The colors are not the same as the pictures online. After using the backpack for about 3 months, the backpack got a hole on the bottom of the laptop compartment.

So I barely had this backpack for a few months and since I had spent a decent amount of money on it, I took lots of care of this backpack making sure I never put anything heavy in it etc, then it started ripping from the side which was very unusual, since I never put anything heavy in it. I was very annoyed that the whole side of the backpack was ripping and my mom sews a lot, she used to be a seamstress so she knows the workings and it was an old product I'm sure, because my mom said it shouldn't just start ripping on the side like that. So with warranty I sent it back to North face and first of all they took 2 months to even get any response!! Two months is so long, what was I supposed to do that long without a backpack, then we were told that it wasn't covered by warranty! I have bought quite some things from North face such as there jackets, etc and this was my first time buying a backpack. I will not be wasting my money on another North face product ever again!

I absolutely love this backpack, as a person with back issues and is in high school, this bag is amazing. The only cons that I have found are the water bottle holders wear quickly, I have had this bag for about 2-3 months and there is already a small hole in one of the portions where you would put a water bottle. The other side is starting to wear also. I cannot have any binders because if I do, the bag makes my back start to hurt and I have to remove the binder(s) within the first few minutes of putting it in.

Just great it's holding up well and doesn't feel like it's going to break on me. Can't wait for the more test I'll put it through but very happy

The backpack is super high quality. It definietly matches up to the North Face standard. I do wish that the compartments and pockets were organized a little bit differently. Having more smaller pockets would be awesome.

I purchased this backpack as a birthday gift for my husband! He LOVES it! He uses it for work everyday to bring his laptop and notebooks etc back and forth from work but mostly we use this for travel. We travel a lot and with a small baby we need a lot of things easily on hand which this backpack makes it so easy to grab what need quickly while on the go. This helps us stay organized while traveling which was a gift for him but also for myself!

Great product for a college student. Might be a bit small as a travel backpack, but works great for daily use carrying books and a pair of clothes for my strength and conditioning class. Good number of pockets for keys, wallet, water bottle, etc. The padding a little bit stiff at first, but has broken in and is very comfortable.

I absolutely love this backpack. It's durable and lightweight. There are so many pockets and it has so much room! I have no issues carrying 2 books, a binder, notebook, and 3 huge folders along with my MacBook, and still have a ton of room.

I researched for days for a backpack that will take the pressure of my shoulders, still hold all of my stuff, and look decent (it does - I love the colors). This one most definitely takes the pressure and weight off of my shoulders, but I was surprised by its weight when nothing is in it. I wish it were lighter to begin with. The side pockets hold large water bottles, small umbrellas, with nothing slipping out. The front area is perfect for a rain jacket or sweatshirt to be folded and stored, and yet still easy to grab when needed. I do have two complaints about this bag: (1) if you fill the smaller middle pocket with anything other than small items such as pens, it takes up the larger middle pocket's space thus making it difficult to put books there; (2) it doesn't stand up by itself and that drives me crazy since it always requires propping it against something - and it still sometimes tips over. However, my number one goal was to find a backpack that alleviated my shoulder pain, and this one has worked really well.

I love this bag! It fits a lot more books and binders then the old version of the bag! The only con to this bag is that the front accessories pocket is smaller then the old version, but i don't mind because it helps me to not overpack my bag!

My daughter fell in love with this back pack. We will definitely buy again. Holds all of her schooling needs and still had plenty of room with out being all bulky.

I love using this backpack for school because it has a good amount of space and pockets to store everything separately! It is a little heavy but it is really good to use for school

I use this backpack for school. It is a great quality and very durable! However, it is very difficult to fit all of my binders in it. It is long enough but if it were a bit wider then it would be perfect! Overall I love it!

If you like style overcomfort this might be a great backpack for you. I got it because I was hoping for both but the straps are very hard and uncomfortable and so is the backing. The place where you put your laptop is going to keep it safe, but it also makes the back hard and uncomfortable as well. I had a Patagonia backpack that is much more comfortable with more room. Maybe I just need to use the backpack a few times to break it in.

I love my backpack, but the design needs improvements. I use my backpack mainly for college and I carry two huge textbooks, a five subject notebook, 13in laptop, glasses case, wallet, phone/laptop chargers, and a lab coat. I can carry everything in my backpack but it is very cramped and difficult to retrieve and store away my books. This backpack is perfect if you are planning on carrying just one textbook and a laptop, but once you add two or three books it becomes a different story.
I really love this bag but I am dissapionted that I struggle so much with it.

I bought this backpack for my 11th grade in high school and highly recommend! I had in the past a lot of trouble finding the right backpack that wasn't too big or too small and I'd honestly say this backpack is the perfect medium. I was also always skeptical of Northface backpacks because of the price, but this one is honestly worth it. There are plenty of pockets to fit all of the little things like pencils, calculators, car keys, gum, etc. But there's also a really nice big pocket that fits 2 of my binders and my laptop and my accordion! Thoroughly impressed with this bag!
