Work shoes - I purchased my first pair of Timberland's 30 months ago as an everyday work shoe. My first pair still looks good and functions well. It stood up well to the elements and cleans up to an almost new appearance. Needing to replace my old pair, Timberland was my first on only choice. I expect the same or better performance from my newest selection. Good look, good comfort, good shoe.

Wore very well! I bought a pair of these last year. they were a great pair of work shoes for me. Plenty of shock absorption, nicely waterproof and they wore pretty well considering I walk on pavement most of my day. Testament to dryness... I worked outside during the Southern Cal. flood in 01/05...in 2" to 6" water... feet never got wet!!! I recommend the value in this shoe.

James - I've had Timberland White Ledge for 2 weeks and it's a very comfortable and definitely waterproof and true to size. My son liked them so much, he ordered a pair and he couldn't be happerier.

Truly waterproof! Finally, a boot that is truly waterproof. My husband works outside and even in the heavy downpours we have been having recently, his feet stay dry as a chip!! He says these boots are very comfortable and he just loves them. Had to get a size 15 which is hard to find but luckily Zappo's accommodates!!!

Great boots!! These are the most comfortable pair of Timberlands that I've ever owned. Very cushioned insole with ventilation holes so your feet don't perspire in these. Great support also. Would highly recommend these boots!!

Thumbs up to the Timberland White Ledge Mid Waterproof - They felt comfortable and true to size right out of the box. I find them to be very light and true to their claim of being waterproof. I was forced to put them to the test just a couple of days after receiving them. Submerged in water and caked in mud, my feet stayed dry and the boots were easily cleaned. I am very pleased with the boots and would recommend them to anyone wanting a boot that backs up what it promises.

Best value for the money - Sure, you can pay $200.00 or more for a pair of boots, but for less than half that you can have boots that are the high priced equal!! I wear mine day in and day out in all kinds of weather, on concrete, rough, non-skid metal,etc. and they hold up!! Plus they are waterproof(really warerproof)! This is my third pair of Timberlands (in 6 years) and each pair fit the same. Sizing is consistanyly excellent. P.S. You wont want to take them off at the end of the day!!

I use these boots to walk my dog. We walk mild terrain now only because she has injured herself on the rugged ones we used to go on. The boots are fine (I have a pair of Timberline boots that are over 35 years old and still in great shape! I bought these because they were supposed to be water proof. I have tried three or different brand making the same claim and returned them all as within 3-6 months try all leaked in just wet grass or medium rain. The first pair of these started leaking in a heavy storm in the first six weeks! I called a representative at Zappos and looked at the description of the boots and thought perhaps they were defective and recommended I return them and try another pair. I did so but have treated them the way I did with the old ones I treated them with mink oil as the old ones with no waterproof claim stood up in wet conditions . I am hoping this will work as I really like the boots which are lighter than the old ones.

Have had probably 5 pairs of this boot or its cousin over the years. They may not last as long as they used to, but hard to find anything near as comfortable or versatile.

Good, solid boot, but very narrow. Had to return.

I usually buy Keen boots but couldn't find a pair that fit as good as they usually do, so I tried these. I have big feet, 14 or 15, I ordered both sizes and found the 15 able to accommodate my power step insoles and still have some wiggle room without any heel slip. They are fairly lightweight, comfy and so far waterproof. I use them for tree spraying and other arbor work, if they last a season I will consider them a bargain. I would recommend these for light hiking, work boots or kicking around town. Nice grippy soles and good ankle support, plus more leather and fewer seams or fabric than many other choices.

Size is true to fit. Not the best price, but Zappos shipping may compensate. Haven't worn them hiking yet, however, just walking around they're comfortable.

The sole started coming apart after a fairly leisurely month or two of wear (into the office etc). A little super glue though and they are still holding up a year later with much use. Very comfortable off the beaten path camping, hiking etc. Not the best boot I've owned but for the price I'm very satisfied. They are definitely waterproof, and with some wool socks even warm in the winter.

These are solid boots. Immediately comfortable. The hook system for the laces works great. When you untie the boot, the laces release fully, allowing the boot to slip right off. All boots should use this system. When I wear these out, I'll buy another pair.

Roughed up my feet for a couple of days, but now they're the most comfortable boots I've had in years.

These boots fit like a glove the moment I put them on and also felt like I had already been wearing them two months. The last pair of Timberland boots I've owned lasted 22 years. These do not appear as well-built, but still a good leather upper and metal lace eyelets.

This is an awesome work shoe. The fit was great, as was the comfort. I work outside in all kinds of weather conditions. My next pair will be higher (8").
