I didn't dislike it but found a Brahmin wallet that I really like better. The magnetic clasp grabs everything. It's a really cute wallet and very roomy. It would even be a great little clutch, just didn't need it for that purpose. Thanks Zappos for being so great about returns! That's why I always buy from you if possible!!!

This is not as functional as I thought it would be. There are many spaces to put items and just more than I needed/wanted. Good leather and craftsmanship, though.

I needed a new clutch to carry my money, essential cards, id, and iPhone 6 plus (huge!). This clutch was the best option for what I needed, and I knew that Hobo has quality products. I loved the water color pattern as it brightens my grey/black outfits Mon-Fri.

First, I will say that I ordered this wallet in "aqua vintage," which is displayed as a gorgeous light blue, and this color was the reason I was convinced to purchase the wallet. The wallet I received is a light green, not a light blue, with a multicolor lining, not a beige lining. If anyone else buys it because they love the blue color, be warned. The aqua is pretty, but I find the multicolor lining to be odd. I thought the style of the wallet was one that would work for me, because I have a wallet that I bought several years ago at Walmart (for $10) that was this very style and also leather. The lining was actually prettier. I used that wallet until it was worn out. But, while this wallet is not quite as I hoped, I put my cards and money, etc, into it and decided to keep it. However, if I thought that if I returned it I would actually be sent the blue one in the photo I would return it. The wallet is nice, but I like the blue color better.

I love this wallet, and I am replacing my existing one with a new one. My caution is...the lining in the mint colored wallet is...unfortunate. It is white with purple, mint and orange circles, hearts and stars. It is more appropriate for a six year old girl's wrapping paper than an adult wallet. I'm returning, but will get another Hobo Lauren!

This is my second Hobo wallet. They last forever and really are great functioning wallets. I normally don't spend this kind of money on items like this, but it's worth it for the quality. I ordered the jade, and wish they had picked a different interior cloth design color than the red swirls... my last one was tan interior, and that was much better looking. Other than that, I'm very happy.

This purse was sent to me in terrible condition, all scratched and beaten up, as though it had been used and returned once. I was disappointed in the quality of the service from Zappos on this, and frustrated by the time wasted in ordering and having to return the item.

I like this product. Love the colors (goes with brown, black, beige, white and cream). However, although it’s leather, it feels like plastic. Also, there is a big zip pocket between the two sides when opened flat. So far I haven’t found anything that could be put in it and still close the latches.

This is a great wallet but one big fault. I bought the quilted hobo Lauren in fog. It's a bit of vintage flair but yet modern enough to tote around anywhere, even in my diaper bag! All compartments are useful as I've put in cell phone, keys, iTouch and all my wallet necessities in here. I can just grab it out of the diaper bag and go. The one fault is the magnetic snaps are rather strong, so be careful as it may demagnetize credit cards!

Hobo International Lauren wallet - This is a different style wallet than I normally purchase. I like the wallet but would like it better if it had more card slots. I don't have a lot of credit cards but didn't realize how many other cards I keep in my wallet until I cleaned my old one out (i.e. frequent flyer, insurance, business, athletic club, etc.)

I like large wallets to use as clutches. This one won't hold very much at all; the size is deceptive. If you put more than credit cards and cash in it, the magnet won't keep it closed. The black patent with red lining is gorgeous, very classy. I want to keep it for its beauty, but I'd never use it; it's just not functional. Alas, my search for a beautiful leather, functional clutch continues. Thank Goodness for Zappos' awesome customer service and return policy!

Beautiful, but color not as shown, and looks dirty and used. Has dirt marks on edges. Disappointed. =(

The Aqua Vintage leather wallet is NOT the color that is pictured! The picture shows a baby blue color. It could not be more wrong! Very disappointed

I bought the Hobo Lauren wallet in garnet. I wanted to love this wallet, and really did, except for the color. It looks more like pink than red. I had to return the wallet, but wished it had worked for me. I may try another color.

I loved this wallet when I first got it. The color was a little off from what it looked like online, and not even one year of using it, the inside started to fall apart. For the amount of money I spent it was not worth it! I was hoping to get at least 3-5 years use. My "Hello Kitty" wallet that I bought very cheaply at icing has lasted me over 10 years. Save your money and buy something else.

Zappos is excellent and I am obsessed with Hobo, however, the leather is separating from the frame on my wallet. I believe that I purchased in January and for the price and reviews would have expected it to last for much longer. This will not stop me from making future Hobo purchases, but you may want to bear this in mind.

