Overall, these are nice boots. I love the Timberland PRO series of boots and have had many pairs. I decided to go a little off-course when I ordered these ones in hope of an upgrade. If you have larger legs DO NOT ORDER THESE BOOTS. The stitching and padding around the ankle opening has a bulge at the very back, right on the Achilles tendon. I wore these boots for LESS THAN 1 DAY and was experiencing rubbing, pressure, and chaffing from the bulge in the ankle padding. I will be ordering a different pair of Timberland PRO. But those with larger legs, particularly calves, save yourself the trouble and order a different style.

Not a bad boot, good quality for the price. But runs big and wide. Recommend going a half size down. Also the insole in this boot is too thin, needed to buy the ani-fatigue insoles. Better to spend the extra money and get the Barstow Wedge, wich still needed to order a half size down.

The pull tab broke the second time I tried to put these boots on. Quality is a joke... and I'm very careful with my stuff. They were also a little bulky but ran big for a 13. Tough being in between 12/13.

I personally don't like the look of them and never owned a pair so take he review with a grain of salt. But the guy I worked with bought these and on the second day the sole was tearing. It was starting to split horizontally (so along the entire length). He was banging out concrete so just beware they may not handle the tough jobs.

All day on my feet in an auto shop. The insoles are sub par for sure. Outer leather has held well but the boots are so uncomfortable I can not wear them anymore. Need to improve the comfort so that they aren't worthless before leather wears out.

I have large feet and they're swimming in these boots. I'm returning them for a whole size smaller. I hope all the reviews about them coming apart at the seams aren't true.

These boots are awful. I don't know what happened to Timberland over the past 10 years, but this is the second time I've been disappointed. I ordered a pair of Eastland "lumber ups" after I got these, and there was no comparison. I sent the Timberlands back. Total crap.
I'd also recommend:
Eastland

I got these boots and three months later the stitches are already coming apart. I took the time to treat the leather. I wear them daily for my job on a farm/ranch, but have had other brands last much longer.

I wore these boots for less than 2 hours and the glue that holds the sole on is already failing. These boots also run an entire size too large.

My line of work asphalt paving. After one week of use, specifically 5 days, the soles warped. Like melted. I do not recommend at all.

in three months in this shoe, the back of the sole had warped 1/4 inch. I do not recommend. I have to throw these shoes in the trash.

I used these boots to rebuild my homes retaining wall and build a deck; they didn't even make it to the deck without a rip in the "leather". Not only did they fall apart they'd make my toes go numb.

Felt like the toe and heel were made of steel. The most uncomfortable thing I've ever had in my feet.

These boots were a big disappointment. The soles were attached differently to each boot. They were returned. Not Zappos' fault.

The heel splits on these boots between the small tan bottom layer and the white thick layer!! Called Zappos and they were really cool about sending me another pair but 2 weeks later they split again and I finally gave up. I have a very low impact office job and they still didnt hold up. Horrible quality and a waste of money.
