I got these for yard work, cutting lawn, raking, etc., instead of wearing the usual old pair of sneakers. They\'re great! Much lighter than a work boot, have good support and very comfortable. Don\'t ever realize they have a steel toe.

These sneakers fit great. True to size and width. My experience with Zappos was fantastic. Steel toed sneakers were very hard to find. Zappos not only had a large selection, wide price range, and great shipping (free) and return policy. I had purchased another pair from a different manufacturer that was not true to size. Zappos has free return shipping and my account was credited once they received the returned sneakers. I will definitely shop Zappos for my next shoe purchase.

Great work shoe! My husband loves these shoes for work during the warmer months when he wears shorts. He has to have all the things these shoes provide. They were slightly tight at first, but after the first day of wearing, they stretched to fit perfectly.

Zappos rocks! This is my first pair of "shoes" from Zappos but I have ordered 3 pairs of boots in the past and I have been nothing but happy with all of them. These shoes are light, comfortable, and durable. I like the look of them and so does my wife. Best of all I ordered these late on a Friday standard ground and still got them on Monday! Love Zappos!

A delivery guy looking for a durable shoe/boot - ...being on my feet all day, I needed something comfortable, yet durable. After 1 month, I'm pleased with these shoes. I like them because they’re not heavy like other steel toes. My only negative is they don't have a lot of padding; however, they are surprisingly comfortable even out of the box.

Nice casual work boot - Great style, comfort, and protection. Don’t need to break in like a more robust work boot.

Timberland PRO's best work shoes made - Great work shoe, extremely lightweight, great fit, excellent support, I almost feel like I'm wearing sneakers. Timberland PRO's are the best work shoe period. I also have the Timberland PRO TITAN Oxford Safety Toe Low which are amazing as well and look great, I can wear them out and you would never know. No break in period at all which is great. I can’t wear any other work shoe after buying these, others can’t compare.

Almost Perfect - Good: The shoes look great, feel great (mostly), and were at a good price. Bad: I say "feels great (mostly)" because if I tighten the laces too tight, it rubs a certain spot on the top of my foot and becomes very uncomfortable unless I loosen the laces; it's not a big deal once you get a feel for how to tie the shoe. Also, I usually wear a 9.5, but found that was too big in this shoe. I had to exchange for a 9. The process was very quick though.

Great Shoes for work. Very comfortable and not as heavy or hot like other Steel Toes.

Loved it - I got this for my husband, who is a mechanic. He is very picky with his work shoes, but he loved everything about it.

Fantastic - I replaced my old Stanley work shoes with these when they wore out. I am not disappointed in the least. They do what they say they do, and are comfortable (as comfortable as a shoe can be). Aggressive tread on bottom good for outdoors and hiking. Fit well, and I have narrow feet.

Excellent Shoe - This is my second pair of Timberland mudsill shoes. I like this shoe because of its casual look and feel. The steel toe is a necessity in my line of work. The color is excellent especially if you wear blue jeans a lot like me. The shoes have enough space inside to put in an insole if you want more cushion for those extra long days.

Buy these! These are by far the best steel toe shoes I have ever worn. And what’s even better is that my work covers the cost. I would definitely buy these again.

Work shoes - My husband loves the look and feel of the shoes. After a day of ten hours on his feet, he said his feet did not hurt. He liked them a lot.

This is my 2nd pair of these. These shoes seem to last well for the money. The lightweight design makes them better than some others to work in. There is a break in period as they are a little stiff out of the box. The laces tend to be a little too long and if you cut them they are sure to fray. The waffle / tractor tread soles make great dog poop magnets. All in all a pretty good shoe. Easy on...easy off and durable. The soles are starting to separate from the uppers in the mid-front in my older pair, but they are over 2 yrs old.

Fell apart - I’m really not one to complain. In fact, I usually hate people who do complain. This is a different story I had them for about a month, and the leather over the steel part starting wearing off, it happened to the other shoe after about 3 months. I used a sharpie black marker to color in the missing leather till I finally decided enough is enough and purchased a different pair of shoes. These shoes look great at first but they fall apart after a month. I don’t even do construction I just put together furniture.

Best work shoes in years of plumbing experience - This shoe I’ve found is the most comfortable, flexible, ventilated, durable and cost-effective work shoe. I found these work shoes a few years back at work and gear, but then they stopped carrying them...went through a couple of years of having to go without - then found them at Zappos! Thank you Zappos! From a very grateful customer with hard to please feet!!

Pure Comfort - I work on my feet all day and these shoes are amazing. You can't even tell they are steel toe because of how light-weight they feel. Real good grip on oily floors and my feet breath get a chance to breath. I highly recommend them.

Exactly what we were looking for! This shoe is being used by my son, who works at the local airport. He works on the ramp fueling planes and doing general logistical work. Moving biz jets and other general private aviation. The job requires steel toe and he wanted something comfortable. This is the perfect shoe for the job.

Very light for a steel toe - This shoe is quite comfortable, and very light for a steel-toed sneaker. I haven't hiked in it yet, but after walking 20 or 30 blocks in NY my feet feel perfectly fine. It's a low shoe, so there isn't a lot of ankle support, but the arch support is good and the cushioning works very well. My only complaint is that the shoelaces tie in a weird place on the foot, and if you like your shoes tied tight, it's not very comfortable.

Timberland, you hit a grand slam home run!! I've tried these twice in a ships engine room, an inherently dangerous workplace, and these are incredibly tough. Great comfort, lightweight, and look good. Feet stay dry too. I highly recommend them.

Excellent Comfort for everyday work - I was looking for a shoe that feels and looks good to go to work or go out. The Timberlands feel true to both things plus gives me the extra protection I need at work, so it makes a good overall shoe for me.