I had been coveting a Hobo International wallet for a long, long, LONG time before I finally decided to get one. I’d heard so many good things from people I knew who had and loved them that even though it’s a lot more than I normally pay for wallets, it seemed like it would be worth it. This wallet is a lovely golden-orange color with a really cute paisley lining fabric in a complementary tone. People notice it when I pull it out and I’ve gotten compliments from strangers on it! For me, it doesn’t work as well as I would like it to. I carry a LOT of cards (credit, bus pass, rewards cards, membership cards, etc.) and there just aren’t enough slots, even doubling up the cards. I have to stuff them in the side pocket, which isn’t convenient to get to. And the hinges on the side pockets open fairly narrowly, meaning you can’t pry the "jaws" open wide enough to actually see all the card slots, especially if you have something in the side pocket (e.g. receipts). I think it could also use more internal organization, like a double billfold slot so you can easily separate cash and receipts. As it is, I feel like I’m just shoving things in there loosely, which is NOT what I expected for what I paid. Although one of the major benefits I saw was that I could pull this out of my bag and take it with me as a clutch, I haven’t had an occasion to do that yet. But I do notice it is VERY heavy in my bag and has made my bag weigh quite a bit more on my shoulder without really adding that much benefit. It’s very cute and I still like the style and color, but it’s not the be-all and end-all that Hobo devotees claim it is.

I have this wallet in orange and thought I loved it. The design is very unique or at least it was when if first appeared, but I had so many problems with the magnets demagnetizing my cards it was beyond annoying. Also, the leather stains easily!

Didn't like the "vintage" leather... felt cheap. Nice styling. Very strong magnet (had my doubts). Hate the interior fabric of all the Hobo Int'ls; they make the item look cheap. Along with the exterior leather, I thought the price wasn't justified. If this was Coach I would have paid triple the price and been extremely happy with it.

Retro chic! It's easy to see why there's a lot of buzz about this bag. It's unique. You won't find anything else quite like this hybrid purse-wallet. But in trying to be both, it has made a couple of compromises. It's rather flat and sleek. As a purse, it's hard to fit even your most basic stuff inside without spoiling the look. A cell phone and/or keys, for instance, will cause visible bulges, though after the bag stretches out, they become less obvious. As a wallet, it's very large and heavy to carry around inside another purse, though the organizational components are well thought-out. The bag feels very comfortable in the hand and the look is just gorgeous. I have it in Pearl, a color that's now unfortunately hard to find. Pictures never do this stunning color justice. It's not white, but a warm, creamy ivory with a subtle iridescence. I love it with jeans, with black, you name it. I recommend the Lauren as a purse or an evening clutch only if you can pare your junk down to the barest essentials -- or just get some really flat stuff! As a wallet, I prefer the Diane. It has a similar look but won't take up as much space inside another bag. Hobo quality is excellent. I have been buying their bags since they have been making them, and I still own a Hobo double-zip wallet that I got as a gift in 1994. Though the Vintage Collection bags (like this one) don't hold up as nicely as the Milanos, any leather wear adds to the character.

Oh, how I loved this wallet. It broke today. I thought for the price it'd last longer than 1 year. Sigh.

I found the leather too floppy to function effectively. The latch also did not function smoothly like my previous Hobo clutch (which was amazing!)

I have a love/hate relationship with this wallet. Love - it's very stylish, exceptionally organized and doubles as a clutch. Hate - I have the Fawn color (light beige) which is beautiful but unfortunately it is not wearing well at all. I often toss it into one of my many Hobo handbags and the lining from the Hobo bags have discolored the bottom corners of my Lauren after less than two months of use. So I decided to try a darker color and ordered the Black in addition to the Fawn. I have no idea how well the Black one wears because it smelled so bad I had to send it back immediately. It had the most horrible, synthetic chemical smell you could imagine. For the price I paid for this wallet, I expected it to look new longer than two months, especially when carrying it with a matching brand handbag.

I received my second Lauren today. My first was in Fawn with the red print lining. Love that little clutch. I ordered another one in Black that has this fall's purple print lining for my mom. Unfortunately it will be going back. It reeks. It smells so bad that I literally recoiled when I opened the package. It's a horrible chemical, synthetic smell. So disappointed. Heads up to anyone ordering a color from this fall season. Hopefully it was just a small batch of them that have this horrible chemical smell and not all of them. I will exchange in the hopes that the next one is of the quality I've come to expect from Hobo International. One star for comfort since I literally can't stand to be in the same room with it.
