Samba Slime - Definitely not for those who wish to remain unseen. Bright color is definitely an eye-catcher. If you already wear Sambas, this shoe is no different with the exception of the shorter tongue. The tongue is a bit stiffer than usual but it softens with wear. The heel cup grips very well. Very comfortable.

A great improvement - This shoe is great; the leather inner liner is a great improvement over the original white/black Samba. To clarify: I have owned several pair of Samba's with the white accent. The inner heel of each model wore out well before the shoe was totally trashed. These feel very well built. Also, the tongue is much shorter, which is a welcome change. This will be just my 3rd pair of Samba's in 5 years and I wear them almost every day! Can't say enough about these shoes!

Awesome shoe but the slime color is more of a bright neon green. Still pretty cool though. Very comfortable.

Sambas - FOREVER - My 14 yr old has been wearing Classic Sambas since boy’s size 4s. He now takes a men's size 11. He always goes back to the classic fit even though he doesn’t play indoor soccer. As far as Zappos… have been ordering from them for over 4 yrs. Can’t wait because we’re moving close to one of their outlet warehouses!

My Perfect Shoe - I wear these almost every day. I have worn through one pair, am wearing my 2nd pair, and have a new pair still in the box in the back of my closet ready to go. Once broken in, these are like a second skin. I like the green highlights, they get comments!

SOCCER SHOES! For the people complaining of the long tongue; THEY’RE SOCCER SHOES! You have to wear long socks to play soccer and if the tongue wears out, it’s because it’s an even better shoe than most. They might not be totally comfortable because A: you’re not wearing soccer socks or shin guards. Btw: they’re indoor soccer shoes. I love them, they’re amazing and by far the best SOCCER shoes I have ever worn.

I love these shoes - especially the tennis ball colored accents! Only complaint is like others said, the tongue is a pretty stiff - for me it wasn't so uncomfortable around my ankle as it is near my toes (where the tongue is sewn to the shoe). Otherwise, they look great and are different!

Not COMPLETELY comfortable - I really like the look of these shoes. The hi-lighter accents really stand out. However, the tongue of the shoe is long and stiff and rubs my foot if I don't wear high socks with them (I usually like to wear ped socks). Despite lots of wearing, the tongue is still stiff.

Best shoe I've ever worn! Felt broken in the moment I put them on. They were the only pair of shoes I sported while backpacking around Europe and Northern Africa for 5 months.

I like the shoe a lot, I have never had a pair of Sambas before and I think this was a great first choice. Comfy, sleek, and as I read in a review from another customer the highlighter yellow/green gets a lot of questions and comments. Thanks again Zappos for your amazing speed.

Fun - The color is the same color as a yellow highlighter by my eyeballs estimate. Not very green. Unless your eyes are different. Fluorescent yellow. I have narrow feet and they fit nicely. I have had them for a couple weeks and they are still getting broken in but I am bending it like Beckham. I had to fold the tongue down because it was kerfing my ankle in half. It stays folded down so that is nice. The laces are slippery so I double knot them. There are lots of nooks and crannies in the sole so I am waiting to see how enjoyable it will be to clean dog crap out from them. At least I won’t slip I hope. These shoes are fun though. I dance in them and walk around in them and pedal a bicycle with them. Dancing is the most enjoyable though. I also play soccer in them. I am not good but these allow me to kick the ball. Oh and I also put Dr. Scholl’s arch supports in them that I had leftover from old shoes because without them my ankle bone was getting rubbed the wrong way, but these arch supports make the fit so much nicer. No more rubbing and my arches are happy. Yes. Yes.

Wonderful pair of shoes! This was the second pair I bought of the same style. I loved my first one! I used it to play soccer and to walk and they lasted over a year. The new pair I plan to use it with formal and nice clothing because they're glamorous, too. I love this style... and the only place you can get it is here at Zappos!

I have the black/white Samba and it is unbelievably comfortable that I sneak and wear them to the office! I am saving money to buy this color black/slime.

I really liked the look of this shoe. I have received quite a few comments about the green color! My teenage son's girlfriend thought they were cool. There were only two slight negatives to the shoe; 1) the tongue was very stiff and took several wearings to soften enough to not bother my foot/ankle; 2) the shoe felt tight and stiff and also took several wearings to be comfortable.

A real looker - I’ve always been a guy who likes funky and different shoes. If you want to be noticed then this shoe will do just that. The slime green is much slimier and greener in person which is even better. I love these shoes so much I think I might order a second when these get too old. Overall Awesome shoe.

Chris - If you like Adidas Sambas, you need a pair in this color. :-) Be prepared for other Samba and soccer fans to ask if you colored them yourself, or where you found them. Give them a few days to break in, then they are awesome.

Sambas for life! I have worn Sambas since I played in a traveling soccer team when I was a child. I am now 32 and still wear them; good for the gym, good for hanging out. I have the millenniums, the Italy world cup edition and now these "slime" Sambas. The green is very bright, takes a while to get used too, but definitely different. Very cool...Zappos got them to me the next day. Great service from Zappos.

Kevin - I always have a pair of these in the closet either for a pick up game with friends or just walking around. The leather breaks in nicely and I order the size 14s to let the shoes conform to my feet. I like them very snug. I you don't I would go up a 1/2 size.

Love them! These shoes rock. They are super comfy, stylish, and very unique. I love wearing them everywhere-- around town, to school, and of course to indoor soccer! :-)

Very comfortable shoes - Very, very comfortable, especially after broken in. Have a pair of white as well as neon yellow. Felt true to size.

Fabulous shoe! I just received the samba shoes with the neon green stripes and I absolutely love them! I can't wait to wear them when I play indoors!

Great - Dude. I love these. Green is my favorite color ever. And they are on sale with free shipping. I’m sooo excited to wear these. Especially to soccer. It’s my favorite sport ever and these help me a lot. Very comfortable.
