Overall a good boot - The cushioning in the boot is great and it definitely fits according to the size. It looks good and holds up well. I have flat feet and normally need to replace the in soles, but haven't had to with these shoes because the arch support is just great. My one complaint is that the tounge tends to move to the side which can cause some discomfort.

Probably the best damn pair of boots I've ever owned. These things are comfortable. There are only two things I didn't like about them -- the way my left foot fit in the heel cup, and the ankles took some serious breaking in. Other than that, it's a damn shame we haven't contracted Timberland to make combat boots yet.

rugged steel toe boots - Timberland PRO's look good. Took a week to fully break them in to the comfort I desire, but they fit well and seem sturdy enough for the work I do. Recommend them to anyone needing a rugged boot for work.

Great boots - These a very comfortable straight out of the box and they look great. It looks like these boots will provide a long service life.

My husband loves them! I ordered these boots for my husband who does a lot of walking in his job. He loves them, they didn't take long to break in like the other Timberlands he was buying and with the steel toe, the toe space is wider and he hasn't had any pain on the top of his foot. I was worried that the steel toe would weigh down his foot since he walks so much but he said it doesn't.

Satisfied - The shoe ran very true to size - a very good shoe - the order arrived in less time than expected - although the brown was not available in my size - I went with the lighter color and like it.

working boots - I am enjoying the boots, really/ but more importantly is the service you guys provide/ honestly it is just great & excellent *(hassle free) things happen, and the first pair didn't fit right, but returning them was easy & fast/ thanks much !!

Nice, but scratch easily... I bought these boots in the darker brown for my husband for work. He loves them. They do not feel too heavy to wear all day to work and they have nice support. However, the surface gets scratched and banged up very easily, so if you want your boots to be new looking and sharp after you've worn them even just once, then pass on these. If you are looking for a comfortable and supportive boot to wear to work, then these are recommended.

Good so far (haven't worn them much yet) I originally bought the Wolverine Exert 6" Steel Toe Opanka Boot. Found that it ran wide, so I returned them (Zappos makes returns painless). The Timberland PRO Pit Boss runs true to size. Arrived as advertised. I haven't really used them yet (I'm not a professional--I'll be wearing them while doing home projects), but from the fit and solid feel, I anticipate very good wear from these boots. Third time my family has purchased from Zappos--we're totally impressed with its customer service (fast service, free shipping on returns, etc.). Will continue to shop at Zappos.

I would reorder tomorrow! The boots are great, the service was superb and they came in the mail before I could blink my eyes!!

Great Work Boots - Timberland - I really liked the boots, although they did take a few days to break in which is normal. After two weeks of wear they are comfortable.

Great boots - These boots have good support and my feet aren't bothering me after a 10 hr shift on concrete all night. Would recommend them to everyone who walks on concrete all day or night.

Good Boot - I only buy Timberland Pro series, and Zappos made it ten times as easier and plenty cheaper to do so.

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION!!!! First of all I have to give props to Zappos. I cannot believe I received my boots in less than 24 hours, so their first impression is fantastic. I have only had the boots for a day so I can't give an honest opinion of the comfort; however I have had other Timberland boots in the past and was very happy with the fit, comfort, and construction. Just going by first looks they are built very well with a stitched sole so they won't separate like glued soles tend to do. The initial fit feels true to size but a little tight in the width, but I think they will stretch out as they break in and feel right.

Bear with them - All the other reviews are true, break in can be a bit uncomfortable, but it was a rather short time. Since they've broken in the comfort is unbelievable. To the point that I will buy another pair just for chores at home.

Fresh clean Timbs baby - These kicks are where it’s at. Great boots, definitely the most comfortable vie ever owned. The layer of cushioning (24-7 comfort suspension) between the sole and bottom of the boot is no joke. But, they are hard to keep clean, toe scuffs easily. But heck, that goes with the phrase "WORK-boots".

This is a nice boot all around - Dear Zappos, We have purchased boots for my son from you many times. He is on his feet all day long and along with his shoe size (15) and requirements (steel toe), one is limited to choice. I (as was he) thrilled when I found this nice looking boot that offered a sole made for people who are on their feet all day long. It also offered the steel toe. My only fear is that it will not be available from you again. Please...keep it in stock! It's definitely a great boot all around.

Pit Boss Steel Toe - The shoes took about a day to wear in so that they weren't stiff but, after that they are the most comfortable boots I have owned.

Pit boss timberland pro - Look great; great style. And I think that after another month of wear they will be great! Inital wearings were not very comfortable. Design allows little forward motion of ankle, but open in rear. Could feel the eyelets pressing through the tongue of boot in front. I think they are growing on me though. Recommend ensuring that you get a snug fit ...error on a smaller size. Do not lace the boot at neck to tight.

Best boots found - I have owned several different brands of boots for 8 years running, and about 2 years ago. I came upon timberland Pro series and have loved them dearly--the ones I currently have are over 2 years old and still comfortable for about 4 hours. I am going to purchase a new pair soon.

WOW! These are the most comfortable work boots I have ever purchased. The look professional, the coworkers respect them, the fellas jock them, the ladies love 'em...and my feet adore them...I'm on my toes for 12 hours a day, working in the desert constantly stepping on rocks, stones, and boulders...unsettled gravel all day. I was worried that these shoes wouldn't be all that...and also thought Timbs were overrated. I have three pairs of timbs...the classics and euro trekkers to kick it casually. This is the shoe ultimate work shoe for those in construction, firefighting or the like...an exact fit unlike the classics...a definite buy.

State worker - I have never had such a nice easy enjoyable time in ordering my husband's boots. I ordered two pair and even the return was easy!!! We will now use your website for all of our boot and/shoe purchases.
