Looking high and low for a reliable replacement for my tattered decade-old backpack, I came across this pack. First trip report: excellent. Slim and lightweight, but high capacity. I'm fairly confident this will be my travel companion to carry me through the 20's.

Just bought this backpack for school and the quality is great. It fits a lot of binders, and the laptop sleeve is very convenient. Great design for students with lots of pockets and compartments. The shipping was very quick and came right on time.

Not bulky during small hauls, looks and feels great. When you start to fill it up ... "Mind Blown" at the capacity of this thing and still looks and feels great. Remains solid on back even with a full load of heavy tools or big laptop on board. From gym clothes to drills and batteries perfect all around pack!

Love this backpack, just the right size without being too big or heavy or having too many specialized pockets!

Absolutely love this back pack. My husband has one and my oldest daughter has had hers for 2 and a half years and it still looks brand new.

I love this product. It is such a nice backpack. It is very lightweight, and it doesn't directly contact my back - keeping the amount of sweat down. Would definitely rebuy this.

I like the fact that there are many pockets and the pockets are big enough I can fit my books in there.

Best backpack I've ever had. I had one before that lasted 5 years and counting but wanted a new one. This is perfect. Also the colors are awesome. It fits everything I've ever needed to put in a backpack. Love it.

I did not want this backpack. My previous NF backpack had an unfortunate accident and was beyond repair. I looked at every bag they had before deciding on this bag and I don't regret the upgrade. I miss my old bag, but this has a pocket specifically lined for my glasses and one to keep my computer save. The last bag had a pouch in the main compartment for my computer, but it still got scratched from time to time. This bag is so awesome and comfortable. I use it for everything. It's going to travel the world with me just like it's predecessor, but it's also nice enough to take into the office. I didn't want this bag, but I'm so happy I have it.

I'm very picky and maybe slightly ocd. I had ordered about 3-4 different brands and types of back pack that I thought would be great for everyday use but also for riding my motorcycle. I had been looking at this recon for awhile. Didn't pull the trigger on this one due to the fact that its not a motorcycle backpack. But now I'm glad I picked it up. First the materials seems to be pretty top notch. The size is perfect, not too big or small. I especially don't like wide backpacks when riding my bike. Besides the organizational features and other nice specs, I enjoy the easy access stash pocket the most. When I'm going to work I can just throw mey keys in there for easy access for later. When I'm riding my motorcycle and I have to take off my gloves, I can just shove them in the quick stash pocket and they fit pretty snug in there. Overall I'm glad I had picked up this pack, just wished I would have picked it up earlier rather then wasting my time ordering those other previous packs.

After my old NF backpack finally wore out after using it through college, grad school, and two years overseas, this is what I got to replace it. If it holds up as well as the last I will be extremely happy.

I'm using this bag for my first year in college, and I couldn't be more happy. It is both stylish, useful, and it perfectly fits my 15" laptop. The water bottle holders are lifesavers too.

My previous backpack was a NF recon bought in 2010 that I used up until I bought this one. Just goes to show how long lasting and durable these backpacks are! Always a good investment.
