The inside heel plate will stain socks black if your feet perspire even a little bit. If you happen to get them wet, the stain will go all the way to your skin. Otherwise a great shoe/boot. Long wearing and comfortable right from the start.

The shoe laces are already coming apart. The toe on the left foot is crushed in and rubs my toes. The right foot is rubbing right above bend in the toes which makes it uncomfortable.

I replaced a pair if hiking boots with these boots. I wear them for disaster response work and they work well in terms of toughness and traction, but they are heavy and a bit stiff compared to the hikers. Good quality for the price, just a bit clunky.

Started falling apart after two months. tried using them for daily work boots. not a good idea. did not hold up like my other Skecher boots.

These Pilot Boots are great except that the EW boots are still a Half size to narrow for my 4E wide feet...3E is wearable but not for to long.
But that's just me, I still recommend these boots highly.

too low from inside sole and top ! My toes are squeezed between the inside sole and the top.. !

The Size 14 is a little wierdly shaped. The wider heel needs to carry through to a wider toe it looks strange. Because of this the toe almost has a pointy look to it. Kind of dumb.

I really liked this model for both comfort and style, but their build quality is unacceptable. I had two successive pairs develop the same maddening squeak in the left shoe. The first did so in about three months, the second in only four or five weeks. Shoe repair people couldn't help me with either pair; the second one still looked pristine when I regretfully put them in the trash.

Nice style but after 4 days my husband came home and the silver piece around the shoestring hole came off. He complained about how the boot rubs at the top. He is back to his old boots that have lasted over a year. They look bad but lasted more than 4 days. These are good looking but not good work boots

Poor breathability, within 4-5 hours of wearing them I can feel my socks getting damp. Leather on the sides started cracking a month after wearing them. Other wise they are comfortable, but for the first month they stained the heels of my socks and my skin black from the leather dye.

They look awesome and are very comfortable. I am mover, household and Comercial.The laces lasted a few months. Then the sides blew out in six months. All the sides of my skechers blow out quick, even the ones I ware casually.

These boots are bothersome and difficult to walk in. Also there's a seem on the left boot that is sewn incorrectly so the leather is slightly rippled.
These will be returned.
