V from Austin - I just bought my first pair of Clarks and am so impressed I came here to do a review. I've gotten compliments on them twice today. People don't even notice if a guy is wearing shoes around here. Very unusual. These shoes are super soft. I usually have to buy 11 1/5 due to a triple e size foot but I bought an 11 and they fit great. Snug the first day but wore in fast. Very comfortable. That and the fact they would go with jeans was the reason I bought them even though I already have 2 pairs of brown shoes. I will specifically look for this brand in future. 5 stars across the board.

Super Shoe - This is my second pair of Clarks Touareg. I also have the brown color. These are very comfortable and stylish shoes. The brown Touareg is better looking than the black. Can be worn with anything including suits or jeans. Good utility. Clarks are my favorite brand of shoe.

I found these at a department store for less. Well, actually I paid even less because in the process of switching shoes between boxes because several pairs did not quite match each other in color (which I guess suggests that there may be wide variation in color from one shoe to another), a shoe from a very-mismatched pair found itself in a box with a better-matched mate, along with its clearance price sticker. Those I bought are quite a bit lighter in color than that in the Zappos photo. I didn't think much about the shoes when I bought them. They felt comfortable, though I had to buy a full size-and-a-half (!) smaller than I normally wear. I wear an 11.5 in most brands, and 11 in some others. For these - my first pair of Clarks - I wear a size 10, and it fits perfectly. I'd purchased these because my previous pair of Mephistos had worn completely out after just 2-3 years of daily wear in the office. The reaction among others after I bought the Touareg was quite unexpected, though. I've received more compliments on these shoes than any others I've ever owned, and to this day (I'm still wearing them daily, 5 years later) I am asked by passersby where I bought them. Having spent so little on these shoes 5 years ago, I'm initially hesitant to purchase another pair for more than 4 times that price, but knowing the comfort and quality, I think I might do just that. I just hope the colors match.

Normally I would have given these shoes 5 stars. They look great, they fit nicely, my feet don't hurt after wearing the for a 12 hour day and they go with formal attire as well as casual attire. So why not 5 stars? Unfortunately, after 8 months of normal use, the sole cracked in half on the left shoe. Zappos came to the rescue and sent me a replacement pair, so, as expected, 5 stars for Zappos, but the jury is still out on the long term viability of the Clarks. We'll see if these can pass the nine month mark.

I have some foot pain issues, so no shoe is every perfectly comfortable for me. But this shoe has been better than most. Width-wise, it's a bit more snug than most of my shoes, but that actually feels good most of the time. The length is slightly longer than normal, but presents no problem. I can put an orthotic in the shoe, which is a must if you have foot pain.

High-quality fit and finish. They look good with dress pants or jeans alike. Tasteful, comfortable shoes, but not especially exciting. I'd recommend buying at least a half size smaller than you normally wear.

This is a nice shoe for casual wear. I've been trekking around in it all day for a month now. The stitching is solid, it has a good grip on the ground, and it's comfortable. The arch support is good, but it's so firm that it was uncomfortable the first two days. Also, this is the first size medium width shoe that I've ever found to be a little narrow. Not so narrow that I'm returning the shoe, but worth noting. And, breathability is so-so, in my opinion. My feet feel warmer in this shoe than they have in my other shoes during the summer. Again, not a deal-breaker. This is my day-to-day shoe and I'm happy with it.

Great shoe, but the one drawback is that it does not do well in wet weather. Just walking in the light rain, a bit of water always seems to get in. Otherwise, great fit. Just don't plan to wear them when it's wet.

I actually had a chance to try these on in a brick store before my order shipped, and found out that I needed a 10 when I usually wear a 9.5, so consider ordering a half-size up from your usual. I like the style, they're a great shoe for slacks or jeans, and they're definitely more exciting than your usual affordable shoe. Finally, they've been pretty comfortable, although I haven't had the need to do anything crazy like walk 5 miles in a pair or anything. They can definitely handle a night out!

These shoes are available in wide sizes for which my feet need. It is important to have correctly fitting shoes that provide adequate comfort. They go well with the business casual attire dress code for my career in Arizona. Zappos' two way shipping to get the right fit is convenient and is my one stop shop for buying quality shoes.

I found these shoes on Zappos and ordered them with standard shipping. At the end of my order, I was informed I'd be able to make future orders with the VIP status and have free 1-day shipping. I thought that was some stand-up customer service. Then, the next thing I know, my delivery for the shoes had also been bumped up to 1-day shipping for free! Zappos certainly does customer service right! As for the shoes themselves, I found them to be a great buy. The sizing seemed about a half size too big, but I realize some brands' sizes are different than others. Overall, I'm very happy with the style and comfort of the shoes.

