The fit was true in both length and width. Just got them so I have to work through the break-in period. Overall, quite pleased with them.

I'm a construction pro and I'm always looking to get the best boots for my work. That's one of the things I spend the most money on :) This Timberland Pit Boss was very heavy compared to a previous boot I had (from Dewalt) but to my suprise once I got used to the weight it was a great boot! I did a full review here if you want to check it out for more details!

This is the 3rd pair I bought from Timberland. It not the most expensive one you can buy to impress your coworkers. These boots built to work not for hang out in Work places. The only thing I did not like is the insole "not last very long" you will need to buy its replacement after 3 months. Inshort, the Pitboss model is the overall good quality boot at reasonable price.

Classic, rugged, revealable. I left a pair at my parents. Couple days later...GONE! The size of the steal toe version is kinda' suspect. I wear my black pair for Gigs. Peace out.

These boots are more comfortable than the last pair I bought. They weren't the pro model. this material is definitely better if you're on your feet all day. Padded tongue, better shape, better quality overall.

I replaced a pair of the original style that I was using for several years. The seams on the side of the boot, where leather meets the sole, gave way on both sides of both boots. Not so bad I can't use them, and I still will use them, but I can't use them for work anymore. My only issue with my original pair of boots was the shoestring. I went through several of your shoestrings and they kept breaking. I had to replace that with an off brand. I upgraded to steel toed pit boss and they are an all around improved boot. they are more comfortable right out of the box. They feel more sturdy, and they are warmer. I am really loving my new pair. I hope the shoestrings hold up longer. Thanks for making a great boot, these are so comfortable I will probably buy a pair of your shoes.

They are heavier than the boot I was wearing but, they are a true work boot, comparatively speaking.

I am using this initially for school. I am a large man of 320lbs. and I have to stand on a concrete painted floor for a number of hours. I have flat feet and a XW foot..the ones I bought were Wide. I did put a cheap extra layer of pad in them to give me some additional cushion, but generally you wouldn't need it. I bought these because I had read that they had orthopedic benefits. After wearing them now for a few weeks, I am able to stand now without succumbing to very sore feet. They will need some time to properly break in. the other thing is that they aren't that heavy to wear. So far, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

Bought these for my husband who works in a tire factory. He raves about them! They are comfortable and the steel toe doesn’t dig into his foot. His old boots made his feet smell but not these no oder whatsoever! I highly recommend these for any one who needs a tough comfortable pair of work boots!!!

Steel toe boots are not mandatory at my manufacturing position. Steel toe boots are also usually a pain for the top of my foot which can flare up my plantar fasciitis (self-diagnosed) which has been happening at least twice per year. No problem so far for these boots. My last pair of these lasted 7+ years, which means I am expecting the same.

These boots are very stiff, takes awhile to break in. Not comfortable on the ankles, cannot tie them up tight, no padding on the ankle. Would not buy the 6" again, might try the 8" boot the next time. Looking for a 6" boot that is comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Timberland Pro boot has a good reputation and have owned a few in the past, but not too happy with these.

Very comfortable boot. Can work in them all day and not have sore feet. Durable, you can get 2 to 3 years use out of them.

I ordered these to replace a pair of Timberland Pro Boondock 6" that wore out in 5 months. Was hoping to break these in and give them a proper go at work in the coming weeks. When the order was delivered I immediately brought them inside and tried them on. Wouldn't you know that the shoes are smaller than I expected. What fit perfectly in Timberland Pro Boondock 6" boots, feels like its a full size too small. Its also a bit tough for me as if any manufacturer made a size 12.5; I'd be the perfect candidate for them. For now, lesson learned, buy both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. It's just aggravating to now have to wait for another boot to show up and also wait for the refund of this one

The Timberland Pro Pit Boss has been my "go to" work boot for almost a decade. Comfort coupled with durability makes these work boots the best value by far. In my humble opinion, the best work boot on Earth.

Unwearable. My first day was horrible, the lack of cushion on the hard surface caused my entire foot, knees and back extreme discomfort. so I bought Dr. Scholls inserts and it basically made no difference. I could only wear the boots for under 3 hours before the pain became intolerable. Needless to say I'm extremely dissatisfied
