A perennial favorite - I just ordered my 6th pair of these sandals. Every summer, I order a new pair and wear the new ones for dress-up and last year's for every day until I wear them out. People love them and even stop me to ask the brand name. In addition, to beautiful, they are more comfortable than most shoes and have exemplary arch support.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They fit perfectly and looked SO stylish, but the raffia band over the foot was very stiff and hurt my feet when I walked. Super bummed they didn't work for me.

The way the shoe platform was shaped was really uncomfortable and did not fit my feet at all. I do have narrow feet but the sides by my instep was pressing up against some hard plastic edge of the shoe. I did try the shoe in multiple colors because it was such a beautiful design. Had to return all.

Perfect fit, great color

I LOVE these sandals!! I have had my eye on these sandals for a few years now, but just couldn't rationalize the price. Finally, I caved. I'm glad I did. These sandals are soo comfortable and they look great. I have received compliments on them every time I've worn them. A great shoe and of course dizzying shipping speed from Zappos.

I have these shoes for 2 summers now and they have held up wonderfully - Comfy & stylish. Have/had many Donald Pliner shoes and these live up to the Pliner reputation.

Timeless! True fit, big on comfort and style. Dress them up or down, one of my all time favorites!

Never out-dated sandal - Love the design of this sandal. Get lots of compliments all the time...the perfect sandal....different, chic, comfortable, catches the eye...My daughter-in-law had bought this same sandal before I met her! She feels the same way about it. Has had hers re-soled.

Best sandal ever! These are my absolute favorites! I own 3 pairs and a few of my friends now swear by them. I hope Pliner never stops making them. In New York I walked between 3 and 5 miles a day and my feet felt fine. They're also great for airport travel. Plus I get loads of compliments.

Great sandals - These are my favorite sandals. Have nearly worn them out so am searching for another pair. I've had more compliments on these shoes than any other pair of shoes I've ever owned. They are so comfortable, I always choose them if I'm going to have a long day on my feet.

Break-in time required - I absolutely love the look of this shoe; but was woefully disappointed in the comfort. Like others I expected more; but the "soft leather upper" was hard and unforgiving. If you love the design as much as I do; give it time, the upper does soften and they become much more comfortable.

These are very attractive shoes, but they are also very stiff. The sole is quite hard and does not bend at all. The upper is also stiff, and the thong comes across at an angle and rubs between my toes. I wear thongs often, so I'm sure it’s the way the shoe is made and not just that I am not used to thong sandals. The arch support is excellent, and unlike most Donald J. Pliner shoes, these do not run narrow. However, I ended up returning them because they were so stiff I figured they would rub blisters on my feet. I might be willing to try breaking them in if they were less expensive, but I would not want to waste this much money if they don't 'soften up.' If they were ever made with a different type of sole, I would give them another try because they look so nice.

I ordered the navy fifi and the photo posted showed a shoe with a cork bed and light tan base. I received a shoe with the hard black shoe bed. The leather top of the shoe looked plastic and was lined with what looked like a faux leather lining. Returning the shoes. What has happened to this once quality brand. Very disappointing.

...there is NO soft leather upper, the entire shoe fits as comfortably as a rock. You cannot move the sole or the top of the shoe...