Really cute and well made. My husband is a younger professional in the creative industry so he needs to look nice, but not stuffy. Plus, he's really hard on shoes, so hopefully these stand up.

I picked this shoe for the extra wide size available and it fits as expected. A good almost-dress shoe and seems to hold up fine on wet days.

I bought these for my husband, who walks a lot at work. He loved the style of this shoe, but unfortunately the heel did not have the same cushion other Clarks that he has. He considered trying an insert to cushion the heel, but opted to return instead. Bummed, they are super stylish.

I love the styling of this shoe. That was the number one reason why I purchased it. It is also lightweight for this type of shoe. I have no problem with my feet sweating in these shoes. I have flat feet and these are not the most comfortable shoes but they are about average. No worse than most. I wear these shoes more than half the time for work and socially. After four months there is very little noticeable wear on the sole. I continue to enjoy my Touaregs.

I love the style of these shoes, and they are probably the only pair I have gotten compliments on. But the problem is the breaking in period. These shoes have a higher-than-normal rise, so they rest against the bottom of your ankle. These were very painful to wear, probably for the first month or so. I would carry a second pair of shoes in my car just so I could change after half a day. Once they are broken in, though, they feel fine. I wear these almost every day with jeans or khakis, and they look great. So, 3 stars for comfort and 5 for looks, making this 4 stars overall.

A unique looking pair of shoes that reflect the quality of Clarks. These shoes run true to sizing, so don't do what I did and order a 13 when your feet are 12½. Buy the correct size. Clarks does not skimp like other manufacturers.

Very pleased. Based on other feedback, I ordered a size smaller than normal (I wear a 13, ordered a 12) and am happy with the decision. Very light weight and comfortable shoe. I am accustomed to a low profile shoe (loafers, etc.) and this shoe is a little higher profile than I’d like. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a low profile shoe.

Great brand with great style and comfort it look heavy but very light weight. It can go with a suit and tie and also with a jean and t-shirt. Excellent in comfort and I like the shoe it is lightweight. My second pair I had a manufacturing defect the Clarks Zappos.com company exchanged it the very next day. The service was very fast and it impressed me. This is my third pair in six years. Very good shoes and I love the company they stand by their product I am impressed with the product and business ethics of the company. I will recommend anyone to try it. I love the size it fits well and very comfortable and not very heavy. And believe me it is good for the back because it fits well. This is from my experience and I recommend this shoes and the Zappos.com company. Enjoy walking in style!

So far, shoes are comfortable, but still feel as if they need to be worn-in more. There is significant variation in color between individual shoes. I’ve tried on 3 pairs, so I’ve seen 7 (including the display) in person, and not one of them was the same color as another. Some had a nice, dark tint, while others were MUCH lighter. Some had imperfections (bright, yellowish patches) in the leather. I’ve not had these very long, but they feel sturdy. Clarks sizes are VERY unpredictable. I’ve tried on several styles, and not one felt true to size, but the Touareg in particular was much larger. I wear an 11.5 in nearly every brand (including Adidas, Teva, Vans, Mephisto; 11 in Timberland and Puma). In other Clarks, I wear a 10.5, but in the Touaregs, I need a 10, and there is still a fair amount of space to the sides of my heels inside the shoes.

These are great shoes! Thee style makes them versatile. I wear them with a suit or with jeans or anything in between. They keep a nice shine. They are overall very comfortable for a dress shoe.

I was taking a chance buying shoes online, without trying them on, mispronouncing their name, but I have yet to regret it. Although I'm not sure if the Berbers of the Sahara trek about those desert dunes in these fine leather soles, but I would! I needed to replace a pair of non-replaceable Clarks and Zappos was the ideal store for me. With jeans or khakis these classy-gentlemen's best-friend-for-your-feet have worked with comfort and competency in both rain and sun.

Clown shoes? I bought these for my husband - we both thought they looked cool online, but when he tried them on, they looked a little too much like clown shoes with the vertical stripes. It is likely because he had a bigger size (11.5W) and they would probably look quite posh on someone with smaller/narrower feet.

Great Shoes - Comfortable enough to wear and walk all day. Casual enough to go nicely with a pair of jeans or khakis. Dressy enough to pair easily with a suit jacket and slacks. Built well, affordable, and they look good, too. Highly recommend the Tourareg.

Moderately comfortable - but usually the more comfortable the shoes are, the easier they break down. Well, these hold their shape remarkably well.
