Not pretty, but safe & comfortable - Secure tread even on ice, comfortable fleece lining. Easy on/off with one hand. Very warm.

Extra wide boot fits high arches and actually does up. I generally have to have shoes made for me, it isn't cheap. I am very pleased with the fit of these boots, didn't think I'd ever find any to fit my 5E width and still be able to fasten them over my high arch. These really fit well. I would say that if you are not used to wearing wide widths you may find that you need a half size smaller since, in a wide shoe, your foot slides forward more. The only thing I would change is the heel. I should have paid more attention to the heel height as I would prefer to have a bit more height. My fault not the boot. We have had more snow this year than in many years past and I am thrilled to be warm and dry in these boots. I especially like the tread which seems to grip the ground better than average. No falls yet this year. Thanks to Zappos for offering such a wide variety of shoes and boots to fit almost all foot types. I have a tough time getting extra wide shoes and boots in Canada.

I couldn't believe how fast these boots arrived. I ordered online about 10 pm and they arrived the next afternoon. With your good return policy I do not hesitate to order from Zappos. I wear a narrow size which is hard to find at most shoe stores. Thanks again for the great service.

I bought these boots for my mother, who is 81 years old, but they are attractive enough, I would love to have a pair for myself. My mom is hard to fit since she needs a wide width, and prior to learning about Zappos.com, I had spent a lot of time trying to find just what she needed in local stores but had no luck. The reviews of other purchasers helped me to decide to order a half size larger than her regular shoe size, and it turned out perfectly. My mom is thrilled with the boots and said they are extremely comfortable and the sole has such great tread that she always feels she has secure footing, even on all the ice, slush and snow we've had since she got the boots. In addition, they're warm. Since my mom has quite severe arthritis, another feature that made me choose these boots is the wide velcro fastening, which makes it very easy to get them on and off. They are wonderful, and a great value for the price.

Hard to fit - Great shoe all around. I especially love the removable innersoles. They are very warm also, just like they claimed. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Warm & cozy - These are great for Chicago's winter. They aren't heavy and the fleece inside keep your toes warm. Easy to put on.

Propet Frost Walkers - I am very pleased with my boots. I have a hard tome finding a proper fit. These are just right. They are warm, look great, and feel wonderful.

Excellent Snow Shoes, Too - This is my second winter season in Chicago with these boots as my only footwear. They're very warm. Even when it's below zero outside, these boots hold up. I even took them to San Francisco in late December as my only pair of footwear, since I figured it would rain there. These boots held up. They are a good fit, for difficult to fit feet. Also, let me temper my marks by adding that I wear orthotics. So arch support feels perfect to me. For me, the boots feel a little bit narrower than described, but I have a very high arch as well as a wide foot.

Great boot - Was in Duluth MN for a week. Temperatures were between 0 and 20. Feet were toasty the whole week. Found these boots to be very comfortable.

Keep tootsies warm in cold weather - Comfy, toasty, and true to size. Just what I need for walking on cold streets.

I think it will be fine - The weather hasn't required I wear these boots... yet, but I'm sure they will be fine. It was exactly what I was looking for. Waterproof, low-rise, easy-on/off... essentially they possess the convenience of casual shoe that hopefully will keep my feet dry and warm. It's a practical, sure-footed boot. There are no fashion embellishments. It's sleek and under the radar. I expect to get many, many years of wear from it. My primary reason for selecting this boot was the promise of waterproof and it was offered in an extra wide width. It's not so wide that my feet are sliding back and forth, but it does give me just enough extra room that if I wanted to put on a pair of heavy socks I'd be fine.

Propet's Frost Walker - I am enjoying wearing this boot and am very thankful to be able to find it in a 4WWWW size. It is a comfortable shoe and it is easy in this wide size to fit over my brace to enable me to walk on the left leg which is paralyzed and required to wear a brace to mobilize it. Thank you for a wide 4 WW boot and please keep making 4WW wide shoes for the disabled.

Zappos Did It Again!!! It has been a year or more since I have purchased from Zappos and I asked myself, "why not?" This time I needed a pair of boots and came to Zappos. I dread going to stores because I have VERY wide feet and nothing fits. I am thrilled with my Propet Frost Walker boots. Gorgeous they are not BUT the adjustable strap gives wide feet room to breathe and room for a warm pair of socks. To sweeten the deal Zappos sent it overnight. I have just ordered a pair of shoes but I know if they don't fit I won't have a problem with returning them for another pair. My ONLY disappointment is that they were not made in the USA. THANK YOU ZAPPOS!!!

I love these boots! In addition to the comfort and warmth, the design of these boots makes them easy-on, easy-off, perfect for slipping on to take the dogs outside. I've been wearing them to do fall yard cleanup work too just because I enjoy wearing them. Fashion boots, they're not but if you want a really useful boot, this is it.

Incredible! I needed boots for a family ski trip we were taking to Vermont. Thank goodness I had these - I would have been miserable without them! They are comfortable, toasty warm without sweating and not bulky. I love them!

Great dog walkers! These are the best for throwing on quickly for walking those little 4-leggers who don't care what kind of weather it is. They can't wait! The shoes go on quickly. They are warm. They are weatherproof! They are comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Propet--Great boot for walking on winter sidewalks - The Frost Walker is exactly as described, though I had to order a 1/2 size larger than usual. Easy on and off, excellent traction, and warm. Few boots come in narrow sizes, so I consider this boot a great find.

Wide feet - This was my second pair. I bought them two years ago. They are warm and waterproof. They are comfortable for my 6-5E wide feet.

Fit and comfort, wow - Great fit, comfortable, look...it's a boot! Get over it, this is warm, dry and soooo easy to slip on. Here in snow country Rochester New York it is a blessing.

Great Boot but get a bigger size than normal - I loved the look and feel of these except my toes were cramped. The width was true to size, but the shape of the toes is small. I will be reordering another pair in a size bigger for toe room.

I got the Propet Snow Walker boots last year in a 6-1/2 2E and they're great. I recently bought the Frost Walkers after a hip replacement left me unable to tie my shoes. Both styles are on the clunky side but do the job. Out of the box the Frost Walkers feel stiffer than the Snow Walkers and also smaller, probably because of the fake fur lining, but are as warm as the Snows even with lighter socks. Based on previous reviews, I got these a half size larger than usual (7 2E) and the fit is comfortable. The velcro opening is secure and makes for easy on and off. If you want to wear heavy socks, I'd recommend going up a full size.

Update on my first review! I still think this is a comfortable, well-fitting boot, and Propet is definitely the company to search if you have wide feet, but after seeing this in both the black, and the brown/taupe, they just are not as attractive as I would like. I don't care for either color, so, with regret, because they are comfortable, I am sending them back, and trying again.
