I love to go hiking a few times throughout the week in the evenings and usually do a longer hike at least one day over the weekend. This is a great and stylish pack for all of mine and my dogs essentials. I'm also a nanny and this is great for toting everything we need for the day. I love the quality and the color, grey with purple accents, and will be using this for a long time!

First ever backpack bought at north face and so far so good:)

Was going to use it for the rest of my time in undergrad but it was too small for me, so I got the recon instead and it's prefect

I really like this! I bought it for school and it's exactly what I wanted. would definitely buy again

Not very flexible but an overall good backpack

I really like this backpack I love the colors but you can't set it on the floor or sit it up it falls over so you have to lay it flat on the ground. I really don't like that.

I use this backpack for school. It is comfortable and it protects my books and my computer.

Using this bag as my primary book bag for graduate school. The Jester makes lugging around books so much easier. The padding inside for my MacBook is excellent. Also, the padding on the straps is second to none. The bag has many slots for pencils and small items, which is very convenient. The attention to detail is superb. I've been using The North Face bags ever since middle school and I've never been disappointed. Besides the phenomenal construction and utility, the aesthetics of the color scheme (QUAIL GREY HEATHER/CERISE PINK) I selected were above my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high quality bag with multiple functionalities!

We purchased the Jester in black for our oldest for High School. She loves it. Says she will use 2 smaller binders instead of one large binder next year. But that could be true with any binder. Apparently lockers are not used widely by students in her high school so she has been packing this backpack around with her from class to class for two years and the thing is in great condition. Bought the purple one for our youngest as we were so impressed with the comfort and durability of her sisters.

This backpack is ideal for school. Sturdy enough to hold a laptop and heavy books, but also great for outdoor day hikes. It looks relatively plain and simple, but has everything you need for both indoor and outdoor use.

I gave this to my daughter for her trip through Europe, and she loves it! It has plenty of space for everything she needs on the plane, including a pocket for her new Mac. It fits her body well and she plans to use it for college this fall, too. All in all, no complaints, and she's quick to complain if something doesn't work out.

I am only giving this a negative comment based on color! I ordered the london fog heather. The part that appears to be an off-white color *the middle section" is actually a zinc grey color. It does not look like this in the picture on here!

Very great back padding, walking around campus now feels like a breeze!! Everything fits in my backpack, all my books and homework, comforts great to my back shape!

I bought this backpack for my daughter's boyfriend. He will head off to college this fall and I wanted him to have a comfortable backpack for campus as well as one that is stylish. He was very impressed with the fit and comfort of this backpack. He even committed that this might last the full four years of college! We will find out!

It's not as big which is good. The color is nice and there is a lot of space

I'm now entering my last year of high school and hadn't had a new backpack since freshman year. It had holes and smelled bad at this point. When I bought my new bag I wanted something that would be stylish, last longer and be comfortable to finish out the year and into college.

Very useful for my daily routine

Laptop sleeve fits perfectly, only problem is that the shoulder straps are uncomfortable on bare shoulders

It is a great bag, and it looks like it could last me a while. The only thing I did not like was it barely had any space for anything.

I love my women's jester backpack! It has been great for travel and school. I have large books and my laptop or tablet fits great and not heavy!

I just bought the Jester and I love it! The thing that I like most about it is the padded laptop case in the large pocket, it fits my computer perfectly. I also like the two water bottle sleeves on the sides. They are deep enough that my water bottle never slips out. I like the two separate compartments as well. One suggestion I would make is to move the pen organizer from the bigger pocket to the smaller one in front to make those supplies more easily accessible. Thank you so much for the awesome backpack! I will definitely be buying from you again!

I'm a pretty active person (hiker, frequent traveler and triathlete). I needed something that fit all of my essentials, was comfortable for long-wear, and had a sporty element to it as well. This bag has served me well for all of my on-the-go needs. Whether it's for my daily commute, long-runs, day hikes, biking, or overseas traveling, this backpack always offers everything I need. Great for preventing backpain even for heavy loads. Fabulous for even biking. Nice laptop safety sleeve.
