Looks Great - The Ipath Grasshoppers are really cool shoes and look very good, but do not get the burlap ones to skate with. I got the Combat Burlap ones for Christmas and after a few days, maybe about 20 kickflips, there was a large hole on the toe. Burlap does not make a good material for skating, so if you are planning on skating with these, you should get a different material.

Ipath Grasshopper - These shoes were comfortable, but the grip wore out in 1 week, and there were holes in the toe and I didn’t even skate in these. Basically anything bad that can happen did, so they weren’t that great of a shoe. I had massive holes in the soles and the toes.

These shoes went bald SOOOOO quick...the sole went flat in 10 days...but they are very comfortable and give great support...the toe cap doesn't rip at all...but if you don’t care about the soles wearing out quick...then they're really good.

I like these shoes a lot. The ankle support is nice because I broke my ankle twice and both times it was in low-ride Vans. I never broke my ankle in these! Now I can still skate in these and I only have slight arthritis! But I won't break it again with these, and kickflip 10 stairs! Thanks!

Nice fit, good price. However the Velcro strap is not removable like on other Ipath models. Also there is no stash pocket on the tongue. Both were big let-downs.

I bought a pair of the Hemp/Suede Grasshoppers well over 5 years ago, and they are still holding strong, I am an avid skateboarder and have traveled all over the US and Europe with these shoes. Not only are they strong, they are also light and keep your feet cool, something that many skate shoes don't do. Noticing some of the comments about the shoes not lasting, is not new to me, product quality sometimes varies from iPath, as I have had issues with other products (not shoes) that I have bought from them. I don't know what their deal is and why their quality differs. I encourage you to try their products, if they don't work for you, send them a letter and ask for a return, or exchange.

Ipath Grasshopper (rasta) are very stylish shoes but after first putting them on I find the shoes to be very narrow. I will update this if I can if the shoes will stretch to better fitting.

I have had these for about 6 months now. I was loving them up until the other day when I looked down and saw a big hole where the upper cloth area meets the sole. I doubt I will be purchasing anymore shoes made with hemp.
