This is the 2nd backpack that I have purchased for my son. His 1st Northface has lasted 5 years now and we thought it's finally time to retire it even though its still kicking! We are a huge Northface product family, everything from hats, jackets, boots, ski apparel, etc. Their products are truly the BEST! If you have any doubts or second guessing a purchase..DON'T! Its worth it!!

By far the prettiest, manliest, meanest pack I have ever owned. If it weren't for my technology deficient laptop, it would be perfect. My laptop is apparently 3-4 inches larger than advertised. It is gov issued so I shouldn't have expected anything else. That one is on me, not The North Face.., I still highly recommend this pack for any level of packer.

Not just a bag but a great vessel to transport my lap top, and everything that's important to me without worrying if it is going to get broke! I travel a lot from the U.S. Virgin Islands to the states a lot and this piece of gear is awesome!!!

Very good product

Everything is great about this backpack. Instead of buying 2-3 backpacks a year I only had to buy one and it lasts very well. It's super comfortable and it fits all of my notebooks, lunch, and even clothes.

I ordered this to replace my daughter's original Recon backpack, which lasted 2-3 years with daily use and world-wide travel. Worth every penny!

This is my first North Face backpack and I love it! I love the colors and the extra padding in the back for my laptop to keep it protected. Great product.

Carry on for trips, biking, overnight trips

The Recon backpack is a hight-quality design which allows it to be very versatile! This pack is excellent for everyday use from taking to the office to day hikes in the mountains. The pack is adjustable and has ample space and storage for whatever you may need to carry! One of my older North Face backpacks is going on 10+ years and is still being used with no rips or tears! The North Face products are designed to last and I expect to get many years out of my new Recon.

This backpack accommodates many needs. I love the laptop space. The compartments allow for easy organization and access to items.

I love this book bag it is perfect for being a student and also traveling on the road when I need a bag to carry all my stuff in !!!

I use this backpack for school and it is SO great for fitting a lot of bulky books and notebooks in. It is very compatible to all of the materials college students need! And it makes a heavy load seem light on your shoulders and your back, which has saved me many chiropractor trips!

I bought this bag to use as a diaper bag/catch all bag for when traveling with my two girls. It is lightweight and I can shove a ton of stuff in this bag with all it's space and pockets.

This is my school and day tripping bag!

Bought this for our son, my husband was so impressed with it, he has put one on his Christmas list, he is ready to ditch his computer bag for this backpack. His laptop fits perfectly and as you get older this backpack is much easier on the shoulders.
