These boots are really for the extreme cold weather! I have no doubt they will keep your feet dry and warm, but I'm looking for something a less clunky! The Tivoli Plaid boots are nice! Prefect fit for my 7.5 foot! These boots felt true to size, but they should carry half sizes as I like my boots snug not loose fitting.

I really wanted to love these boots, but they were quite heavy for the purpose that I was going to use them for. Also, I was not a fan of the boot lining coming out when I pulled the boot off my foot. If I was ice fishing or something, these boots would be excellent, but the weight was too much for the activity level I plan to do.

I loved stomping around the city in these huge boots. The liner inside pulls out so I can dry it on the radiator. Why is the liner wet? At times these boots can make my feet sweat especially if I wear ski socks. But sadly I also discovered that my sturdy waterproof snow Sorels leak. The first pair I had did not start leaking until the 2nd winter of wearing them. I figured they were worn out. So I bought a new pair. I wore them maybe 4 times. The first winter slush puddle I stepped in caused the whole interior liner to soak. I had to walk around with a wet foot for the rest of the day. At least the thick liner bides some time before my foot gets totally soaked. Bummer because my first pair lasted much longer. Also, the traction on these are not so great for city slippery sidewalks and subway stairs. These boots are probably best for cold days with no snow or dry powdery snow.

SO cute and comfy! But... I loved these boots but sad to say that after only a few times of wearing them the back seem ripped out. I hadn't even gotten up on a mountain yet :( I will try again though because they were just so darn adorable...and practical! I'm hoping this pair was just duds.

Water RESISTANT- not water PROOF- First, let me say- Zappos rocks. I have bought all kinds of shoes from here, and even had to return a pair once, and the process/customer service is above par. In terms of the boots: haven't worn them in snowy conditions yet, but I can tell two important things already: they are warm and sturdy- the bottoms seem to be heavy and provide traction. My feet slide in really easily, and it goes up to my knee. My only criticism- and if I had realized this before, I wouldn't have bought them- is that they're only water resistant, not waterproof. What's the point of making a winter boot that's not waterproof? Also- while, it felt true to size, it is a roomy shoe, so if you wear thick socks, you're fine.

Way too big and clunky for a woman's snow boot. They look like the style of men's workboots, just in white. Also, too heavy. Sadly I'll be returning these.

Lasted one month; ripped ppart on the back seam, and the fabric shredded. Very 'cute' boot - but not for real winter wear.

Sad to send this back - My old Sorel's sprung a leak, so I've been in search of a new pair of winter boots. This was perfect...a tall shaft, rubber boot, and thick lining. I ordered them (in black) late Saturday night and they arrived before noon today. When I opened the box, all I could think of was, "Herman Munster." What the heck, I was looking for warmth and waterproofing. I wore them around the house for an hour. What a workout! I wear and 11. These shoes fit fine, even with a thick sock. One problem. These are the heaviest boots I've ever worn. I put them on the scale and the pair weighed in at a whooping 4.8 pounds! Living in Chicago, I do a lot of walking, so if I kept these boots, I'd end up with legs the size of Arnold, not to mention fatigue. Thanks for the fast delivery, but it's back to the drawing board for me.

Big and bulky. Very unattractive.

Tear in Materials - I was really excited about my boots I ordered after reading all the great reviews and just knowing Sorel's reputation. Sadly, my upper tore above the heel about 10 days into receiving the boots. I didn't wear them in any unusual circumstances, mainly back and forth to work. I will be returning the boots back. I really appreciate Zappos great shipping policy.
