I use this bag to make sure I have my books for class and my work items without having to carry 10 bags. Spacious, stylish and matches my coat perfectly. This bag is durable and distributes weight well. I barely feel bogged down with enough books to fit in a library, a laptop, and small essentials needed for daily life. Priceless

Got this to upgrade from my old Borealis. Love the color and design is great to keep everything organized.

Loved my last north face backpack I used daily for 6 years and like the materials, comfort, and look of this new one I use for getting my computer, documents, and lunch to and from my clinic while to old is my hiking one now. One major concern with this bag is if you put anything in the mid small pocket it won't sit upright because it top heavy. Two small issues are they got rid of the Clip on the front of the mesh bag making it useless to hold anything you don't want to lose and I miss the big pocket having a large computer sleeve instead of another unnecessary pocket of its own. Still like the bag for the most part

This is a very durable backpack and comfortable to carry.

North Face has never disappointed us. This is a great backpack. I got this for my daughter to start college this coming summer. I just ordered another one for my niece.

Super durable! I love it!

Hiking in a cold day makes for cold fingers when you are trying to grab your lip balm or a tissue. The compartments made this quick work. Mittens were barely off!

It's used for school. It's used for a computer, books, folders, and other school supplies. The light weight makes it easier to carry when I have multiple things to carry.

I purchased this for my high school aged daughter. She carries all of her books each day for school. This bag is really well made, comfortable and attractive. The only problem is the size. Unfortunately my daughter had to go back to using her older, larger bag.

I have purchased two of these packs over the last 5 years. They are both used daily by my sons to carry a ton of school books to and from school and classes. They have been extremely durable and have the right amount of humongous capacity my high school student needs. This pack has been a great investment.

I use this product in my everyday basis, to do school work, to travel and to work.

Great backpack and durable.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter for Christmas at her request. This backpack fits a tiny 80 lbs 5'4 young lady well and is very comfortable for her computer and books. She loves it for the elements. We live in MT and feels comfortable using for short outdoor trips; as well as, keeping stuff books dry in the snow and varied conditions when she travels for sports in MT including skiing. Great backpack.

It's not only comfortable and practical but looks good. Using for school and travel and works well for both.

Great backpack so far. I love show many pockets and separate areas there are in the backpack. Makes for great organization for school and travel.

My last NF bag was a Recon from 20 years ago. I finally decided to replace it with this. I like the laptop compartment. It fits my 19" ThinkPad. The main compartment isn't huge though. I like the organizer pouches, but honestly wished there were even more since I don't carry a separate purse if I take this bag to work/school. Super comfortable to wear.

I was juggling a few different brands of backpacks to try as my Swiss gear bag finally wore out after about 16 years of use. I was already leaning towards NorthFace as I have a few of thier jackets and they have held up over a decade so far. I decided on the Recon backpack and right off the bat I can tell this bag will last me for many years to come. High quality zippers, well designed compartments, and holds my MacBook securely in the extra laptop section. This is by far my favorite product I have purchased from the North Face. What I love about them is their stuff just lasts. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

I use this for school! It fits my laptop, binders, books, and more! My previous North Face lasted 4 years until I finally decided to upgrade to a bigger one!
