Got this cool backpack for my daughter for her 8th grade year of school and she LOVES IT! The teal/purple color was even a bigger hit with her. As for me I had read reviews on the durability and size seemed to have great reviews and so far so good... School has only been in for a few days, but just the look of the look/toughness of the hardware and the material I feel like it is going to last us long after the school year ends.

I am on my way to college on Friday and my book bag is already filled and neatly organized with all my necessities! This bag has the perfect compartment for my Mac Book Pro and tons of room for my college books. The compartment in the front is good for little items and easy to reach things. The two water bottle compartments are very large also, which makes it easy to fit more than one bottle of water in them. As for the strings in the front of the book bag, anything imaginable can fit in them! I usually put my sweatshirt between the strings so I don't need to hold it. This book bag is great for anything, but especially going to class!

Every year, before school starts, my two daughters get on the North Face website to find their backpacks. Five years now and we've never been disappointed. They hold up so well that we wash them and donate them at the end of the school year. This year was a problem because both of my daughters liked the same bag. Luckily my youngest gave in and found another but learned that she'll have to go online earlier next year to find her's first. Thanks again for another great backpack to get us through the school year.

Bought this as a backpack for school and so far I couldn't have asked for anything better! It is made of durable material and it fits to my body perfectly!

The Jester is a great style backpack, especially for short trips or for things like school. It's a little smaller in size, so it's not something I take on a camping trip longer than a day or two, but it's a good size for all the daily stuff I use it for! It's got a lot of pockets and compartments on the inside as well for extra storage.

My daughter got this to start high school.....we love the quality and color.....it is a bit too small for all the binders she needs but she likes it so much she is making it work!!

I'm writing this review mostly to comment on the size of the backpack. I've loved my previous Jester backpack, plenty of room and it lasted seven years of constant use. The Jester backpack here however is MUCH, MUCH smaller. I'm a college student and it's definitely not big enough to hold a laptop, notebook, and textbook. It's so small I will probably have to return/exchange it. Maybe other people know how big 26 liters is, but I had no idea, so here's my word of advice!

I love this backpack. It's compact and light, but packs a lot of compartments and room. I'm into photography, so I like to pack everything away in it's own compartment. Zippers, Velcro, and pouches are the name of the game. LOVE! #TNFLocals #AMBSDR

It makes traveling so much easier. It evenly distributes the weight of the things I carry inside it so I don't really feel it. I am also in love with the color. An overall great choice if you're looking for a good backpack.

I'm an incoming college freshman and bought this backpack to last me all four years of college, and I think it will! It's so well-made, comfortable to wear, and the colors are great. I'm really happy with my purchase and definitely recommend the backpack to anyone.

I love this backpack. I have had a Jansport for 5 years and purchased this backpack for my sophomore year in college. It has been perfect, it holds my laptop and everything else I could need. It is not huge so it isn't bulky on a female body, thank you North Face for a female friendly backpack. Doesn't get much better than this.

I recently purchased this backpack, and it's a great deal for the price it's offered. I'm already in love with the interior and exterior of this backpack, so I can tell that it will be along for the ride on many adventures with me!

Great backpack for walking around a large campus. Love all the different colors and padding on it. Pretty reasonable price also compared to some others.

I bought this backpack as I started college and so far it has everything to meet my needs. The large pocket fits multiple textbooks, the small pockets for supplies and organization are super helpful, and there's even a laptop pocket and perfectly sized side pockets for water bottles, etc. My only criticisms would be that I would prefer a little more padding on the laptop pocket, and I would have liked the school supplies pockets to be in the front section instead of the back (but that's just my personal preference). Overall this backpack is more spacious than it looks and comfortable on my shoulders and not really lacking in anything.

I ordered this backpack for my wife and she loves it! The size is perfect, it doesn't look or feel to big but it can hold all the items she needs it too. The colors are awesome too.

I absolutely LOVE this new pack! The color is so rich and bright, perfect for a girl's pack. The new fit made for women is a great aspect, it fits nice and snug in all the right places. It is the perfect pack for both work and play. For school and work it fits by laptop in a special pocket and all books, notebooks, etc. For play it is light and small enough for a day hike or pack for a weekend trip. This is my second TNF pack and I'll never buy anything else. A bonus is that I received this pack as a #TNFLocal #AMBSDR in July as a part of the #GivePack campaign where packs purchased from The North Face in July and August will help Big City Mountaineers mentor underserved youth on wilderness expeditions.
