was pleasantly surprised with the clean look of the white version of this shoe. My husband loves it and looks hot in them!!! Apparently, they are a bit padded in the tongue (to accommodate the hidden pocket), so you might want to order a half size larger than you would normally.

Cool - Great skate shoe, it lasts long, and looks great! But a little disappointed with the comfort.

DVS Contra - What is there to say about these shoes except...that they are one of a kind...very comfortable and the inside lace protector is a nice touch.

I LOVE DVS - I loved the look of these shoes online, but let me tell you they look amazing in person!! They're really comfortable. They come with a big DVS sticker and key chain. The shoes also have hidden pockets inside them. They're pretty dang cool!

I got the black and white high abrasion and they are awesome. A little stiff at first but broke in well. Just had back surgery and these really took a lot of pain from my legs caused by the surgery. Recommended... but I wish the stash pocket was zipper and not velcro.

Best shoe ever - Look great, true to size, and feel great. Can take a hard beating on the jumps.

Best shoe's ever. These shoes are amazing...like seriously. This was my second pair of DVS shoes and I've loved them! They’re super comfortable and they last extra long! They are super-great shoes. Buy them.

DVS Contra - This is a mad awesome shoe!!! One of the best I've ever skated with. One thing that makes this shoe excellent is the "secret" place to lace up your shoes. Because of the triple stitch toe panel, kick flips don't stand a chance with this shoe. AND THE SHOES ARE MAD COMFORTABLE!!!!

Most comfortable shoes ever - I am an over-50 adult. I have been wearing DVS skate shoes for many years. They are very comfortable and very durable.

Shoes for skater son - My son loves DVS shoes, these seem to last longer than other brands. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever owned.

Sweet shoes - Skaters these shoes rock! You can Ollie and heel flip great in these I have the solid black and gum outsole ones (on the first page). I will always recommend DVS shoes because they skate great!!!

Great – These are awesome. The internal lacing, the toe cap, everything.
