Well I was excited, I love timberlands. Even got them delivered before I went to work. I'm on my feet 10 hours straight, at first they were perfect then the support started rubbing on my left ankle. Got to the point where I was in alot of pain & had to go home, tried them agian the next day and samething happened. Went outside on my break and switched my shoes in the car.

I use these as general work boots. I have wide feet and bought EE size. However, I think the steel toe in these things is intended for a D width foot. Boot width is fine but the steel toe curves in and rubs against my toes, pinky toe and next toe in, so I can only wear them for a short time and definitely painful to walk downhill in them. Curvature of the steel toe is all wrong. They are the boots of last resort now. Its too bad, I really like the style of the boots and Timberlands have always lasted. Would have bought them without the steel toe if they had been available in my size.

There is a bump under the material in the right shoe right where my heal goes. Clearly defective. The left shoe is fine. Very uncomfortable walking around with a bump in the shoe.

Absolutely the worst work boot I've ever owned. Uncomfortable, no grip even on shallow pitched roof, too stiff. I've waited to review until I have them ample time to break inapprox 300 hours of wear time, and they never improved. I've literally resorted to going barefoot rather than wear these for another Minute.

(I bought the normal and wide version and tried both in my size.) I have wide feet and even the wide model of the shoes pinched my toes. Switched to Keen and CAT boots of the same size and the toe was way more roomy. If you have small or even normal feet ignore this review.

They look very nice but not comfortable at the end of the day. And they caused an abrasion/scratch on my feet.

Better material should be used to cover the steel toe.

I bought these timberland boots 6 months ago and the bottom of the boots, the heel part, are falling apart. This is the last pair of timberland boots I will ever buy. I'm going with redwing from now on. Redwing boots last me 1 to 1.5 years .

Very uncomfortable. I contacted timberland customer service and told them I bought shoes and tried to wear for 2 days. They hurt my ankles and were very uncomfortable. I asked if I could return them, They said no, they will not accept them back because I wore them. I thought you guaranteed your product. Obviously not.

Fast lace hook popped off the first time I laced them up. Customer service told me false promises and never made it right. I was given a refund but that's not what I wanted. Oh well, time to try a different brand.

Seems like a great boot, but too small (9W) which is my usual size. Tried to order a 10W "but on backorder". Timberland says they will let me know when 10s are available. Not like I'm trying to buy a size 14.

When boots arrived, they were all scuffed up and looked slightly worn. The size, which was my normal size, was also too small! However, Zappos made the return process extremely easy. I didn't have to pay to have them shipped back. All I had to do was print the label for UPS and put back on box on top of old label. Will still continue to shop here!

These boots must be used up quickly, as in worked to death in a short time as the soles will degrade to crumbles in a very few years. An attempt to have the soles replaced at a shoe repair store was met by "it always happens and new boots cost less than fixing the ones you have". I needed to stop using mine for a while to recover from surgery and when I pulled them from the closet later they fell apart. The soles looked rotted from the inside out.

Bought a pair of the pitboss work boots, wore for about 8 months then the bottom started to seperate from the boot. Emailed timberland about it and they never responded. Never would buy again
