I use it for college but it's great for camping or when I stay over at somone else's house. even to play sports I take this with me

Couldn't be happier with this pack -- looks good, comfortable, not bulky but has great capacity. I use it mostly when cycling to work or recreationally. It can hold a 15" laptop and a growler at the same time, easily, with room to spare.

Running around campus, it helps to have a backpack that has such good support.

I would use this product for school because it offers great space for books and organized pockets for other things.

I'm going to use it in college. My friend has a North Face backpack and she loved it. So I figured, why not buy my own!?

I use this backpack for traveling and also for school. Fits everything very well!! Special compartment for my laptop, and the many small pockets inside are very useful for everything I need to store. Organization is key!!

I bought this backpack at the beginning of the school year and take public transportation every day to school. I have also taken many trips with this backpack, and it's able to fit a week's worth of clothes for when I want to pack light. Also, the front drop pocket is super useful for small things, like a book or a pencil case -- nothing has ever fallen out on me. Despite the wear and tear of traveling and commuting, my backpack still looks as new as the day I bought it! Although a bit heavy, the durability of the bag and capacity to hold all of my textbooks every day have won me over completely.

The pack pack that I bought for my college son was even better than expected. This will last him the duration of college. Way to Go!

I bought this for my daughter who is beginning College in the fall. She loves the style and the fact that she can carry large loads. The laptop sleeve is a great addition.

I like that there is a place for my computer and my iPad.

I use this product for basically everything. I am traveling to Spain and I will use this bag to carry around my things while I am there. The bag helps with the availability to carry essentially whatever you want, wherever you want. I love how there are multiple pockets to put belongings into. Without all the different sizes, I would end up putting pencils in a computer sleeve.

Love all the pockets! Haven't started school yet but it will be great for all my supplies in vet school!

I'm a dog walker, so i have to be outside for hours and hours, even when it rains. This backpack is very comfortable on my shoulders which is VERY important as i have to carry it all day. It has alot of space, so i can put anything i might need inside without worrying about "where can i put this?...". Plus is very pleasant on the eye, this backpack is not only what i need but also what i wanted. The only negative i can find is that when placed on the floor it has poor balance.

Absolutely an amazing bag. I had a 22L bag that I'd been using for school. The problem with that bag was that it was too small, didn't have enough compartments, there weren't many pockets at all, and my stuff sat really weirdly in it. So when I decided to look for a bigger bag, I decided that it needed to be one that had everything the 22L was missing and that I could also use for backpacking and traveling. I found this bag and I fell in love with it. Not only does it have way more compartments and just the right amount of pockets, it also has the space that I was looking for and I don't really have an issue with the way my stuff sits in it. I take this bag almost everywhere with me. I take it to work, on weekend trips, if I'm going to a friends house, traveling. I use to carry so much extra stuff and now this is the only bag I really need and use(besides a super lightweight day bag I usually keep in the large compartment in the back or the mesh compartment on the front). My favorite feature on the bag is the front little zipper pocket. I use that pocket so much and it's great for easy access to essentials. My only complaint would be that the waist belt isn't very wide so it doesn't provide the support that I would've like to have from a waist belt. Other than that, this is the best backpack that I've ever had and I'm still just as in love with it as the day I got it.

I bought this backpack for college recently and I already love it. It's on the heavy side, but all of the better backpacks that are padded and have space for a laptop are, so it wasn't necessarily a downfall

Purchased it for my birthday. I have been a fan of The North Face brand since the 9th grade. And now I'm 24 years old. So now I'm a 10 year fan and consumer of the brand. By far has been the best backpack I've purchased. I use it every day for work and recreational purposes. Comfortably carries my laptop, iPad and large amounts of paper work. While still remaining stylish and comfortable!

Great bag for school or day use. Love the lined pockets. North Face bags are incredibly great quality.

Use this everyday, it fits my lunch, three water bottles, gym outfit, books, and gym shoes in it with room to spare. Has many very useful pockets and little accessories.

I use this book bag for school and traveling. I have so much space to put anything and everything in the bag. With high quality material inside and out this bag gives you so many opportunities to do whatever you want with it.

Straps are extremely comfortable and there is plenty of space in the pockets and there are great organizers. The laptop sleeve won't hold a laptop much larger than 15" but that is how its advertised. Love that it also has a tablet protection sleeve.

One of the best presents my boyfriend has ever given me! I have back problems (two vertebrae squashing the disc in-between them) and this backpack is amazing! When I've filled it up and go to put it on my back, it feels heavy, but the moment I put my arm through the other strap and settle it on my back, it feels like 1/16th of the weight! It's incredible! My back doesn't hurt with this backpack like it does with the rest! And the straps that go across your chest and stomach make it even better! Plus, anything you slide into that inside pocket in the large compartment (laptop, like it was intended for, or notebook) doesn't jam into your back/poke you while you walk! Love all of the pockets - they cut down on my "looking for something" time by half! It really is an all-around great backpack, but I have to say that what sold me on it was what it has done for my back. I haven't taken it hiking yet, although I will, but for school and overnight trips as well as travel, it has done amazingly!

I love this backpack! i bought it for my self for Christmas as a reward for doing well in school. Definetly worth the price! ( there are a few loose threads)

Used for hiking day trips in Colorado and general travel.
