Very comfortable for steel toe boots. Stylish and safe. A bit heavy but I got used to them after a while.

Seem pretty comfortable out of the box, for steel toed boots that is. I wear a woman's 8 and it's very hard to find boots in these smaller sizes, but the man's 7 is close enough.

Tim's - These boots are awesome, I just cruise around in them, don't do any construction or anything, but I really like them. They fit comfortably, and look cool.

I wore them for construction work while in school (lab work) for quite a few years. Mostly for safety reasons. I did mixed/casted a lot of concrete almost every week so they got wet/dirty all the time. I remembered they were advertised as being waterproof when I bought them which they were...until they weren't. No longer see that in the current product description. So, that's fair. I put them back in the original box and kept them in shoe closet after I graduated. And the next time I needed steel toe shoes, the soles literally disintegrated (see pictures). I search Google to see if I can get them repair and found out that others had the same problem with these shoes. It seems to be a problem with other shoe brands too from what I found on the web. Even for casual/dress shoes. Seems like shoe makers opted for cheaper/lower quality materials. Makes me sad that I have to throw them away as the leather is still in rather good shape after these years. They were also quite comfortable for steel toe safety shoes too. All in all, I would still recommend these after the fact. At least, mine lasted for several years.

I purchased the Timberland PRO 6 Pit Boss Steel Toe and the Timberland PRO TiTAN reg 6 Safety Toe because I was not sure which would fit best - thanks free return shipping! I first tried the Titan, felt comfortable, walked around on the carpet, still very good. Tried on the Pit Boss, my wife said it looked better but my feet said ouch! Tried walking, tried sitting around for a while, painful. I have a standard Size 9M foot, but these really squeezed them. Today I wore the Titan's to a construction site, walked around for about 4 hours and sometimes completely forgot I had on steel-toed boots. Not a bit of pain, felt very comfy.

Better than some, worse than others- The footpad was hard, not enough room in the toe. Wide size was narrower than others I've bought. We'll see how they wear. But the foot bed is definitely something they need to look into. A boot this expensive should have a better feel and more comfort with the sole of your foot.

I bought the 20th anniversary boot on sale. Even at 30% off the retail price I couldn't keep the boots. They looked nothing like the photo on the website. The orange leather liner is plastic looking and makes the whole boot look and feel cheap.

At first these boots were not comfortable, but after awhile they broke in. The biggest problem I have with these boots, is that 6 months after wearing them the right sole separated from the top of the boot. This makes wearing them dangerous in my profession of hvac/r. I like Timberland boots, just not this model. I have owned my Timberland boots and have never had this problem.

Size 12 too small and narrow. Size 13 seem to be too big. After wearing boots for a couple of weeks, the back of my heels throb in pain. Problem did not show up until I used them at work going up and down a ramp.

Owned a brand new pair for 9 days before they fell apart. One of the rivets that holds the laces ripped through the boot. The river was not installed with a squash ring on the inside. I sent it to timberland for warrenty. After owning the boots for less than two weeks timberland informed me the boots were over a year old and would not warrenty them. Instead of installing a rivet to fixed the bad one they cost me $17.00 more dollars to ship. I will never buy timberland boots again and I will make sure i stear everyone away from them.

I was quite surprised and disappointed to find out how incredibly uncomfortable these boots are. Poor inserts. Minimal cushion. The boot looks fine and the sole is tough as nails, but this boot will lay a beating on your heel, ankles and toes. After several years of use, I wore out my wolverines. They were great, never a blister and confortable all day. After several long days with these Timberland Pro Pit Bosses, I have blisters on both big toes and both little toes, as well as abrasions on inside of both ankles, and incredibly sore heels. What can I say, if you like pain, buy these boots. As for myself, I will be buying another trusty pair of wolverines and throwing these away!

I really like the boots. They are comfortable and last for a long time and they are pretty light weight compared to 8 inch Rigmaster XT.

I have purchased about 6 or 7 pairs of the pit boss model over many years. I have also purchased a couple other timberland pro boot models as well. They were also a great boot, but I always go back to the pit boss model. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone. I would also recommend purchasing the anti fatigue insoles and the thicker laces timberland has well worth it!! Besides the thin laces and thin insoles they come with, these boots are fantastic!
