These are my husbands favorite boots to work in. He wears them out in one season n I order him two pairs a year. The boots hold there shape n the soles wear evenly also. After purchasing these, not switching to any other brand.

I love my pro series steel toe boots. I'm around horses all day and the boots have saved me several times. Being from back east we would say these boots are wicked pissa! You can get a cheaper boot but they don't last. Trust me. These last.

I bought these a month ago, and have had to wear them nearly every day. I work in a warehouse where I stand for about 8 hours straight, 5 days a week. These have proven to be very durable, comfortable and well-made. I am very happy!

An extremely comfortable boot. I've been used to wearing steeltoes and needed this welcomed break. I wear a 10/10.5 EEE which the width is very hard to find till now, see I love my wiggle room and if I don't have it, I won't wear them. The only thing I can say could use some improvement is: sustainability. Why? Because the heal and sole will wear out long before the shoe. My last two pairs of workboots where Wolverines. (Hope you guys don't get in trouble for this) All because they where said to be made in Canada. Well I had to guess again. So I'll just say this, "these are the most comfortable shoes I own, next to my Cole Haan's"

I have big feet. It is hard to find shoes to fit big feet. Zappos makes it easier. I cannot buy shoes locally, I have to order them. I have been wearing Timberlands since the 1970's and for my money theses are the best on the planet. Comfortable and serviceable.

Lasted 2 years in a refinery environment walking on catwalks and climbing ladders. Still were wearable but the tread was pretty worn down

Awesome pair of boots! I work in a restaurant, and am on my feet between 10-15 hours a day. While it seems like overkill to have these boots in a restaurant, they are the most comfortable and durable footwear I have used in that setting. I've tried all of the recommended shoes for hospitality work (Birkenstock clog and boots, timberland restaurant shoes, sneakers, other restaurant shoes, Skechers memory foam etc), but none have been as comfortable as my pit bosses. While I don't have much use for steel toe or electrical resistance, it certainly can't hurt! Seriously, it's hard for me to use any other shoes, even when I'm just out and about. I have Resistors, and these are much more friendly for every-day use, since they dont seem as heavy/bulky. If you work in a restaurant or in a profession where you stand all day, give these a try! I spent so much time doing research, and money, on comfortable shoes that can't stand up to the abuse of every day use. They might look out of place in a restaurant, but that foot pain will be gone! I'm not one to write reviews, but these boots definitely deserve a thumbs up.

These boots lasted me 4 years of heavy use. I used them for 2 years of warehouse work and now 2 years of butcher work. I also use them to fish and have fallen in the lake plenty of times. I wear these boots for 45+ hours a week for 4 years. No tears or nothing.

These boots are great! Arch support could be better, but I try to keep in mind that these were designed more for safety, and they do a good job at that. They already feel more flexible and broken in after a week, and I have no problem standing in them for 9+ hours.

I bought my first pair of PitBoss composite toe while working for an armored car company. I spent hundreds of hours walking, stooping, crouching, jumping, standing, and you you name it --- on concrete and steel floored trucks. Also, I worked in sub-zero weather while wearing these. Granted, I wouldn't recommend them for ice fishing, but if you are moving they will keep your feet warm with proper socks. As far as durability and comfort, they will not let you down. I do remember during the break in period that they were rigid. But, as they formed to my feet, like a baseball glove does, you will love them. I also did some hunting in them and farm work. The leather is high quality , and the laces last forever. I had that first pair for more than ten years. I'm over 250 pounds also, so each movement magnified the stress put on these boots. I also had numerous foot injuries from sports. I have never had any pair of shoes of any style that supported my feet as these do. I have since moved on from less labor intensive jobs. However, I just purchased my second pair of PitBoss! These are brown and soft toe compared to original black ones/composite toe. These look great and I look forward to wearing them for many "foot pleasing" years!

So far these are amazing boots they are super comfortable I got them originally for work where I am a carpenter so I am on my feet alot and always dropping 2x4s and 4x4s on my toes and couldn't find a boot that was comfortable enough to work in all day until I found these I do believe I found the right boots I haven't been to work yet yet I still haven't stopped wearing them they're so comfortable I love this boot

Wear 7 days a week 10-14 hours a day. I have owned 5 pair over 7 years! They hold up great. These provide great stability on rough ground. I never have aches in lower back and knees like other boots. I recently was disappointed when trying to purchase these through the "boot truck" that comes to my work, they have discontinued "my boot" I hope this does not mean the pit boss will be discontinued.
Thank you for a great product! Never stop making them!

The reason I chose these peticular boots was, they are lighter in weight but you still get the Timberland pro quality and protection.. Some pro boots are over 2.5 lbs per boot. If memory serves me correct these came in at 1.58 lbs per boot, being 50 yrs plus this is a boot you can wear for a full work day all week..

My first pair lasted me 2 years before the bottoms wore out. Had no issues with the leather. Before these boots I was going through pairs every six months. Now on my second pair of timberland pros and loving them
