I bought this for my junior year of high school and I thought it was a great bag that would last me a while. My sister has one and it has lasted her about 5 years so I decided it was time for me to get one. I absolutely love the new colors they have and I would buy it again.

I ordered this for a young girl starting junior high. She selected it from The North Face website and was beyond delighted when it arrived. She was thrilled with all of the pockets and special features.

It great it fits what I need for school

This is a gist to my daughter for school use (High School student) This is the 2nd year I've bought her one, (Last year I bought one more designed for backpacking than for books/school. She loves it.

This backpack is great for school it has the right amount of pockets for water bottles,pencils,books,computers and binders and notebooks.I got this backpack for high school (I'm a freshman) and I plan on using it all four years I'm there and I definitely think this will still be in good condition by the time I'm a senior. The back is padded so it's great with so many textbooks notebooks and binders on your when going from class to class. Friends have recommend this product to me and I definitely made the right decision purchasing it.

We bought this backpack for our high school freshman to use to tote books to and from classes. As she will live out of this backpack, we liked the separate compartment for her computer, and the outside pocket to catch odds and ends. She especially liked the color.

I love my Recon backpack it's great for all my books and my 15' laptop while traveling from school and back. Also a great sized carry on for an airplane. Although it did come a tad darker than I was expecting, which is understandable seeing that pictures can often can slightly distort colors.

Bought for my girlfriend, for upcoming trip which she needs to bring her laptop to take a final once we land. Backpack has a great separate pocket for laptop with out taking room away from other pockets. Backpack is def versatile and could be used for whatever she needs (school/work ect.

I use this backpack for school. It's got great back support I absolutely LOVE my Recon.

I really love my backpack. It is very comfortable and holds all of my books and supplies for school. It is easy to access different compartments in the backpack. The straps are also very comfortable. I walk around a lot and climb a bunch of stairs and my back doesn't hurt. I have used other backpacks where there was not that much support and it was always very uncomfortable and caused back, shoulder, and neck pain.

Use for weekend travel and excursions on longer trips. Bought one 25 years ago and just now replacing it.

My 14 year old daughter picked this backpack for school. It is very light weight and stylish. Plenty of room w/ several pockets. All zippers work. She loves it!

I would definitely recommend this as a great choice if your just looking for a back-to-school backpack or if you need anything where that requires a decent amount of pockets or space for outdoor activities and gear. North Face always pays attention to details and takes multiple considerations when designing it for the consumer.

I use it for traveling as my carry on bag. It has a lot of awesome secret little pockets

I went back and forth comparing different styles for my daughter going into high school. I wanted the roomiest backpack for books and large binders...And of course something that would last. I called customer service and a great associate gave me some great advice. This backpack is a perfect size...it fits books large binders and all other school day essentials. Highly recommend!!!
