Quality boot - These boots fit great, and keep my feet dry and warm. I would recommend them to anyone looking for some mid-cut boots

A good boot - The only problem I had with these boots was that they were just a smidge too narrow for my wide feet. Otherwise, they were perfect!

Timberlands - They seem to run a size large..I have not tested their waterproof ability yet-Lets hope! They look great, could be more padded and arch support though. Good ankle support!

These boots take awhile to break in but are very comfortable after. Love the look and they are seemingly nice quality. Unfortunately these did not last they only were worn for about two months before showing a lot of wear. They started falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone working in the trades. My fiancé is a union carpenter and these did not make it long.

I've had a couple of pairs of these. They're fairly comfortable for moderate walking around in slushy weather, and in black they can sort of cut it as office wear. So in nasty weather I wear them to work. But I find the soles too flexible and overall they don't provide much support. The soles last about a season before they become to warm to provide grip in the snow. On a long walk, or standing around in the snow watching my kid go down the sled hill, my feet wind up sore and fatigued. I'd say it's more accurate to call these sturdy high-top shoes than true boots. For that, they're quite good. But don't expect them to function like a hiking or work boot.

Wanted to love the shoe but I have wide feet and this shoes' wide version is probably narrower than a regular width shoe. If you have wide feet don't bother.

1. It's not WATERPROOF as it say. 2. Wear it and walk couple hour in sub-Zero temperature, already have cold feet.

Did not find these very comfortable, even after daily wear at work for a month so far. I walk a lot and am hoping these break in eventually. No rain so far this season, so don't know if waterproof yet.

I work outside. I found out very quickly that the Mid Waterproof Timberland's did not stand up to what was advertised!

When I opened the box, it looked like it had been repackaged. The left shoe was tied all the way to the top. The right was only tied about 2/3 of the wash up. Booth boots were stuffed with paper but the left looked like it had been removed and torn and stuffed back in different than the right. It looks like a little little wear on the sole.

I had high hopes for these boots, and they are comfortable and in my limited use waterproof. However, after only a week of light use, one of the shoelace holder rivets came out of the leather. I will follow up with Timberland for warranty.

As a UPS driver I'm on my feet all day and night. a fellow driver suggested these to me and I gave them a shot. wore them to work 1 day and had blisters on 6/10 toes from how narrow the front of the shoe was for me. I never buy wide fit shoes either. Also, cannot get a refund or anything since I wore them once. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this purchase.

I have been using it for the past few months for work (lawn maintenance) and the sole is detaching already. Which means water is constantly going in. Didn’t think after 3-4 months this would happen.

I would love to tell you about them but I can't. The reason I can't is because timberland shipped my boots to the wrong address and I have yet to go pick them up. I even placed the order with a live operator who took down my requested ship to address and it STILL shipped to my billing address not the address I requested them to be sent to.

I bought these boots, thought they were great. My husband wore them for 1 month and the sole has completely separated from the boot. So disappointed.

I bought Timberland White Ledge Mid's for my recent trip to Yosemite. I made sure I wore the boots a couple days in a row to help break them in before doing any hiking in them. So I was taking on the upper Yosemite falls hike which is pretty strenuous (2700ft in 3 miles one way). The trail consisted of your basic dirt and rock and had no stream crossings meaning it was dry. About 2 miles into my hike my wife asked how the boots were holding up and I glanced down and to my surprise the out-seem on my right boot was coming undone. It seemed like that was the weak point in the leather. I figured it was just a defective boot but when I got back to the trail head I noticed the left boot was doing the exact same thing. I was pretty upset that these boots buckled under a little pressure. I called Zappos and they said they would refund the full amount. The boot felt awesome and besides them falling apart at the 2 mile mark, they were pretty good boots.

Work Boot - I wear these as a work boot and they are really comfortable, since I stand up almost the whole time at work. Being water proof helps a great deal as well since I work outdoors.

The Versatile Icon: A Study of Timberland Boots The Timberland boot, specifically the classic 6-inch "Yellow Boot," stands as a rare cultural phenomenon that transcends its original utilitarian purpose. Originally engineered in 1973 for the rugged New England working class, these boots were designed to withstand harsh elements through innovative injection-molding technology, ensuring they remained waterproof and durable. However, their journey from the construction site to the global fashion stage reveals a complex narrative of craftsmanship, subcultural adoption, and enduring style. In terms of construction, Timberland boots are a masterclass in functional design. Built with premium nubuck leather, seam-sealed waterproofing, and heavy-duty lug soles, they provide a level of protection and longevity that few other footwear options can match. The padded collar and taslan laces are practical features that have become aesthetic signatures. This uncompromising commitment to quality meant that even as the brand pivoted toward fashion, the core integrity of the boot remained unchanged, satisfying both the manual laborer and the style enthusiast alike. The boot's transition into a fashion icon was largely fueled by its adoption within hip-hop culture during the 1990s. In cities like New York, the "Timbs" became a symbol of urban resilience and status. This organic endorsement catapulted the brand into the mainstream, where it was embraced by diverse groups ranging from outdoor adventurers to high-fashion designers. Today, the Timberland boot is celebrated for its versatility, effortlessly pairing with everything from rugged denim to tailored streetwear, proving that true utility never goes out of style. Ultimately, Timberland boots represent more than just footwear; they are a testament to the power of authentic design. By maintaining their rugged DNA while adapting to shifting cultural landscapes, they have secured their place as a timeless wardrobe essential. Whether navigating a snowy trail or a city street, the Timberland boot continues to offer a unique blend of heritage, durability, and unmistakable character.

This is the second pair of Timberland boots I've owned. First pair was good, but this pair are great. They fit perfect, I just have to slide my feet in with no issue. Can walk all day with no discomfort at all. Planning on doing some serious outdoor hiking and will need a second pair soon and I won't hesitate to purchase these boots again.
