I replaced a pair of the original style that I was using for several years. The seams on the side of the boot, where leather meets the sole, gave way on both sides of both boots. Not so bad I can't use them, and I still will use them, but I can't use them for work anymore. My only issue with my original pair of boots was the shoestring. I went through several of your shoestrings and they kept breaking. I had to replace that with an off brand. I upgraded to steel toed pit boss and they are an all around improved boot. they are more comfortable right out of the box. They feel more sturdy, and they are warmer. I am really loving my new pair. I hope the shoestrings hold up longer. Thanks for making a great boot, these are so comfortable I will probably buy a pair of your shoes.

Steel toe boots are not mandatory at my manufacturing position. Steel toe boots are also usually a pain for the top of my foot which can flare up my plantar fasciitis (self-diagnosed) which has been happening at least twice per year. No problem so far for these boots. My last pair of these lasted 7+ years, which means I am expecting the same.

Very comfortable boot. Can work in them all day and not have sore feet. Durable, you can get 2 to 3 years use out of them.

The best boots you will ever buy.

The Timberland Pro Pit Boss has been my "go to" work boot for almost a decade. Comfort coupled with durability makes these work boots the best value by far. In my humble opinion, the best work boot on Earth.

I requested Timberland give option for this boot upper with a deeper lug sole. I would by both for different site and work conditions. I like the speed lace hooks. "Instead of the usual metal eyelets most shoes are equipped with, speed hooks are metal hooks which make lacing, as the name implies, speedy. Rather than having to fuss about, threading each lace carefully through each eyelet, speed hooks allow the wearer to simply wrap the laces around each hook"

Boots feel great from day 1.

These boots fit very well and are comfortable.

This is likely my tenth pair. I've been wearing this boot since 2000. I will wear these boots in the office or in the field, in the woods or on date night. They're always appropriate. They can take a couple of weeks to break-in, but once they do, they're the most comfortable shoe in the closet.

I work 40+hours a week in retail and I walk on concrete all day, so I needed the proper footwear because my knees would hurt at the end of my shifts. These boots are great and are much better than the recommended shoes that I was wearing before.
