Got them quickly, as usual. Put them on, walked a mile. Very comfortable, slightly large but I was wearing light weight summer cotton ankle height sock. Hiking socks or wool socks will take care of that. Happy with the purchase.

I am an experienced hiker/backpacker. After trying a few pair of different and more expensive brands, I have stuck to this style of Timberland ankle boot for about 15 years. I have had maybe 5 or 6 pair in this span of time. I found boots that work for me, offering good foot protection on long hikes. In 2015, I did an 77 mile 7 day on the Foothills trail in South Carolina. In 2017, I did a 60 mile 5 day loop hike on the NC Bartram and AT trail. They keep your feet dry if you keep water from entering over the tops. Yesterday, I did a 12+mile West Central Florida hike with a group. It was hot! My old Timberland boots did fine and my feet felt great! The size tag on my old boots was still readable so ordering correct size was not an issue for me. I wear a size 9.5 dress shoe. My Timberland's are 10W. I don't use the factory insert but replace it with low cost inserts from Walmart. First time buying from Zappos. I am very pleased with the seller.

These are the only boots my BF will wear. He loves the comfortable fit, grippy soles, and that they’re waterproof.

I hate working in these work boots because they look so good. I've tried to get over that and worn them in snow, ice and mud. Never a problem.

Got this for my son who works on a grounds crew. He needed a waterproof work boot and he loves it! Light weight, very comfortable! He’s happy!

I have had these boots for about a week. I’m breaking them in now on neighborhood streets. They seem a little stiff now , but leather boots are like that. Will be going on mountain trails in a few weeks. All indications are that these boots will meet my expectations.

These are great boots. The toe box is nice and wide/open giving lots of room, yet the shoe still fits 'right'. Would definitely purchase again.

I have only had these a short time - but they were comfortable from the first time I put them on. Great feeling boot and good looking too. Time will tell if they hold up - but to this point I am very happy with them.

I knew exactly what I wanted and got it just right from Zappos. Ordered on Friday and they were delivered on Sunday (paid for the quick delivery). My old ones lasted years and Zappos makes it easy to find shoes in my size (15).

I needed a size 15 and it fits just as it should. The length, width and support and comfort are spot on. I had a pair of these boots that I finally wore out. For me there was no substitute.

My husband is a landscaper and hes in love with these boots. Hes on his feet 10+ hrs a day, sometimes 7 days a week. He says they are so comfortable. These lasted about a year, and would have lasted longer but he got them really dirty and didnt want to bring them in the house, so he threw them out. But they last through all kinds of weather. Hes constantly walking through wet grass, mud, rain, and even snow sometimes and his feet never get wet. Had to buy them for him again this year, and they are definitely worth the price.

My husband's favorite waterproof hiking boot ever. He wears a 10 Wide due to a bunion on one foot. So many other wide boots have not been a good fit (not wide enough generally) but these Timberland's he says were comfortable right out of the box. He hikes the hills daily and it's been raining a fair amount the last 2 weeks. So far, he says the boots have been absolutely weather tight. His favorite boots ever (and he's been through many pairs) Highly recommended.

My husband loved these right out of the box. Finally a "wide" that accommodated his bunion. Super sturdy yet comfortable. Hiked in the rain first day out....stayed dry and comfortable. Win win!

I wanted something fairly lightweight to wear to work that would keep my feel warm and dry through the 1/4 mile parking lot full of snow. These fit the bill perfectly. They fit great and and were comfortable right out of the box. I was pleasantly surprised by the arch support. The soles are very sticky, even on wet floors. Another nice surprise. I am able to stay comfortable while being on my feet wearing these for most of the day. They look to be well made, but time will tell. I could see these being good for a light hike or car camping trip, but I don't know if I would trust them on a Boundary Waters or backpacking trip. Mine tend to want to roll my foot inwards, which I have never noticed with any other show before.

My first pair of timberlines, and I love them. True to my normal size, and very comfortable. Unlacing is fast and easy. They look great with jeans and shorts, and being waterproof is a plus. Ordered on Saturday night and go them on Monday - how Zappos does this I don’t know.

I love Timberland boots! I'm very hard to fit and these boots fit better than any other brand I've tried. If I have any complaint its the arch support but I have extremely high arches and have to add support.

it is November 2018, I am fixing to order these boots again to replace a pair that I originally ordered back in December 2010. These boots were not worn everyday until they became the only pair I had left, so that added to the longevity. I had and used a couple other brands of boots that I tossed out as they worn out beyond their usefulness. Of the all the boots I had, these are the only ones I am ordering an exact replacement for. They are a comfortable and rugged boot. They fit well and don't hurt the feet if you happen to be in them all day. I used mink oil form time to time to soften, condition and water proof the leather. They have been used for some hiking, working around the farm, hunting, fishing from muddy river banks and riding the motorcycle. I have been happy enough with them to get another pair.

I've been buying these for years and thankfully they haven't changed them. Great all-around boot that I primarily use as a work boot. For light hiking I wear the Timberland Chocorua Trail Mid Waterproof, which is a very similar boot. So, if you are looking for a truly waterproof boot (this one is not) then it is a good choice. They both fit well right out of the box with literally no break-in. The upper is relatively soft (but durable) and the foot bed/insole is firm but still supportive but may be lacking in arch support for some. The Chocorua is noticeably warmer with a slightly tighter fit.

The BEST boots I've ever owned. Just bought a new pair and they feel awesome-- even right out of the box. I would recommend for work, snow, hiking, or even comfortable walking shoes.
