Loved it

I love the color, size, and fit. The backpack is definitely stiff when you first get it, but once you fit it to you and use it a little it will fit better. It fits my nalgene bottle that is really fat so that's awesome. The only thing I don't like is that the back panel piece on the inside is a little long and makes it easy for the backpack to fall over when you place it sitting up on the ground against your desk or a table. I also wish it had one more pocket in the front and there was a way to hide or take off the longer cords that dangle if you don't clip it on yourself. Love the pockets that are protected and extra soft and the mesh pocket in the front. Great color and great for a college student. Fits several books, notebooks, a folder, binder, and laptop!

I ordered this for my niece. We chose the hydro green color. The bag arrived and it's a sky blue. Not what we were expecting. Other than that, she really likes the bag.

I think this is perfect for school. It has many pockets for all the things I need between home and school. Fits my 17' laptop and multiple notebooks.

My son said its the best he has ever had!

Great for carrying those heavy college books AND protecting a computer. My daughter will get years of use out of this backpack.

This bag is used for an 8th grade student. She loves the colors and I love the durability of the bag. She had another north face bag, the borealis and it lasted her 3 yrs and she handed it down to her 3rd grade sister as she needed more room. The borealis is good for late elem. And middle school. The recon is great for 8th grade thru college. Hoping this bag will last thru high school and then be handed down which I'm sure it will. My daughter is small and the books were killing her back, all the other bags had no support. The northface bags have supportive spine pieces and cushiony straps. It's a great bag and I love the added whistle on the buckle. If she ever needs it ,it's there for her :)

My daughter wanted this to use for college. She liked the color and that it has a special laptop storage area.

I use this to go to school and for soccer gear.

I bring this backpack with me wherever I go! Whether I'm bringing it to school, on a backpacking trip on the Appalachian trail, or a day trip to New York, this bag is perfect in every situation. It is durable, resistant to things like dirt and water, and there is a place for everything I need (not to mention it it is extremely stylish and cool!).

I love the backpack except for the size of the front pocket.

I absolutely love this backpack. The back is straight and prevents things, such as folders, from bending. This can cause a slight discomfort but is necessary for the safety of your items! Plenty fits in it and it isn't too uncomfortable to wear. Looks great too!

I use it for everything, but mostly school. Since I spend long days on my campus, and it is by far the best backpack I have ever had. It IS worth the money. Comfortable and not too bulky or too small. It is the perfect fit for this bear.

Every year since my Goddaughter started school it became a tradition that I buy her a backpack for her birthday, which is the weekend before the new school year starts. This year she starts Middle school and I already got an A+ for the year getting her this backpack. She said her first week with it to school felt and looked awesome on her! It is the best Choice yet! Durable and comfortable!

Super sturdy n great for college

The colors are so attractive, but after adding ny school supplies inside. It lacks space and constantly fearing the straps will break off because they are not really well atached. With all the cushion added the straps it still causes your shoulders with SO MUCH PAIN!!!!! Last season straps were so much better!

I am a high school student and it fits all my binders. Luckily, I can leave all my textbooks at home because I wouldn't to be able to fit everything in there, but it would be hard to find a backpack that could! There is lots of pockets for my pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. The pocket without the zipper in the front is great for carrying my little purse and lunch and the bottle pockets on the side are great and don't let my bottle slide out. The straps are comfy and the computer slip is great. My favorite part is the top pocket that is lined for my phone and my sunglasses, easy access!

I'm able to carry my class folders and books along with my clarinet case.

Love the new design features and the color. I got the dark gray with pink(ish) straps, its beautiful! I use this backpack for school mostly but also for our weekend adventures. Its hiked to the top of mountains, roughed it camping in the wilderness, put up with my boys over-filling it with rocks, sticks and other outdoor treasures and still looks great. I had a previous North Face backpack that was great to the end, so I'm hoping this one will last and hold up just as well. Its a little stiff and heavy but after wearing and breaking it in a bitt, its more comfortable. Probably not a lot I can do to fix how heavy it is, but hopefully that just means its durable.

As a commuter student in college, I needed something that would do well when walking around campus and going from one place to another. This bag holds a lot and has pockets for almost everything. I love this bag, and I don't think I would buy another one besides this one!

I was looking for a backpack that could finally handle all of my classes at once. Since I only had them twice a week I was looking for a backpack that could handle all of those books. I found one! I was/am so happy with this backpack and plan on if it ever wears out getting another!
