I'd bought this shoe in brown at a store and loved it. They didn't have it in black at the store in quite my size, so I searched online. Bought the same exact size/width/style, but in black. The black still feels slightly tighter than the brown, even though I've worn them both at least twice per week each for two months now and wear the same style (different color) socks with each. It's not uncomfortable, but you do notice it. Both brown and black squeak when walking on linoleum flooring in the office kitchen. Everyone knows I'm coming/going. Real leather soles don't do that; but these are synthetic, so they do. I keep hoping with extended wear the squeaking in the kitchen will go away; but I doubt it will. Not a huge deal, though. On carpet or outside, it's fine. Laces are sturdier than you'd expect for a dressy casual shoe, so that's a plus. Can be worn with slacks (not suit slacks, though) and looks great. Can be worn with nice jeans, too, for an upscale look. Price is great, too. I'd recommend this exact shoe and this brand, but you should try them on in person first before you turn around and buy online.

I have worn Clarks for many years and loved them. The Touareg is no different. Fits like a glove with style. Size and description was accurate.

Great casual and dress shoe. Clark's always makes a great shoe, and this is no different. Fits as expected, with excellent arch support, although slightly narrow as a dress shoe may feel compared to a casual shoe. Design looks great with jeans or a pair of slacks which make it a great travel shoe as it fits in wherever.

Great Shoe - I normally buy 12EE, but I actually got this shoe in the 11.5EE because other reviewers said it ran big. It's a good fit but still slightly a little larger than I expected after ordering a half size down. Even though it's not a perfect fit, the shoe is still very comfortable and not only do I love the look, but the shoes are winning their share of compliments from friends and strangers. Whether I've got on a nice pair of slacks or I'm kicking around in my favorite jeans, these shoes provide a level style and comfort that is unmatched.

Nice shoe - This shoe seems to get better each week. The fit is getting better and the appearance has change somewhat giving. After a few weeks it has different shades of brown to it. Still looks good. Zappos customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. Second to none!

I have two pairs of Clarks shoes; both of them are 70852. One set is brown and the other is black. I only wear them a couple of times per month each. I am sitting here in the office and I noticed that the brown pair that I have on is torn where the sole is sewn to the side leather. This is very unimpressive for the price that I paid for these shoes. Big time letdown for a pair of shoes that I really do like.

Wore these a couple times to work (office with some factory floor time) and liked the comfort. Took a leap of faith and wore them to two days of trade show at McCormick Place in Chi. They were very comfortable and supportive. Would definitely recommend them to others.

I've had these shoes for just over 45 days now. Out of the box, they were the most comfortable dress shoes I've owned. I've been getting the cheaper style box store shoes for years and they wear out so quickly, offer no support and look like they're 5 years old in just a couple weeks. I'm in IT at a hospital and easily run around a few miles a day. Tennis shoes would be ideal but not allowed, welcome to the corporate world :) Getting older and tired of shoes that fall apart, one of my coworkers recommended Clarks. These shoes are amazing. My feet feel so much better at the end of a long day. It's hard to believe that it was the shoes that were causing problems, not the running around. I highly recommend these shoes: They look as good as day one and I'm going to get a black pair as well.

Shoes are great! Very comfortable, good quality. Zappos delivery was great and easy.

These were the shoes I was looking for to replace the pair that I had worn out. Very comfortable from day 1. Fit to size and reasonable price. I was glad to find them on Zappos and the time for delivery was very quick.

Beautiful shoe. Comfortable after one solid day of wear. True to size and looks good with jeans or khakis.

Excellent experience. These shoes were cheaper on Zappos than in the mall at the store. They came when they said they would and fit as the size chart listed. I would definitely use Zappos again.

Great shoe, but very wide at the ankle. I normally wear size 12 wide, but these shoes in that size were falling off my feet. I went to 12 normal, and they are still a bit wide at the ankle, and about right at the ball of my foot.

Very comfy shoes. Sized about right. Seem to be a good shoe for biz casual and evening events.

Note: this review was submitted before these shoes were fully broken in. Learned the hard way that I have wide feet and decided Zappos was the place to shop for EE size 8s. Wore them inside over several days and decided to keep them. My uncertainty was caused by the shoe's loose fit around my ankles. My ankles freely moved around the shoe's opening but didn't rub against anything. After a few days of outdoor usage I remained unsure of my purchase until today. Being winter it was unusually warm in the low 70s. After being outside for a while, I noticed my ankles were no longer loosely moving around. This sealed it for me and today I ordered a black pair in the same size.

Husband wears these for work all day on his feet, he loves them. Comfortable and can get in wide.

Love these shoes. I am ordering a second pair. First time to have had total strangers compliment me on how they look. Very comfortable walking. One of my favorite shoes.

I wear a wide in a lot of shoes, but these fit fine in medium width. Very durable. I work in a major retail home improvement center on concrete floors, these do the job. Will purchase this brand again.

Good looking shoe that is fairly comfortable once broken in. Size runs about a half size big. I normally wear a 12, but had to order a 11.5.

They are very comfortable and fit like gloves. I got several compliments on the shoes. When you order wide they tend to run slightly larger.

These were OK out of the box. I am a Clarks fan, these are very comfortable and dressy enough to pass with slacks. And, of course, Zappos rocks!

Beautiful Shoe! Ordered for my husband, and it's a wonderful departure from his regular brown work shoes. The leather is a beautiful color, and I love the style with the stripe down the front. My husband spend a lot of time walking at work, so he needs to look good and be comfortable. These fit the bill!
